A professional set up company…
A professional set up company throughout the booking process. Great venue at Washington with excellent facilities and learner resource pack during the course. Only just finished the course but so far the NUCO support system in place on line for trainer/instructors appears very professional and well set up to run your courses post qualification with updates to first aid etc.
I attended the course as a qualified teacher already and felt that the first two were more about teaching where I expected to be covering more first aid skills. I accept there were students on the course who were doing the teaching qualification as well alongside the first aid and that would have been more beneficial to them.
For those of us not doing the teaching qualification the course finished on day 4 so would like to have done more first aid skills with it being advertised as a 5 day course.
The trainer had an in depth and outstanding level of knowledge in first aid and introduced some brilliant practical teaching methods of getting it across to the learners. An excellent part of the course on day 3 & 4 and thoroughly enjoyable. However I had to give the trainer some feedback early in the course on his manner in which he’d made the group feel during a practical scenario and this was later addressed with me.
The trainer also just needs to be a bit more aware on occasions of some of the words or comments used when in a professional training environment with people who may not find them appropriate or comfortable.
But overall I would recommend this company and course.

I've been putting off doing this course for years as im not that comfortable with public speaking. Great experience with Nuco
Easy to book onto a training course with, Venue was good, Course was intense and compact but Instructor (Michelle) was great, Experienced and very knowledgeable, putting everyone at ease, being inclusive, accommodating and making the training course enjoyable. This is my third training input with…
This is my third training input with Nuco having attended a 5-day First Aid Trainer's course, a 2 day MHFA Instructors course and most recently, a 2 day Outdoor First Aid course. All courses have been a pleasure to attend, been informative, and presented in a manner that recognises the knowledge of those attending the course. Food has been good (excellent at Manor Adventure), in-depth knowledge of trainers has been evident and equipment has been good. Varied delivery styles of training caters for different learning styles. I have no hesitation in recommending Nuco.

Once again NUCO did not disappoint
Once again NUCO did not disappoint, I had the most fantastic experience. The instructor (Danniella) very quickly got our course to gel and feel at ease. The instruction was professional, fun and taught in such a way that I understood and remembered the content. All of my questions were answered immediately which demonstrated her knowledge and experience in the subject matter. I actually looked forward to attending throughout the 5 days and felt sombre on my final day. I aspire (and also feel inspired) to reach this standard of instruction.

Well, I can say, the course is hard work. But you are informed of this from the start.
Meet a great bunch of people on the course, and learnt so much from it as well.
By thd end of the course I felt equipped to do first aid and teach it.
