Received a "Thank You For Signing Up" email for Office Depot's "Business Select" program. Folks this is a SCAM. Do not "sign into [your account or call ...]. Instead, file a consumer complaint with the FTC as well as here on Trustpilot. Do not email them. Do not accept calls. Let's shut this down. Important: If you have ever ordered anything from them using your credit card contact the issuing bank now to put them on alert. Time is of the essence. Do not play games with this outfit. Put them out with the trash A.S.A.P.
Update: Just received a new email from this outfit. "Dear Valued Office Depot Customer,
You may have inadvertently received an email in the last 24 hours indicating you started a free trial membership in the Office Depot OfficeMax Business Select program. The email was sent in error, and we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion it caused. We want to assure you that if you did not actively enroll in Business Select, you are not enrolled in the program, nor will you be charged an enrollment fee. Bad software and cust svc
I suddenly got a welcome email for signing up for "Business Select" when I did not. Immediately contacted but no one picks up the chat. Seems they need better software coding.
Shipping charge and fail to deliver as scheduled.
On 18-Jan-24 purchased a glass floor mat ordered in store. Charged $79.99 delivery. Later checked charge on line it was $29.99.
Delivery was scheduled for Jan. 30th. Now Feb. 2nd. and still waiting. Never again will I purchase anything from Office Depot

Would give a zero if I could. Office Depot have been awful to work with, internal processes are complicated and messy, they haven't been able to get their invoicing system right and the whole thing feels scammy and terrible. Would NOT recommend using this company to fulfil orders of any kind.

The worst ever experience! Buyer beware they don’t stand behind there product - purchased a computer and 2 weeks later not working… Office Depot didn’t want to know rude staff manager useless in Charlotte NC .. Had to send to HP no computer for 6 weeks! Way to stand behind your customer Office Depot! Never never by electronics at oodice depot it’s a 2 week return which is absolutely pathetic.

They say NEXT BUSINESS DAY DELIVERY but it doesn't come the next day. It takes 2-3 days. They tell you that to get your business then do not stand behind it and just "Sorry". They suck! I will never order from them again.
NOT suitable for outside use, despite claim
Despite the website description claiming that this banner is suitable for temporary outside use, it lasted less than 4 hours outside the first time I ever used it. Ink ran and looks awful. In-store personnel were difficult to deal with and unfriendly, in my opinion. Customer service listened to my complaint, but did not stand by their product and gave the store discretion as far as a refund, even though I called to complain about the store. I did not feel there was any real attempt, in-store or online, to help this customer. What a colossal waste of time and money. Would never recommend this product or the particular store I visited. And if this is how officedepot.com treats their customers, I could not recommend them either.
Chair Mat Warranty Scam
Their house brand “real space” of chair mat warranty is a scam. They call it limited lifetime, but require you to ship it back for review. Shipping of course would cost approx the cost of the mat. Just don’t offer the bogus (near fraudulent) warranty and make a customer feel scammed. I will do my best to buy all office products elsewhere. Over a stupid chair mat. Bad idea, bad company. P.S. 14OCT2023 Went to Office Depot #3379 Okemos MI to have least cost, simple printing onto business cards.
The first guy told me $11.99 for 50. He loaded up the words from my USB, sized it so it fit the card perfectly and showed me on the screen. He added a quotation mark, incorrectly. In a friendly way I asked him if he was doing the design for me. He seemed offended.
Then he said there is a design fee (we're all sensitive to hidden fees). I asked about that since it fits perfectly and he already said $11.99. I wanted to know why the design fee, and if I could do the “design” on Avery and bring it in. He then left, saying he didn’t have time for this. Although it was only 4PM.
As I kept waiting I called the store to say the person that was helping me left. Lady arrived in ~ten minutes, saying the other knowledgeable printing person would arrive in about ten minutes. Finally the knowledgeable guy arrives and says it’s not a design fee, it has to do with setup and the like. Ok, I can handle that, although a scam fee since I was told the cost already. I asked for the price, he said it’s $1.25 a minute. But he could not tell me the total cost because the setup time was not known.
Bottom line: I wanted 50 simple, least expensive business cards. Could not give me the price. I asked how anyone could commit without knowing the price. With disdain I was ostensibly dismissed.
Both people assisting me were insolent. Was not a pleasant experience. Left without the cards. Advice, when this is seen at the top layer you can bet there are compromised services underneath. Don’t shop here. We won't.

I ordered a printed manual and order to keep the size of the images I submitted. It turned out they were too small. I spent another $100 and got the fit to paper size thinking that the images would be enlarged to fit the paper...that is what the icon shows when you click on it, the IMAGES are enlarged. When I received the second manual, it was exactly the same as the first. Their explanation was the white space on my page is included in that "fit to paper" and "keep size" and "fit to paper" would be the same. Why even have two options then? Why have icons that show the IMAGES would be larger in "fit to paper"?! It is completely deceiving. Now I am out of a $100 for another completely unusable item. Needless to say, office depot/office max will not receive anymore of my business and I will be sure to spread the word about my experience to others.

Terrible customer service by store manager. Poor quality print yet won’t admit their mistake. Do not recommend.
Possibly the worst customer experience from the store manager this afternoon. We needed booklets on short notice for tomorrow, but when we picked up the booklets all the white colors across the brochure were VERY off and there were white lines on the corners of every page.
The above issues weren’t shown in the computer preview and we even called before ordering to confirm that the preview was what we could expect the booklet to look like.
Not only was the print quality far from good, the store manager was extremely rude — the lady who serviced us was kind enough to offer a full refund and sent us home with the order because we had no choice but to use these booklets for tomorrow.
The store manager yelled at us as we walked out with the boxes saying “what are you doing?! I can’t let you take that?”. He was probably going to throw out the booklets anyway.
He then proceeded to argue that the messed up white color was that way because “we provided poor quality photos”. This statement we know is untrue because the lady at the print desk who helped us had told us that the store has been experience printer issues, so this error can happen.
So we ended up having to pay for half of the order ($150). We initially upgraded the text and paper quality but this print quality was far from what we expected.
Our business pride itself on high quality products and this print job destroys our brand image. But we had to pay for the booklets and use them anyway cuz of the store’s mistake and unwillingness to admit or rectify it.
Do not recommend going to this store, and now that I’m looking at previous reviews, can understand why.
