Can’t recommend the shop enough

Ordered two books - came well packed.

Jo was fantastic during the ordering one was for the book banned by Amazon and the other a replacement of my copy of 1984 but with the redacted cover

Can’t recommend the shop enough

A fitting tribute to Ronald Creasy…

I have not visited as yet but have perused the X page of this business
I look forward to visiting in person with my nephew Oswald and our Doberman Eva.
I will be looking for some coffee table books of Leni Riefensthal photographs and trust I will not be disappointed.
I eagerly anticipate the charming owner telling anecdotes of her visit to the Lotus Eaters event in Swansea and how this had confirmed her long standing belief that Evelyn Waugh was right about the Welsh.

The website promotes anti Semitic and racist books of doubtful legality, and has a recommendation from Tommy Robinson, so not even trying to hide its far right credentials. Obviously not commercially viable, so presumably funded by someone, Something of a stain on lovely Long Melford. (and also very unwelcoming into the bargain!)

Very good bookshop down a quiet yard off the main market street. Bright and airy with comfy sofas for the downstairs coffee/wine/cakes and upstairs for the books with plenty of natural light. You'll find books no-one else stocks here; well worth a visit or available online if you can't make it.

Very helpful, excellent service, my ideology for a change

Jo has been very helpful, polite, and humourous in dealing with me and my bolshie union left-wing computer. The book I bought was posted the same day. It arrived very quickly (just for once Right Royal Fail got it right), was sensibly packed and nicely wrapped in tissue paper with a nice handwritten, personal note in it. The book is as described. Will be using again as this appears to be the only UK bookshop for the 50% that aren't lefties (hello Waterstone's, Blackwell's, etc).
