Fantastic trainer!

I can highly recommend Abbie. I had a 1-2-1 session and she had my tornado of a dog listening in no time at all. Abbie showed me some brilliant techniques and then helped me to practice them. Reward based training which was so calm. Lots of fantastic advice to take away too!

We had been looking for someone to help…

We had been looking for someone to help with our over zealous Cane corso for a few weeks, but due to his breed we were struggling. However we happened to see an advert in the local pet shop window for a dog trainer, I gave Abbie a call and she came to the rescue. After only 1 at home session, Abbie not only pointed us in the exact direction of what we should be doing to correct Pablos poor behaviour, but made a remarkable difference with him during that time also. She was amazing with him and not put off by his size either. 100% would recommend every time.

Genuine Dog Person

Met with Abbie to help with my rescued dogs. She had some great advice and I have been working on my own with the advise. Abbie is understanding of dogs needs, but is also very personable. Thanks Abbie

Best of the best

We own Abbie most of our remaining sanity.
Our Large -and full of energy- 1 year old bull-Lurcher was making our lives impossible. A little walk down our street was a dream never to be accomplished, he was not happy on the lead and reacted to any moving animal or dog and redirect towards us. Today, we are back now from a friendly on lead walk downtown with another dog friend and after we had a nice off-leash play on one of the city parks. He is still a work in process but she has helped us so much.
Great attitude and awesome understanding of the dog needs. She knows how to teach you to deal with your pet. I just wish I had meet her when we got the puppy, I feel I wasted my time (and money) in bad trainers before.
I can not thank her enough.

Specialist lead training

Abbie accepted our Romanian rescue for intensive lead training, and over the course of about 10 days she made a decisive difference, making this feral dog learn to accept and enjoy the lead and to associate the lead with enjoyable walks. Highly recommended!

Brilliant Dog Trainer.

I cannot speak highly enough of Abbie and the training my two young Labradors received whilst in her care.
She has an exceptional rapport with dogs
and she achieved amazing results with recall, lead walking and stopped them jumping up to greet people. They thoroughly enjoyed their training and Abbie kept me informed of their progress sending me videos regularly.
She is just fantastic, a lovely lady and I would thoroughly recommend her.
She is always there to answer calls if you should need any ongoing advice.

Good trainer

We had a 1-2-1 session with Abbie as our dog Kane is reactive whilst out on walks. She gave us a lot of good advice, which we have continued to work on at home. We took videos whilst out and would send them to her over WhatsApp so she could see our progress and provide any help where necessary. We are happy with the help she has provided so far.

Highly recommend

I was having difficulty with my dog and someone recommended Abby. After a 1:2:1 with Abby to assess me and my dog she said she could help. Within 10 minutes of training at home I knew this was going to be good for my dog and me. Not only did my pup need training but so did I. He went for Bootcamp with Abby for a week, I received updates throughout the week and it was all so positive. I was happy to have my pup home but a pup who I now feel confident to walk around people. Great after care service too. I had a bit of a wobble and Abby was at the end of the phone. Thank you Abby x

Regretting What I had done

Regretting What I had done
At the age of 62, .we bought Blue a very strong springer spaniel who a couple of times pulled me over when walking. We met Abbi last year and had Blue for 2 sessions in total of 11 days and laid the foundations for Blue also a couple of sessions with us as we also needed to be shown where we were going wrong...I always know we have Abbi at the end of the phone if needed.Blue and I now love our walks and I stay on my 2 feet

Last chance saloon

We called in Abbie after our reactive 4 year old miniature schnauzer, Bertie, had attacked a visiting dog in our home. He was already under the care of the vet for a known back problem and having lots of painkillers. The vet had prescribed sedation and the had broached the subject of ‘not all dogs being able to be helped and that we might have to euthanise him.’ Abbie was his last chance saloon!
We’d stopped walking him as he was too reactive. We felt our lives were ruled by him and he was not a pleasure to have. We have a long history of dog ownership and have another resident dog. Our 14 year old alpha male had recently died and Bertie had taken his place in a bad and aggressive way.
We really were at our wits end.
Abbie did a home visit and assessed us, Bertie and 5 year old Poppy (also a MS).
She refused to accept him to bootcamp if he was sedated and wanted to fully understand his pain issues.
Looking back this is so simple.
We arranged additional tests at the vets. In consultation with them we stopped his sedation and all of his daily oral pain meds. He now has a monthly injection for pain. It’s controlled well.
Abbie, in her consultation, gave us so many tips and advice.
In a nutshell he never went to bootcamp. Abbie was great and still keeps in touch. He goes on daily group walks with up to 7 other dogs. The vet, who is amazing, is stunned by his change. Don’t get me wrong. He can still be a git but we manage this. We don’t allow other dogs, apart from Poppy, in to the house. We respect this is his territory.
IT’s psychology. Abbie is not going to train your dog. She is going to train you. Have an open mind and be prepared to work for what you want to achieve.

Amazing, amazing, amazing

Where do I begin?! Abbie is by far the best dog trainer we’ve had for our little border terrier. Billie (that’s the dogs name) was pulling us all over the place on walks, she was a nightmare in public places, barking at anything and everything. After going to a number of trainers and getting nowhere, we were recommended Abbie by a friend. After a few sessions with Abbie, the difference was incredible. Now Bill trots beautifully next to us on walks, the reactivity has gone down massively and we can actually sit down for a meal with her at the pub. Being dog parents is now an absolute joy. Abbie also sends over loads of “pupdates” when she’s got Billie. She’s also been been on hand if we need any help for a quick tip or two. Can’t recommend her services enough. Oh, and she’s an absolute legend.

Brilliant!!

We have used my Pawfect Dog Trainer several times over the last year for our Border Collie Nelly. To be honest we were at our wits end. Nelly had become reactive with other dogs, had no recall and herded cars every time we walked her.
We got in touch with Abbie who was patient kind and advised us that she would do initial training with her but it would be a long process.
She took her for 10 days to start with and we got daily updates, videos and voice notes to show her progress.
When she arrived home we noticed a big difference. She was far from perfect, but Abbie said carry on with the ground work and it will come!
Fast forward 6 months and she is definitely improving, her recall is now 90% there, she has completely stopped herding cars and she is better with other dogs.
I cannot praise Abbie highly enough, she cares passionately about all the dogs in her care and works so hard to get the best results!! Would definitely recommend if you need a trainer.
