DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE! WASTE OF MONEY - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Booked crash course with them had a few lessons instructor went on holiday didn't bother telling me, had 2 weeks off with no lessons, called head office who didn't seem bothered said they would get him to call me - another 2 weeks passed heard nothing! Complained again to head office via email as couldn't get through on call line, they said they would look into it and get back to me never did. Today I find out they have booked my driving test for in 2 days time!!! No one bothered to tell me no one has contacted me. Now I am out of pocket and still no closer to passing my test, please please use a different company. I will be making a formal complaint to the GOV

Amazing instructor - Valentina Irimia - changed me from a capable driver to a safe, controlled and excellent driver.

My instructor Valentina Irimia was brilliant. She communicated clearly and gave me easy to follow methods. I took 25 hours of lessons with Valentina and she made me become and feel like a safe, controlled and excellent driver. I have had previous lessons with private instructors but the standard was so much higher and felt like it had the structure I needed to pass my test quickly. I passed my test after these 25 hours with Valentina. I cannot thank her enough.

Terrible communication and not convenient

I booked a test and a 7 hour course with National Intensive (One Week Driving) in September. To begin with it all went smoothly and I was allocated a driving instructor. A test was booked for me which unfortunately fell on the same day as a funeral so I arranged with my allocated instructor to have this date changed. I was then informed by National Intensive that a preliminary test had been booked for November and they will book me an earlier test as soon as possible (as advertised). Two weeks passed and I had heard nothing from National Intensive or my allocated instructor, upon enquiring I was told that it was the instructors responsibility to pick a test date. I then spent time trying to contact my instructor to no avail. By this point it was the middle of October, so I once again contacted National Intensive asking for a refund as I would not be able to attend a test in November. I waited a week without getting a response so I tried again. I then received a response telling me I was only entitled to the cost of test as a refund.

I never met my instructor, this process lasted a month and a half and I did not have a single lesson. National Intensive tried to lay the blame with the instructor and took no responsibility, I thought I was paying for the convenience, which this experience had absolutely none of. I could not recommend any less.

Habib Ahmed

Habib Ahmed. If you get booked with this instructor, change it as soon as possible.

Booked the first 15 hours and had 7.5 remaining and have only done 5. Then booked another 15 and only did 10 so all in all I'm owed 7 hours worth. I will keep disputing and fighting this and if it doesn't get sorted. Matters will be taken into the hands of people a lot bigger and stronger than me. Either the legal way or the physical way. I thought driving would make things easier for me and my kids and took the leap to go into my money to do so. My mom actually paid for the last 15 hours I did. Now Habib will not answer my texts and had the cheek to tell the company he feels like I did a decent amount of hours. He makes me sick and to think he has a family of his own he is not an honest man, but God will strike him when the time comes, if not God, other people will. I'm Angry, fed up and he drives whilst using his phone so I didn't feel safe in the slightest. This man is stealing from people who just want to better themselves for the sake of their children. Again, if you get put with this man, change the instructor straight away.

Beware

This guy is a awful, do not use this company / person. My daughter was told to keep 5 hours so she could have lessons near her test. This lot wouldn’t fit her in and wouldn’t offer a refund.

Aurel was a very calming instructor

Aurel was a very calming instructor, and made me feel at ease very quickly; even though I was a first time driver. He helped me focus more on areas of my driving which needed improvement. Thanks!

Three Months and still not driving!

The lovely ladies in the office are very helpful and “informative” and I booked a one week course to begin on the 9th of July. Having received a total of £550 they then sent an extremely long email at the end of which they mention that, due to DVLA waiting times, some people may occasionally wait up to 3 months for a test date.

It was then up to the driving instructor to tell me that the test date they had booked was the 19th of September. They say the will find you a cancellation.......rubbish. My test is in 2days and my first lesson was yesterday. I feel ripped off. Would have gone elsewhere but they have my money.

10/10 would recommend.

The overall service of the company was great, my instructor (Misbau Hameed) was very good and he was always focused on my development in areas where I lacked skill in order to help me pass my test.

Cheats and fraudsters both instructors and school, DO NOT USE PLEASE

This driving school has caused me nothing but grief and expense. i booked a 37 hour intensive course with them. First I had an instructor tel me she could do 3 days and pick up the rest 3 weeks later. then I was assigned David Sagoo as my instructor. If anyone is offered this man i suggest you say no immediately. I should have done my research on him because it s not good. He shouts, he is rude, he gives you mixed messages and he actually mixes your lessons up with others. I persevered with David and I have never doubted myself as much as have with this man. What was meant to be an intensive one week or one and a half (due to number of hours) was dragged over a 2 month period. He did not take me to test saying I needed more hours when I refused to buy them he cancelled 3 days before my test was due. His behaviour and negative/ mixed messages made me doubt myself and i put driving on hold for a while. Since I have found another driving school who are great and understanding. I have asked David and One week for my refund of 3.5 hours ( which should actually be 8 hours, since he used my time to drive me to a different location in order to begin lessons the first 2 days) however One week have told me that it is between me and the Instructor and I need to contact him regarding the refund (yet I signed up with One Week, David Sagoo was assigned to me by One week) I have messaged David Sagoo 4 times since and tried calling him and I have heard nothing. I cannot believe that this is how people are. I am truly shocked by this pathetic disgusting behavior. Everyone seems to be fobbing me off thinking I will just get tired and go away, we shall see about that !!

Appalling, save yourself and get out now

Appalling, their instructors don't even follow their own policy with regards to pick up and drop off. I lost an hour each lesson (no exaggeration) with my instructor turning up late and dropping me off early and taking me to his preferred location to practice rather than letting me drive there.

Getting in touch with the organisation is the hardest challenge you'll ever face, you certainly won't manage it within half an hour and if you do succeed there will be very little assistance offered. I paid for my instructor up front in cash and had to change my instructor so this only caused more hassle.

Even in the lessons I would be asked to stop at the side of the road and we would waste 15mins while he asked me what I thought the best phone contract he could get was. When I tried to get a refund for all the lost hours I'd had, they refused as they said by getting in the car with the instructor I had agreed to their schedule.

Save yourself the hassle, go elsewhere.

They can have 1* because they did successfully book a theory test after hours waiting on hold to them.

Hello Adam
You review is both unfair and unfounded. You yourself had only good things to say about your instructor up to this point who was also willing to continue with your course. We have had extensive contact with you all of which is on file in regards to the issue you were querying. The instructor was very clear with you about how he would arrange your course and this is stated in the messages between you both which you provided to us by email! He did advise you that he would drive from your address for the first couple of times to the agreed test area, which you discussed with him on message, until he assessed whether or not you were safe to drive. He has since advised you that all future lessons would be you driving to and from. The crux of the matter is that you were advised you would not be test ready as you had only booked a 20 hour course but should have been at least the lowest of the Beginners course in the instructors opinion. You asked for compensation which was denied as it was not eligible. You were advised to complete the remainder of the hours and we could then postpone your test until you were able to complete more hours or we were happy to refund your test fee to which you have not yet responded.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I signed up for this course a while ago, at first they were accommodating of my change in circumstances i.e. university/study commitments. Although they rarely answer the phone and always emailed back with 'from customer service' so you never felt like you were speaking to one person who understood your situation. However, I had one lesson with my most recent instructor, who I thought I could trust because he was affiliated with the company and he told me if I paid him a lump sum he would charge me less for the lessons. I paid him £400 and I never heard from him since, the company have washed their hands of the issue stating that my problem is with him. They told me that many other learners have had similar issues with him and long story short I'm taking him to small claims court which could take years. The company gave me a partial refund but would not give me the full amount due to the length of time between when I purchased the course and eventually was able to take my test. Absolutely shocking, they obviously don't screen the people they employ. This also isn't value for money! They just want to take your money and fob you off to an instructor they aren't even in regular contact with.

AVOID.

Absolute joke & shameful company.

I started my lessons this past weekend & as soon as I started I knew I had made a huge mistake. The driving instructor picked me up & drove me a few miles from my house, pulled over and explained she had a very harsh & tough approach & if I didn’t like it, I could like it or lump it but I wouldn’t get a refund.

Alarm bells rang but I had already paid her in full a few days before & thought I best just power through.

To cut a long story short I lasted 3 days & in my opinion it was 3 days too long. The instructor was constantly on her phone, eyes never on the road, fiddling with the radio, stopping at a house so she could pick her phone charger up & leaving me outside with the hazards on alone in a car I had no idea how to control as she hadn’t bothered to explain anything to me about clutch control/gears as she thought we’d both be bored. Sorry but it’s unacceptable.

Like I said I lasted 3 days & feeling very panicked & anxious I messaged her yesterday saying it wasn’t working out for me & I would be cancelling my lessons. She replied and was fine & thanked me for letting her know. I had never asked her or the company for a refund or the instructor herself. As honestly just wanted to close the door on the whole experience & find someone else.

Fast forward to today & the company have sent me an email saying to send over my sort code & account information to send the instructor an additional £75 as she works above the hourly rate! Didn’t know this before you booked her? Never mentioned when she asked for the money in full last week.

Needless to say I won’t be paying the £75 & I wasn’t going to even consider leaving a bad review but think it’s a bit of a joke.

Do yourself a favour and avoid!

Save your money, go elsewhere!

Save your money, do not sign up. I never spend the time to leave reviews, however I think it is absolutely necessary to warn off anyone who is considering this company. They are very welcoming when you show interest of signing up and very easy to contact, however once your money has been paid you are pretty much on your own. I provided my availability (evenings and weekends) before signing up and paying, to which they said their allocation of an instructor will be suited to this availability. This instructor, David - based in Wales (I am in Bristol) then requested for me to do hours in which I had not stated were inside of my availability. This included early morning before work (9am) as well as even asking for me to take some annual leave to get these dates in! I am very disappointed with the company and experience with the instructor as a whole, I am receiving a refund (which isn't a full refund might I add) and taking my money elsewhere. 6 weeks from signing up and the only progress I have is having passed my theory. I highly recommend to go directly to a local instructor, this will avoid being allocated an unhelpful instructor and stop you paying roughly £360 admin fees for the company to do jobs that you can do yourself (booking your theory and practical)
