Deep Bathtub 1500 L x 800 W x 600 Soaking Depth Handmade by Omnitub.
The 1500 Long x 800 Wide Deep Bathtub from Omnitub is in many cases the premium and suited deep bath for most installed environments.
It’s not too long that you will slide down it but it’s long enough to straighten your legs if that’s at the top or near the top of your goal list for your Deep Bathtub. Furthermore it’s amazing to shower over with most of the water coming off of the body hitting the side of the tub and not the screen or parting walls, depending on how you’re installing your 1500 Long Deep Bathtub.
The 1500 Long x 800 Wide Deep Bathtub can be installed in the following;
Free Standing
Along One Wall
Inside Three Walls (Long Side Exposed)
Inside Three Walls (Short Side Exposed)
Within Two Walls (Corner)
Undercounted (Finished Material Over The Tub such as Tiles/Marble/Stone)
Below Ground (Rare in general, but when used for commercial and outdoors it’s more common, under decking for example).
The internal width is superb and just that much wider than other deep bathtubs, so it doesn’t look awkward on the eye and instead fits exceptionally well even in the smaller of soaking spaces.
It’s used as a generous one person soaking tub or a two person soaking tub. The space inside really is something special.
The waste hole Is located centrally at the bottom of the tub which makes it suited to be used as a one or a two person soaking tub. It also makes it easy to visually place the overflow on any one of the four sides of the tub. Generally the most popular order of placing the overflow on this tub would be;
Side A (100mm)
Side B or C (75mm)
Side D (75mm)
This is currently currently the only size we manufacture with another version which has 100mm on Side B. You can view it by touching here.
A few summary points to consider;
The overflow can be drilled on any of the four sides — choose your side in the studio and we'll core it for you before dispatch, or drill it on site with our guide. There is a section on how to drill an overflow into the tub in the full technical & information guide which can be found on this page. Don’t worry, an Omnitub is very easy to drill into, remember there is no bowing, bulging or flexing in an Omnitub so there’s no risk of the tub cracking when drilling an overflow into the tub.
The installed height depends on the installed environment. Most commonly the Omnitub is installed between 625mm and 750mm. For more information on installed height please refer to the full technical & information guide.
The Omnitub can be trimmed to fit within a smaller space. For more information on trimming an Omnitub please refer to the full technical & information guide.
Steps are subjective and certainly not essential. Most Omnitub’s are installed without a step. If the space permits then there’s no issue in installing a step but again, it’s certainly not an essential.
The width requirement for your doorways is 630mm. Whilst an Omnitub Feet Kit is included with your order, they are removed for shipping and to make it easier to get through your property and into the space where it’s going to be installed.

Finish — Hand-Polished or Matte
Every Omnitub is hand-polished to a deep, reflective finish as standard — a step above a sprayed gloss, with the colour cast right through the Omnigel rather than painted on. Prefer a softer, contemporary look? Choose Matte : a separate hand-finishing process applied after the polished build, giving a fine, low-sheen surface with the colour still cast through the Omnigel. As an additional hand-finishing stage, Matte adds around 5 working days to your build and 25% to the price.

Handmade in Britain. This tub is handmade in our Somerset workshop — made by people, not production lines. The mould is handmade in our own factory, the shell is hand-laid layer by layer in our Omnigel built-up system, and every tub is inspected and signed off by the maker before it leaves. Verified Made in Britain — never imported.
