Easy and efficient booking
We got to this web site when we booked the airport shuttle on eoliebooking.com, and we used it to book our ferries to and from the Aeolian Islands. Both web sites were very efficient and quick, with all the timetables and other info clearly displayed, good English, and no problems making the booking and receiving the tickets by email.

Not credit card friendly
The listing of the available ferries and times is great!
Attempted to book ferry tickets using the credit card option and when I got to the final screen it said the credit card was not successful. Did this twice. On the 3rd attempt I used PayPal and it worked fine. Now I have 2 reservation numbers that I don't need.
Also, could not find an option to add additional luggage.

my first experience with booking a ferry ticket
It went very quickly. No issue.
The only inconvenience is that the ticket does not constitute a boarding pass. So we have to get to ferry 30mins before for boarding pass.

Website is extremely difficult to use
The Website is extremely difficult to use. I spent 1 1/2 hours on my mobile phone trying to make a reservation with no luck. I kept receiving a message during my booking indicating my credit card couldn’t be charged, each time loosing all the information I had entered. Then, a short time later while checking my email, I found I had received 8 emails indicating I still needed to make a payment for my reservation or that my credit card was being charged for the reservation amount. This came as a complete surprise since there wasn’t any indication during my futile attempt at making the reservation that it had actually been recorded in the system. Oh well, I hope I don’t get charged for each of the 8 reservations I supposedly booked (BTW, each of the reservations had a different confirmation number).
