Exceeded my expectations by far!
I was looking for gifts for my bridesmaids and went with this company to create my bracelets, they were personalised with our wedding date and names. When they arrived so exceeded my expectations by far, really stunning, amazing quality and really well presented. I know I was a little fussy but the customer service was faultless and I received within a week which I thought was great for personalised products. I would highly recommend. I going to come back and get my guestbook from there too!

I happily cancelled your order. I did receive your email and I responded super speedily. My mess up was I accidentally sent your order out after you requested it to be cancelled. I emailed straightaway, apologised profusely and said, please do keep the product and I have refunded you as well of course.
I then oddly receive an array of abusive, rude, rather vile emails!
I made the decision to step away and didn’t communicate further as it seemed very odd behaviour. I really didn’t think this kind of language was appropriate in any situation let alone this one. I’ve run Oh So Cherished for over 18 years and I can quite honestly say they were the worst emails that I’ve had pop into my inbox.
I always, always hold my hands up and take responsibility if I mess up. I’m not 100% perfect, know one is. But I will work tirelessly hard to sort out a situation so my customers go away super happy and content.
But, on this occasion I’m so sorry, I just can’t bring myself to sit back and accept the above review without calling you out on your approach and your behaviour. I can also see I’m not the only company you have done this to.
Please just try to remember…Kindness is free.

Last week was my husband’s 70th birthday and as a surprise gift, his cousin ordered an engraved crystal glass. She requested it to be engraved with “1953 limited edition” … well, it arrived late and it did not have the full wording engraved - it only had “1953”. We now have to parcel it up, take to the post office and return it … all a palaver when it was sent as a special gift! This company spoiled what was to be a special surprise and they are not at all bothered by it. Surely they can simply send a replacement with the engraving as originally ordered, along with an apology for getting the order completely wrong. I cannot recommend ordering from them.

What an absolute rip off
What an absolute rip off. Ordered a personalised chess set they advertise as made in England it’s made in China. It’s a piece of cheap rubbish which I’ve now found you can buy the exact one for £10. Which means they’ve charged me £20 for personalising it. The photos make it look lovely it’s not. I’m reporting them NOTHS shouldn’t let them on their site. FUMING 😡 DONT USE.

Do not ever buy from them. I am getting married in August and ordered a wedding book from them. It arrived but was marked on the front. I complained and I was told to clean it myself. I was totally aghast at the customer service and now all I want is a refund but they are now not responding. So if you are getting married do not use this company

We are very sorry that you feel this way. As mentioned in our correspondence on Not on the High Street, due to the nature of engraving leather, sometimes residue from the laser burning into the leather can be deposited on the cover but this can be simply wiped away using a light product such as spray polish or even antibacterial gel. It is a process we have been using in our studio for years and works perfectly and instantly, with no damage to the leather at all.
We also said we were more than happy to fix your book for you and even provided a FREEPOST for you to send it back to us to make perfect again, but unfortunately, you chose not to take us up on this offer, nor to give the book a wipe yourself. At that point there really wasn't much more we could do, I'm afraid. The last correspondence in that original conversation, is actually from us reminding you of the Freepost label that was attached in order for you to return the book to us, but we heard nothing back from you after that.
Birth flower seed set
I recently purchased the birth flower seed set for my partner including gift packaging for £38.95 ....and on receipt of said item I'm bitterly disappointed and feeling extremely ripped off .The seeds can be purchased from the £1 shop ...the plant pot etc £5 at best ...how can you possibly charge such an extortionate price for such a small item .The packaging unfortunately was the best part of this gift ...sorry but I don't like to be ripped off !!

We would honestly love to know, as the last thing we want is to leave anyone feeling disappointed with anything they have purchased from us. We try our best to make it super clear on all of our product listings, just exactly what is included with every product, along with photos to show exactly what you will receive and how it will look once it's in your hands. We feel with our Birth Flower Seed Box set, this is all laid out very clearly in the product listing.
While we agree that you may be able to buy the individual components elsewhere for less, it is not just the products that are purchased when choosing to order from a personalised gifting company, it is the time taken to design, engrave, assemble & dispatch your item and we cannot possibly compete with larger, corporate companies on pricing. We are a small business with a very personal and hands-on approach. All of our products are made & assembled in-house by ourselves, no automation whatsoever. We feel that this is part of our charm, as you are not purchasing from a big faceless Corporation, you are buying from and supporting, a small business with a personal touch.
We take all feedback very personally and seriously, as we put ourselves into each and every order and genuinely want every customer to be happy with anything they order from us. I really hope that this experience doesn't deter you from supporting small businesses moving forward.

I am very sorry that the mother's day gift purchased by your son was not well received, this is one of our top selling products, so I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the gift. The listing did clearly state what was contained within the order so your son would have been aware of what he was purchasing at the time of placing an order.
While you may be able to buy these products elsewhere for less, it is not just the products that are purchased when choosing to order from a personalised gifting company, it is the time taken to design, engrave and assemble your item and we cannot possibly compete with larger, corporate companies on pricing.
We have spoken with you directly and Not On The High Street regarding your comments, and have confirmed that we would happily refund all non-personalised aspects of the product on return of the item, but we have not had any response from you.
I really hope that this doesn't deter you from supporting small businesses moving forward.
YET TO RECEIVE ITEM
Purchased an item due from this company due to the promise of delivery on that week. Over a period of two months, I revived multiple emails saying the delivery was delayed. I eventually asked for a refund which I had no reply from the company. I am yet to receive any refund or item from this company.
