Online was great but in store wasn’t good. I went to the cashier and requested my order and an employee went to the stock room. They were gone for 15 minutes and I had to ask another staff member who was standing idle at the till the entire time to check if there was an issue. Absolutely disgraceful service from OFFICE Shoes. They received my Yodel return on the 17th of June. Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations), they are legally required to issue a refund within 14 days. Instead, they held onto my money for 23 calendar days.I contacted their live chat three separate times. Each time, I was completely ignored and brushed off with the excuse that they "couldn't physically find the parcel" in their own warehouse. It is not the customer's job to wait while a retailer fixes their own chaotic warehouse mismanagement.They left me with no choice but to open a formal bank dispute and submit a chargeback evidence form to HSBC just to force my money back.To top off this appalling experience, they finally issued a partial refund today but short-changed me by £2.95 without any explanation or apology. They broke the law by delaying my refund, wasted hours of my time, and then stole £2.95 from the total balance. Avoid this company at all costs, their online customer service is non-existent.

Placed an order and got way past the delivery date so I got in touch with customer services who then informed me the item was out of stock and they were waiting to see ‘if’ they were coming back in stock. No communication on the matter until I raised the concern to which I requested a refund. The order should have been cancelled and a refund processed as soon as the item was out of stock and it should not have let me purchase! At what point would I have been told and refunded?
