Charged for things not carried out
Took my ATV in before Christmas to have work done on it. Electric starter, re-tap sparkplug port, new front tyres & a service. Was told I should get it back before Christmas. Never happened.
£1,100 later and I got it back in the New Year. It started OK however, when I took it for a run of about 1/2 mile, it conked out. Wouldn't start. Seemed like it was flooding. Did restart after a while, but only to run for another 1/2 mile. Tried choke on/off etc. Checked the airbox and noticed the filter was not new. Checked my invoice and had been charged £20 for a new filter. After many emails & texts asking for a refund or a filter, I was sent a filter in the post. Doesn't fit thought. Have contacted Ollie ATV again on email & text, but still no reply.
Also since noticed the estimate for the work was to remove the head to re-tap the sparkplug hole, but appears that no new gasket is fitted and the bolts for the head are untouched.
Summary.... Communication is slow and get charged for things that have not been done.
