went into o2 shop Wakefield west Yorkshire.
the person who dealt with us was from Huddersfield shop filling in for sick. she was absolutely lovely & professional, knew her job well. however, there was a worker in, she had blonde curly hair. I think she was filling in as manager. she spoke to people disgusting elderly person getting muddled up & she had no time whatsoever for her. & her tone with her was no need at all.

Sent my Iphone 12 Pro Max Pacific Blue 128GB,Unlocked off to 02 recycle centre for a quote, never even accepted their offer for £140 and my phone is worth £242 grade AAA+++ condition on a voucher or cash price offer of £187 at CEX. They did everything behind my back and stole my phone from me and even removed the IMEI number without my permission and said that the payment has already gone through and already processed with my consent. i made it perfectly clear to them on the phone that i declined their offer right away. Apparently my phone is already gone. I'm thinking about escalating my claim further and taking them to trading standards and BBC Watch Dog when you are suppose to send it back to the customer. Be well aware of 02 recycle centre because they are total scammers and what they are doing is illegal and their standards of service is an absolute disgrace !!!!!!!!!!!

The staff at the Cambridge branch made the upgrade really straightforward.

It was straight forward old for new phone and contract, you get a 14 day cooling off period like any contract , a small fee upfront depending on phone etc but I found it very easy and straightforward. As long as your phone isn't damaged then it's basically a straight swap new contract end of story but I don't know how it would work of turn handset is damaged at the time of upgrade.

DO NOT USE this company - sent my phone in and given a quote for £20 (which was very low to begin with) which was revised to £4 due to screen burn. I asked for evidence of this and they sent me a photo of the screen which showed no decolouration or missing pixels. I cancelled the order and they sent the phone back with a new pattern lock on it so that I could not access the phone. Called them and asked them to resolve this or provide instructions but have still not heard back from them 3 days later. Absolute SCAM! Edit: upon return from o2 recycle, I sent the phone to cex and they have just given me £84 cash...go figure that one out!
