New York Institute of Art and Design Reviews 

This program is excellent! I researched a lot of the online Interior Design courses and this was by far the best. Now as I work my way thru the course I am impressed by the material and the professors are always available if I have a question. There are hands on projects to turn in and the program also gives us a great look at NYC design hotbeds . I highly recommend !

NYIAD is an accredited school online. You can add a certification course to your resume. The best part is that you can go at your own pace. They offer many programs that you can adjust study time as you work. I highly suggest a design program whether you are single, divorced or a married person seeking a credential to add to your resume. ~ Selia ~~

I have had homework take 3 months to get back to me. By the time I realized the way thing worked were not for me is was to late.

I learned alot and hoping to continue my Ed.Instructors were avaible for questions and gave great advice and constructive criticism when needed. The online system was easy to navigate. Be careful with the instructions in your unit kits vs the online instructions. They can be very confusing. If you have questions just email instructors. They're good about getting back to you quickly.

The course and instructors are excellent. I learned a lot. For me personally, I would have preferred not having to do the kind of photography and website that comes in the later units. But I understand the NY State requirements for approving and accrediting the course.

I learned a lot of valuable information . I think some of the styles etc are a little outdated and also NY "tilted"... Communication is fair . But on the whole it was fun and valuable.

Best decision I ever made. I’ve had trouble finding what I wanna do with my life but going to NYIAD I have finally found it.

The criteria is easy to read and comprehend and the open ability to go at your own pace takes the stress off someone like me who gets easily distracted

I love interior decoration so I apply for interior design and I love it. It more than I expected. Very detailed. Am a proud student of nyiad. Will be applying for event planning soon. 😍

This is a wonderful school so far

I love the course content however I still have issues with how project/assignments are submitted. Very complicated for someone who knows just the basics in computers.

Thank you for the ability to continue pursuing education and work at the same time . The program has made my life easy and am grateful.

I am doing the Wedding Planner course and the course material is interactive, easy to understand and keeps you motivated to continue.

I had great time with the studies in nyiad.

Course was well laid out and easy to follow. Prompt response from school when I had any questions. It would be nice to submit projects online as it took a full month each time I sent it to be graded until I got it back.

For someone with a lifelong passion for interior design - but a 25+ year career in an entirely different field - the NYIAD interior design program gave me an excellent foundation to refocus my career on something I truly love. The design education - including the business aspects of the field - was invaluable. It has shown potential employers in the industry that I have taken the steps to develop the necessary skills to succeed in a design-related position.
