Although we do our best to provide good coverage on our network, it is unfortunately not always possible to achieve broad coverage in all areas. There can be several factors that affect the quality of coverage, such as terrain, the number of transmission masts or the distance to the nearest mast.

In your case, it could indicate that the mast is overloaded in the evening hours due to high activity. There are some settings you can make on the router, which we could try out.

Great service, setup with eSIM and pricing

Great service and super easy setup with the free eSim. Perfect solution for me and great that I easily can manage everything online. Customer support gave great help as well when I needed it.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR DATA ROAMING WHEN OUTSIDE EU

After a questionable charge of 531.2DKK for having my data roaming on by default on a new phone while landing in Switzerland and India, a first fail with the website's customer service, and writing a bad review here, I was then contacted by Sofie from Oister's trustpilot customer service, which has been the most professional and understanding assistant. She helped me with my case and managed to restore my trust on the Company.

I also learned important lessons: never lose your hope and always double check data roaming when Outside EU!

Like the airlines, we always recommend that you put your phone on airplane mode or turn off your phone completely, so that you don't get an unpleasant surprise with incorrect charges. But of course we also know that this sort of thing can easily slip away or there may be a situation where you have to use your phone.

Something that pulls data could be, for example, notifications from Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc. If you therefore have data roaming activated on your phone while you are outside the EU, you will automatically be connected to a foreign cell tower, and will be charged for any usage.
SMS and calls do not use data in the same way as if you surf the internet.

We offer free telephony in the EU, and since Switzerland is not part of the EU/EEA, we do not offer free telephony in this particular country.

I have just moved all the family over…

I have just moved all the family over to Oister and my sons mobile has had no connections for days. I have tried to ring oister to sort it out, only to sit in a phone queue for hours..... this is not very good :(

I can't immediately see that you have been in contact with us at all.
I have just taken a look at your OiSTER Account and can see that there has been consumption on the subscription a few days after the number moved to OiSTER. Therefore, it appears that the subscription is currently working.

When it comes to coverage, there will unfortunately be areas where we do not cover quite as widely. There can be various factors that play into this, such as terrain, a lower number of masts or the distance to the mast.

However, you can try to switch on data roaming on your mobile if you have not already done so, which gives you access to use 3's roaming partner, and will possibly catch a better signal.

I think we must take a look into this more closely, so that we can ensure that a similar scenario does not occur again - as it is in no way an appropriate experience.

I'm kindda of new customer (only a few…

I'm kindda of new customer (only a few months), but I can say that the internet is the best!. I life in the countryside and was paying an expensive fiber net that was problematic, disconnecting all the time. I changed to OiSTER cuz I though: if it is as bad as fiber net at least I am paying half. But it is strong, fantastic and we only bought 1 router. I recommend it 100 %

Super duper 😀

I have never experienced Any problems with them. Even when payment is slightly late they send a friendly reminder pr. SMS without making you Pay expensive fee's. Also they send u friendly reminders if you Are close to exceeding your download limits. The price is very affordable too. Customer service is tip top too. Nothing bad to say.

Go somewhere else!
I've had calls to EU charged, although my subscription very clearly included calls to EU.
First time, customer "service" returned to money, after many increasingly sternly worded emails. Second time they refused in the exact same scenario.

Luckily, the Danish tele market has a lot of operators who are happy to take over cancellations etc.
The Danish "Teleankenævn" is by the way where you go and submit a complaint for charges not in your contract.

It is correct that we offer EU-roaming telephony in our subscriptions. However, it works so that it is free to use your phone when you are abroad. That measn when you are in the EU, you can freely use your phone as if you were at home on a Danish network.

When you are in the EU, you can use SMS, MMS, calls and data for free.
What is not included in your subscription is sending SMS and making calls from Denmark to European phone numbers. Therefore, you will be charged for this kind of usage.

Great mobile company

Great mobile company! Never had problems with them.... Always kind and helpful..... I tried some companies before.... Oister it is the best! Good quality of sound, great covering all over Denmark and very cheap..... I pay 89 Dkk for free talking and 40 GB..... Very cheap.... I will never move from OISTER. All my family having Oister and they are super happy. Thank you Oister.

Sometimes simcards can get lost in the mail, and we apologize many times, if that was the reason.

unfortunately we have slightly longer waiting times, especially at the beginning of the month, but the last week, our response time has been between 0-10 minutes.

If you do not receive your SIM card after 5 working days, simply contact customer service and we will of course send a new SIM card immediately.

We also offer eSIM, which can be ordered free of charge on our website, so you don't have to wait for a SIM card.

You don’t hire Oister

Don't make the bad decision to hire Oister!
We have done so and regret it greatly!
The new Oister sim card was supposed to be sent to us and never arrived. We no longer have service with the other phone company and no longer have service with Oister.
When you try to contact customer service and no one answers, the phone number doesn't work, and they respond to emails with DAYS of delay!
Really if you have a problem no one can help you!
Do not hire OISTER! I warn you so you don't have the hard time we are having!

When we send a SIM card, it is sent with PostNord. Their delivery time is 2-5 working days. If the SIM card has not arrived within 5 working days, we encourage you to contact our customer service and point out that the SIM card has not arrived.

I will grant you that there is sometimes a bit of a wait to get in contact with our customer service by phone. It is typically busiest at the beginning of a new month.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, I ma part of the 50% of customers that find this company despicable. 1 star is too generous. I agree with the others that the customer service and the waiting time is horrible & you wait 30 minutes to be told that it is Post Nord fault that they have not send you a SIM card. Basically you pay your subscription and do not have a working phone and the only thing they can do is to say sorry, but you still have to pay, even if you do not have a phone???Not to mention that they close at 15:30 on Friday, and rest on Saturdays, when it is a services working day!
