Disgusting

Disgusting, heartless money grabbers! Don’t deserve the one star! Parking ticket issued for a 3 minute stop to drop off at a charity shop following my mums death and having to clear her home of all her possessions We don’t live in the area, had no prior experience of the car park and had a transit van and no parking spaces were available apart from disabled bays. Already a distressing and difficult time and appealed to One Parking Solutions even sending a copy of the death certificate. My comments were completely disregarded and they upheld the fine. Absolutely shocking that they can get away with daylight robbery. Completely insensitive, unhelpful and greedy cowboys! Check out the frequent name changes on Companies house and the different businesses the directors are involved with! Thieving b******s!

Frequent name changes that speaks to their reputation!

A review of this entity via Companies House reveals a pattern of 'phoenixing' or frequent name changes that speaks to their reputation. Their latest error involves charging a disabled badge holder £100 for a transient stop that does not constitute 'parking.' The refusal of my appeal via a standard template confirms a failure to consider the specific facts of the case. I am now escalating this to the IAS, where I will be seeking a formal dismissal based on the lack of a 'contractual meeting of minds' during a temporary pause.

Disgusting people

Disgusting people. Charging local members an extortionate amount for parking at their local shop that has been free and convenient for years. Scum of the earth.

EVIL COMPANY RUN BY COWARDS

EVIL COMPANY RUN BY COWARDS WHO HATE UNI STUDENTS. I went in for a 15 minute meeting at University (which I commute 90 minutes for) - only to come back to a ticket. The ticket officer was horrible when I asked for some common sense to be used. The car park was EMPTY and it’s UNI HOLIDAYS - go and ticket people in the city centre will you - absolute low life!

Awful

Awful. Deliberately stealth parking fines. This is 100% about fleecing the public. No common sense. Slightly out of bat while waiting in the car for a couple of minutes. £100 fine in post 2 weeks later. Disgusting.

Horrible company

Horrible company! I think this company hire mentally illness people!
We work as gardeners on several properties, and they sent us a fine. I called and explained that we work on these properties. They replied, "Send me an email with an explanation." The insane person I spoke with said, "I can't see anything in the system. This is the company's policy. I don't have to tell people anything." I received an automated response saying that we don't respond to emails and will simply send everything to the collectors.
DONT DEAL WITH THEM!

Disgraceful company

Got a parking fine through the post of this disgraceful company you try and appeal and ups it's already been appealed. You try to contact so you can appeal oh you can't contact them what other company do you know that doesn't have a contact number oh yes independent parking contractors. If the council put a ticket or send you a fine you can at least speak with someone. This to me is theft. I was only doing my job delivering it's ok the residents will soon complain when they don't get there parcels because I certainly won't be delivering on any of there grounds from now on disgusting

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company. The so-called appeals process is nothing more than a box-ticking exercise and a complete waste of time.

I received a ticket in my own flat’s car park, in a visitor bay, on the weekend I was moving in. I was actively loading and unloading my car and hadn’t yet received a permit, which is hardly surprising given I had moved in the day before.

I appealed and provided clear evidence, including insurance documents registered to me showing my change of address the day before the ticket was issued. Despite this, they dismissed the appeal as “insufficient evidence” and are now trying to squeeze £60 out of me.

There is zero compassion, zero common sense, and no human judgment involved, just a greedy system designed to penalise residents rather than protect them. A thoroughly disappointing and predatory experience.

Unbelievable!!!!!

Unbelievable parked in a disabled bay with my father who had severe Alzheimer's and was in a wheelchair and these cowboys have sent me two different £100 fines . I sent them a email explaining the situation and they couldn't care less . No sorry for your loss as my father died a few days later just that they want two sets of £100 and it says on the letter we have got plenty more photos of your car as well . They sounded like a school playground bully . This surely isn't a real firm ??? Or is it . By the way one parking solutions you won't be seeing a penny so will see you in court and fight against a 89 year old man who was with me at the time and dead the next day and you still want £200 for two fines . See you in court . Will be sending this story to the daily mail tell them what one parking solutions are exactly like 🙏

They will take advantage in anyway possible

I received a parking fine in the post recently, and was very confused as to where I had illegally parked. When I went back through my calendar, and looking on the map I was able to trace it back to an extremely stressful evening, where I was asked to collect some emergency medication for my grandmother from a pharmacy. It was very close to the pharmacy closing time, and without that medication she would have been hospitalised. So I quickly parked and ran into the pharmacy to collect the medication, just catching them before closing. I genuinely, in my stress did not see the signs for private E-Permit parking. The letter for the fine, even states I was only parked for less than 4 minutes. They demanded £100. I appealed, informing them the medical situation I was in at the time and had no choice to avoid hospitalisation of my grandmother. Additionally I genuinely did not see the signs probably due to the stress I was under. They rejected the appeal, citing it was clear I knowingly parked there and they will not allow for any grace period. Completely unbelievable. I sincerely hope none of their family ever have an emergency and they make a genuine mistake. They took this opportunity to money grab from a vulnerable situation.

Machine at LLangrannog fault

Car park machine at LLangrannog in Wales did not type the full registration on my parking ticket, only the first letter. I paid for 6 hours but only stayed 3. I received a non payment/ticket letter so I appealed showing the ticket with the partial reg, explained that the machine didn't print off the full reg, also the payment receipt which is linked to my card. they rejected my appeal, even though it was their machine at fault!

Unbelievable

Unbelievable. Private parking this company is sending out penalties that fail basic legal standards, yet they expect compliance.

This isn’t about parking - it’s about intimidation and trying to squeeze unwarranted charges from people. These tactics are abusive and should face legal consequences.

Do not visit Llangrannog Beach Car Park

Do not park at Llangrannog Beach Car Park run by One Parking Solutions unless you have got £60 you want to throw down the drain. Park on the street, out of town and walk in or better still do not go there at all or give these cowboys your business. We had the misfortune of parking for an hour in Llangrannog using One Parking Solutions ticket machine which failed to issue a ticket but did take the money (as per my instant banking app record). We were subsequently issued with a parking charge. You would think however a screen shot of the banking app record would prove we acted in good faith, thought we had paid and would see the fine withdrawn. Far from it. The appeal was rejected so the message was pay up or face debt recovery or county court proceedings!! So, because their machine did not work a nice stop off in a lovely Welsh seaside village went from a £3.25 fee to a £60 charge. Not a good look for the village or Welsh hospitality. We shall not be visiting again.

I keep getting harrassed

I keep getting harrassed and threatening letters demanding payment. This is over an alleged parking breach of contract and I’ve already made it quite clear I’m happy to go to court so clearly and obviously trying to bully me to pay money before it gets to court as they probably know I will win as I always have done if it goes that far.

Misleading BPA AOS branding

At RH17 5PB I saw BPA “Approved Operator”-style branding on the physical signs, yet One Parking Solution operates under the IPC (appeals via IAS, not POPLA). In my opinion, this amounts to fraud by misrepresentation—it misleads drivers at the point of contract.

From my experience (and reading other reviews), IPC/IAS is not on the motorist’s side. Don’t expect help from that route. You’re better off defending in court if they issue a genuine County Court claim—courts are far more balanced than IAS.

My advice:

Photograph everything (signs, machines, app/receipts).

Verify the trade body and your appeal rights.

Don’t rush to pay—get independent advice first. They will more likely send ZZPS after you, all i did was simply reply stating the debt is denied, and your fees are not accepted. Take me to court.

If real court papers arrive, don’t ignore them—defend with your evidence.

I won’t use this operator again and strongly discourage others from parking at any of their sites. Just look at the other reviews!
