Disgusting bully company
Disgusting bully company, issued parking fine even though there was a problem with their machines.
What a disgusting company
What a disgusting company. Parked 2 separate times in 1 day at an Asda car park in harpurhey, Manchester and was advised the ANPR cameras had captured my vehicle parked for 5+ hours which was not the case. They used the entrance footage from my initial visit and the exit footage from my second visit. Tried to appeal which fell on deaf ears. Asked them to recheck the footage which would prove my innocence which they refused. Currently in the process of submitting a civil court case against this company as I refuse to pay a fine for something I haven’t done.
Worst company to deal with!
Ocean parking doesnt even deserve a…
Ocean parking doesnt even deserve a star. terrible company.
Watch out when you park in Milton Keynes and pay via ringo. They still fine you.
Snow covered parking bays
I appealed against a fine sent to me for wrong parking. On the day in question, when I arrived at the car park, it was covered in snow as it had snowed heavily on the way. The lines to the parking bays were covered but quite conveniently Ocean must have visited later and took pictures at lunchtime, once the snow had melted slightly, the pics of my car were taken at 12:24pm outlining that I wasn't parked in the bay correctly, after arriving at around 8:45am.
I asked for them to take weather conditions into consideration but I didn't stop to take pictures when I arrived at the car park, so I don't have a leg to stand on unfortunately, no point in reappealing. If I had somewhere else to park to get on the tram to work, I would. They can wait until the very last minute to get their fine and not a minute earlier.
Dubious Practices and Zero Customer Service Policy
Absolute scammers with zero customer service policy. Avoid at all cost and park elsewhere.
So after Appealing and complaining
So after Appealing and complaining to the company they just do not deal with the issue, They closed the complaint off so i raised a new complaint about how they had dealt with the original complaint - They have since informed me they will no longer deal with me!!! - Absolute disgrace of a company, clearly a SCAM and they need to be investigated
Modern day scammers
If I could give them a -zero I would, a bunch of licensed bandits nothing more than modern day thieves, I will never park anywhere I see there sign again, don’t use them bankrupt these conmen
Do not use!!
Parked once at a park and ride facility. Received 2 separate charges for 2 dates as I had parked overnight. Accepted that I was due a charge but questioned why there were 2. Question wasn’t answered and generic rejection letters sent instead.
They know people will panic and pay you before the charge goes up. Zero customer service, zero understanding!
Knowing scam people out of money
Knowing scam people out of money. Have CCTV in place there however when parking for a gig at the o2 in Manchester and following the signs for parking and paying attendants £20, you will then receive a £100 fine a few days later. They know this goes on yet do nothing about it. Reported this company.
Disgusting and irritating scammers:
Disgusting and irritating scammers:
Parked at McDonalds, Wisemore Central at Walsall and this ridiculous company charged me!!! I appealed but it fell on deaf ears and I can only advise that people stay away from the McDonalds branch there or you would be paying an unnecessary fine!!!
Disabled Parking
We parked in a disabled space in the Peel Centre in Stockport. My daughter is registered disabled, and we put her blue badge on the windscreen.
It didn't stop Ocean Parking issuing us with a ticket, which we appealed. Naturally, they refused the appeal.
I attempted to pay the charge online. I tried three different devices, and different browsers. In each case, I got the error message, "No Response". It doesn't look as though they monitor the website. One has to wonder whether they monitor it for security breaches either.
It took me several attempts to pay the fine by phone. The dialogue is ill-designed, and drops characters. It looks as though it was put together decades back, and has never been updated.
While the Peel Centre is an asset to a town that needs income, the parking management is a disincentive to using it.
If you see an ocean sign save yourself the issues and park elsewhere...yes even if you have to walk a bit
Paid £10 to park at the Radisson Hotel Blackpool for 24 hours, staff said that i can park in any space that doesn't have an NHS badge holder only marking, received a PCN from ocean telling me i exceeded maximum stay time having been there for 16hr:37m.
Appeal in progress.
It would appear that crime can be legitimised if you just set up a parking company.
Been on the phone this morning to the staff at the hotel who appear to be sick of hearing about oceans antics.
NEVER EVER use Ocean Parking
NEVER EVER use Ocean Parking. It's a SCAM. Absolutely disgusting practices are being carried out; they direct you where to park for event parking (we were at a gig at O2 Academy in Manchester) and then send you a £100 fine after paying £20 to park. I have a company vehicle so my employers paid the fine and Ocean Parking state "either pay or appeal" meaning there is no direct course of action for a refund as this has been paid. This in my opinion is nothing short of criminal behaviour.
Scum company
Scum company. We got a fine for being 13 minutes over the paid parking ticket. Baring in mind this is from the second we entered and drove out of the car park so no time allowed to park and get two children in car seats safely in and out of the car. Also I wasn't the driver which if they check their cctv they'll see a male driving.
Do not pay these scammers ..let them…
Do not pay these scammers ..let them take you to court and you will win and also receive your expenses ..easy money ..most of the time they don't even turn up
If only I could rate 0 stars!!
If only I could rate 0 stars!!! I received a parking fine whilst donating to a charity shop. £100 fine for less than a 5 minute stop to unload children’s toys and clothes. Absolutely disgusting. Should be shut down. I hope the staff feel proud of themselves stopping future donations to children in need of support!
Scam! Avoid
Will give people tickets randomly even if you have paid and have proof.
Will send a copy and pasted response to all appeals (mine had someone else’s car details on it- they couldn’t be bothered to change that)
They will not look at clear evidence to prove you parked correctly
You will have to go through an independent appeals process to appeal the car park
Honestly just pay a few quid extra and park somewhere that isn’t operated by ocean parking
Not good
Been given a parking charge for a place with no ticket machine and very little signage
Complete scammers
Complete scammers, ticket ussues in error.
Unable to resolve and a system that doesn't work when you try to pay on the phone.
This company needs to be closed for malpractice.
