Official iPhone Unlock 

I hoped for the best after reading the reviews here & was happy to pay the initial £14.99 where they said it could be unlocked. So once I received that message I believed my phone would be unlocked & paid extra for the 24 hour service.

24 hours later no updates until 3 days later saying my phone is blocked or in contract & can’t unlock unless I pay extra for a premium service.

What is a premium service going to do that I haven’t already paid for?

Then they give me a link to check the IMEI which says it’s reported as lost. Well I’m using the phone on that service provider so it’s not been lost.

Then I check the IMEI in other searches & it comes up clean, not lost.

I’m writing this here for others as you may think everything is ok like I did only to find out after you keep paying money as you have received messages saying it’s can be unlocked. Only to find out it can’t be & maybe it can if you pay for a ‘premium’ service.

I will make a chargeback claim if you don’t either unlock my phone or refund my money.

Already contacted the customer service email address as your standard reply to every bad review in here.

So please don’t bother to copy/paste your usual response, below.

UPDATED September 11th - same copy/paste reply that they always do which I requested not to do as I’ve already contacted that service.

I’ve advised I’m ok to forego the initial £14.99 but the rest I’m not so please refund or I will make a CHARGEBACK claim for the FULL AMOUNT.

I can not believe these people still trade. I had a run in with them a few years ago and had to use Charge Back from my bank to get the money returned. They fail to communicate then became very rude when I suggested they were a scam because they hide their true identity and fail to publish a real address. They then wanted more £££ to unlock because the phone I had owned outright and used on EE for 2 years was less than 6 months old. Avoid at all costs. I also suspect the 1 review wonders giving 5* are fake. TrustPilot should investigate.

Make a fool of people! After paying for the unlock of my IPAD, I received a message that it was necessary to provide a check or contact with a previous user. If I had this data, then why would I pay for this dubious service?
And if this data is not available, I still have to pay extra! Naturally, I did not do this! I will seek a refund by protesting the transaction through the bank.

Watch out for the hidden cost they don’t tell you the true price until later in the process 14.99 to £58 would have been cheaper to get O2 to unlock not gone ahead with process as I don’t trust them anymore having read the reviews.

It has been over thirty days and the phone is still not unlocked. I have sent emails and have had no reply!! Very poor customer service!!

I already sent an email and you haven't replied. Looks like your general reply to everyone and they all say you do not reply to the email.

Once again OfficialiPhoneUnlock unlocked my iPhone!!!
This time the unlocking process took time, almost a 8 days and also the final price which was quoted was higher then last time, it would have been worth it if was unlocked in 2 days with that price.

I have purchased an unlocking service on 27th of March. My phone is still locked.
I’ve emailed them few times and I’ve got the same answer: there are delays and your phone will be unlocked. Never said when will be unlocked.
They promised that my phone will be unlocked in 30 days, up to 90 days.
There are more than 150 days and my phone is not unlocked.
I’ve paid over £100.

This is a simple and easy way of unlocking any phone. The website did not always display all the order information while you were progressing through the process. The initial pre-order costs £14.99 + vat £3 and an additional cost were not made clear in my opinion so I was surprised when I received an e-mail stating my initial application had gone through but I had to pay an additional £29.50. However I e-mailed this company and recurved a swift reply. They agreed a discount as I felt this was misleading. The process was then completed within 24hrs which I think was quick over s weekend period. I would recommend the company but be sure of the costs before you proceed.

Beware. Initial payment is not refundable. If they cannot unlock they will not tell you until weeks of you chasing them. Happened to me.

It is not clear up front that you have to pay twice for this service once to request the unlock and again at a much higher price to get the unlock finished. On top of that it is not until your "device is unlocked" that you see some of the possible issues. Although I paid for my device through Verizon I can only guess from the only option left on the "Problems with your unlock?" section of the message you get AFTER everything is finished is that I somehow have a "lost/stolen" device...that's never been lost and is in my name as well as paid off. Honestly from my perspective even after doing every step in the troubleshooting and having a verified sim card and paying for this unlock is that I paid nearly $70 for absolutely nothing at all.

I do not recommend this service at all, just go to your carrier and request an unlock through them. It will likely be cheaper and actually work. Because I can't even get a refund for a service that did not work this review is the best warning I can give to anyone...also they refund like $5 for reviews so...yeah, I am just trying to get some of that wasted money back.

Phone was unlocked with no problem. Took slightly longer than 24-48 hours quoted (4 days) but was updated at every part of the process via email.

Totally false advertising they claim the price to be much lower than it is just to 'ready' your phone for unlock which for some reason costs £17.99 then when they're actually going to unlock it they ask for another £29.50 which is way over what it costs to unlock the phone that I did which was referenced against other websites and shops. Took three days for unlock when it said 24 hours express and they didn't reply to any of my emails I sent questioning pricing and say they clearly label the second payment when actually it's buried in ts and cs. Not giving one star because the phone actually unlocked but other than that I would.

Terrible company tried to take another payment from my bank account without me authorising it and now it's classed as fraud the company report every bad review about them and don't tell you about hidden costs got my phone unlocked for £20 in my local phone repair shop this company take advantage of there customers bad practice and trading standards will be getting involved.

Do not do business with this less than honest company. I’ve paid almost $200 US, and they’ve yet to unlock, no responses to emails, no numbers to call. Don’t waste your money or time.

Update: received email stating phone was blacklisted which isn’t the case. I am only owner of phone since it was released. Vouchers for their service was offered, but what good is that when the first experience was less than honest.

They have hidden prices! Unlocking IPhone is £14.99 in their Web but after putting your details it becomes £17.99, if you accept that price and pay after few hours you get an email from them saying you have to pay £29.99 or your iPhone will not be unlocked! in the email it says even if you pay all these fees still will need to unlock i cloud which will be another fees!, no wonder why they don't have PayPal.

AVOID AVOID AVOID took my money (£100) told me it was taking longer than normal ”some were taking over 90 days” was the update and that it had been sent to their iPhone unlockers - that was on February 8 2019. Have emailed them several times but same reply every time “ when phone is unlocked they will contact me". They don’t even have the decency to answer my emails anymore which says it all really. They also told me the phone (MY PHONE) was reported stolen A TOTAL LIE!!
HAVE ASKED FOR A REFUND BUT THEY ARE TOO BUSY SPENDING OTHER PEOPLES MONEY TO BOTHER REPLYING
ITS VERY EASY TO HIDE BEHIND AN EMAIL ADDRESS AND EVEN EASIER TO SUPPLY A TELEPHONE NUMBER WITH A RECORDED MESSAGE SAYING THE OFFICE IS CLOSED.
