I've had two sim cards from OneSimCard for many years, each with a big balance, and multiple Personal Extra Numbers, but recently decided that it was time to consolidate down to one card. I had put it off for several weeks thinking that it would be a huge hassle. I finally decided it had to be done, and used the OneSimCard chat support to inquire how to consolidate the two SIM cards. To my shock, it was super easy, and the support team provided clear, easy instructions, and even checked-back at the end of the process to make sure I was satisfied. Great service, and the new Universal SIM works like a champ in a recently purchased (from Verizon) iPhone SE. You can't go wrong with OneSimCard!

I investigated a number of options that might have provided me with telephone and internet service during a recent European trip. I decided to purchase a international hotspot from OneSimCard and download their VOIP ap to my US smartphone. My decision was based on the excellent customer service provided by OneSimCard staff. Before my trip they patiently answered all my questions and helped me get my devices set up. During my trip both phone and hotspot worked perfectly. I was particularly pleased to have phone service when the person scheduled to pick me up at a French train station did not arrive as planned. I look forward to using my OneSimCard hotspot on future international trips, and I will continue to use the VOIP ap here in the US since I live in a region were my Verizon phone does not have universal coverage. I highly recommend OneSimCard to other overseas travelers.

I have used the OneSimCard for over 3 years. I use it for International Travel to areas that my domestic phone will not work. It took a bit of getting used to how it worked, but the support staff was very patient in getting me started. I am excited about the new Universal Sim Card as it will allow direct dial. I have already ordered it. I find it to be a great way for me to have an affordable way to call and text as I travel.
If the Universal Card works as well as they say, I would change this to 5 stars.

This service is terrible and the and borders on fraud. There is all kinds of fine print everywhere in their website that is impossible to fully read without enormous effort before you enroll. Numerous calls from the US to my personal extra number (PEN) did not go through. In a two week trip to Greece and Israel I had to contact tech/customer support eight times. In the iPhone there is a profile that gets installed that shows you the remaining balance on the account. It was showing a balance of $25.55 (after starting with $30) when a business call I was on was disconnected because of insufficient funds. I was told I had to activate the additional $20, I had already paid for, which I did, only to be told it was used up already when my call was disconnected, despite paying for $50.00 in data and voice service when I enrolled. I primarily used WhatsApp and I was using the OneSimCard voice VERY little during this trip. I still cant figure out what happened to the additional $20 that disappeared.
I should add that contrary to the response below, there is most definitely a profile that gets added into an iPhone and there is a feature in the profile that allows you to check your balance (which is apparently not accurate). I only know about this feature because one of the CSRs told me about it. BTW, I have been unable to remove their profile and install the one from my carrier since removing their sim card and replacing it with the my original one from my US carrier. I have spent many hours on the phone with Apple over the last day+ and the incident has been escalated to the Apple engineering department. I am still unable to connect to my data feed since I returned over 48 hours ago (though I do have voice and text).
I plan on disputing the entire charge with my credit card company!!

I purchased the card for my trip to Europe, and was never able to use it. I'd bought it so I could text with my family and friends (who live in France and Germany) and use the Internet when WiFi wasn't an option. Calling was still prohibitively expensive so I just wanted to use the text messaging function. The problem is, I wouldn't receive people's messages, no matter which provider they were on. They received mine, but I'd never get their response. I spent several hours of my vacation trying to figure it out with OneSimCard customer support, but their only response to my issue was to contact the providers of the French phone numbers (!). I randomly received texts from one person, once or twice, and then it would stop functioning. I told OneSimCard that the card was useless to me if I couldn't receive texts and would have to purchase another card that would allow me to both text and use the Internet. I asked to be refunded or at the very least for some compensation, but they refused on the grounds that the problem didn't come from them. They advertise their Europe card as functioning in France, and it didn't fully function. Their only solution was to have me spend more of my vacation on the phone with customer reps of other phone providers trying to have them figure out why each of my family members' phone numbers wasn't able to respond to my texts... Yeah. Crappy experience. Do not recommend the company.
poor value for money in every aspect! data packages are extremely expensive, so much so that it is cheaper to use the roaming on your US phone. The phones they sell with the Europe card are good for 2G and 3G when most of Europe is 4G and higher; the networks they use in Europe are the ones with poorest coverage and speed; don't do automatic refill or you will get an unpleasant surprise on your credit card; you have to register your phone and start your package before you leave the US otherwise you will not be able to use the phone when you arrive, You will have to find free wifi and pray. They are disorganized: I received the invoice for an order from Germany with my package; fly to Europe and buy a local card. It is so much cheaper and it works as long as you have a valid passport.

I have used OneSim for several years. This last trip I used a data package too. It worked well. What I would like to see added is an easy way to see how much data is used and notifications when it is getting low. Also the automatic recharge on data packages should be instantaneous with no lapse.
I had recommended my traveling companions use OneSim. One had an iPhone and had no problem. The other had an Android and found it difficult to get the phone set correctly. Maybe better instructions would help.

I purchased OneSimCard Europe based on the advertisement that incoming calls would be free in Europe. Less than two weeks later, when my daughter had just arrived in Europe, the incoming call rate for Switzerland changed from 0c per minute to 65c per minute, making this option totally unusable.
I paid US$30 for a card that cannot be used and OneSimCard refused to reimburse me despite the fact that the information they published was clearly known to them at the time. This company cannot be trusted. Buy a local SIM instead or use a more reliable company.
Had the WORST experience using OneSimCard. Firstly their website and product offerings are very confusing and unclear. I spent $100 buying a SIM and data package with expedited shipping for my trip. I checked to make sure the 5 countries I was travelling to were covered.
Then upon arriving my SIM stopped working in 3/5 countries I thought I was covered in. Customer service brushed this off by simply telling me I had purchased "the wrong sim card" and that the data package did not cover this. By the way, they have the same data packages for different sim cards at the SAME price which is really confusing and unclear.
So I was unable to use the SIM card in 3/5 countries I was travelling to.
Next I was informed the day before that my data package would expire the next day, when I asked for an extension from customer service, they brushed me off again, simply just saying "No" and overall being incredibly unhelpful.
This whole process has been nothing but confusing, frustrating and stressful during my travels. I had such high hopes for this product since I travel all the time. What a waste of money, terrible product, abysmal customer service. DO NOT BUY.
the quality of calls is simply horrible. It's a waste of money and time.
I had lost my SIM card and ordered a replacement but did it not work. I had used this company before all over Europe two years ago with no glitches. After the second call to customer service the problem was sorted just a setting on my phone! I was trying it locally but unware to me no carrier had 2G service in my area any longer! The reps were more than helpful and very patient with me as I am no phone tekie for sure. Great customer service, good reception of SIM. I will be traveling back to Europe and now have a reliable phone Ya Hoo!!
I travel internationally a lot, primarily for business, but also for vacations. It's vitally important that I always know that I can be reached, or reach out if I need to. I have a standard phone that is fine most of the time. The operational word there is "most." I've been in some dicey situations where my phone -- for whatever reason, often because of a lack of an agreement between my home carrier and the local carrier -- didn't work. That's never happened to me with my backup phone which has a OneSimCard SIM chip. It's incredibly reasonable in price, and has been totally reliable for me over the years. The other thing that I want to pass along is that their customer service is also deserving of 5 stars (maybe 6 stars, really.) Whenever I've contacted them, no matter what time of day or night, where I'm calling from or what the problem, they've always been great. They take the time to understand my issue, and stay with me until they can resolve it. An example: on one trip, my backup phone with the OneSimCard chip got accidently run over by a car. End of phone. But I pulled out the SIM chip, bought an inexpensive 4-band GSM phone from a nearby shop, and was back in business. They even traded the new but uncharged battery for the slightly older but fully charged one in their demonstrator phone. We both came out ahead. So bottom line, I haven't found a better way to have reliable and cost-effective global communications than OneSimCard, and I recommend them to you for your consideration.
I am a nervous traveler to start. Keeping in touch with home when I travel is very important to me. OneSimCard and their customer service rep Chris was more than helpful, and very knowledgeable of this product. The help Chris provided for this novice traveler was outstanding. OneSimCard customer service for me is 5 stars plus.
My main contact in dealing with my problem was Yury L. I am specifically completing this survey to commend Yury for the wonderful job he did. I have never in any other circumstance had as commendable service from a computer-based tech support function as I had with Yury. I told him, and hopefully now telling his supervisors, that in my experience he epitomizes what tech support should be. He was consistently timely with recommendations, always courteous, and constant with follow up to see if actions had resolved problems. The computer world of problem solving would be a much better place if all tech support staff were like Yury. Thanks again, Yury!!
I have used this service for several years now when traveling the globe. I find it very effective, reasonably priced and great service when I have a problem. It is easy to recharge online and my unused balance remains until I use it again. Great product!
They eliminate your account balance unless you recharge periodically. When I tried most recently, they rejected every credit card and my verified Paypal account, making it impossible to recharge. Then they basically said too bad, use your balance before it expires tomorrow. As far as I am concerned, they have become low-level scam artists. I should add that I had their service for several years before they started playing these games, maybe new management now, but in any case BEWARE. Giving these people credit card data is certainly inadvisable.
