The worst customer service and managerial experience ever

If you are planning to buy bulk items don't choose this company and their customer service advice.
I had to change a few items after the initial order and the £500 that was supposed to be refunded in 14 days was not refunded until I waited for one month and called them chasing about it. To avoid another 14 days I had to order something else.
I was advised that a bath mixer would fit with my bath and the plumber says that the bath is designed for a wall mounted bath mixer, now this company says its too late for a refund!

Worst Customer Service Ever

Ordered on 24 May and arrived 3 June. WC Unit was damaged so was told replacement would be sent overnight. It didn't arrive next day. Phoned again and was told it would be coming direct from the manufacturer when it did arrive it was more damaged than the first one. By this time I have made 8 phone calls chasing them and they always said they would phone back and never once did. I needed the unit by 10 June latest and if it didn't arrive I would have to find one locally myself. The unit never arrived. I asked for a refund which I was promised. Nothing happened. I was promised again 2 weeks ago that the refund was being processed but 14 days later I still have not received my money. Altogether I have made 15 calls to them. Beware... it is now 21 days since they promised my money back and I'm still waiting.

Fault resolution seems to have started after bad feedback on this site. Reply not correct. One email after order place and then one followed today after the complaint. Not the best way to resolve an issue by insinuating customer is a liar.

You spoke to the customer services on Friday 30th to check up on the delievry

There was some confusion with the delievry date and we advised you, we sent you a email on 21st advising you your goods were ready to leave us on the 29th and PALLETWAYS WILL CONTACT YOU Direct Within 42 Working Hrs from your dispatch Date To Arrange a Suitable Delivery Date With You.

Delivery was then booked in for Monday 2nd and for the driver to call you 40mins before so you could leave work to sign for the delievry

I have spoken to the courier company and the goods will be with you today by 6pm as stated in the email we sent

Excellent

Found this company quite by chance looking to refit our 3 bathrooms. From start to finish I cannot fault them - from price to customer service. Delivery arrived well packaged and intact 4 days from dispatch which is amazing considering we are north of the border. Thanks to Kelly and Tony for all their help. Have no hesitation in recommending onlinebathrooms to all you people out there - you will not be disappointed!!

Super Pleased

As someone who normally doesnt like buying on the internet I was a little apprehensive especially as the price was very good for what I was getting. However, everything arrived as it should have and in a timely manner! Am extremely pleased with my new bathroom suite, the price I paid and the service I received

Perfect!

I rang up to enquire about next day delivery options which weren't available on the website.
They gave me free next day delivery and a 5% off code.
Everything arrived on time and was as described.
Prices were some of the best available.
Staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

Highly recommended.

Poor Service

Before my order was delivered on 6 January 2014 I realised the shower cubicle I had ordered was too big (my fault) so I phoned for advice. I was told to refuse delivery and I would be refunded and charged £50 which I accepted. I ordered a smaller shower cubicle the same day (6 January 2014) and paid by card over the phone but when I phoned on 8th January to find out when it would be delivered I was told it was out of stock and they had tried to contact me. I have had no messages or missed calls on either my landline or mobile phone or e-mails (all of these details were supplied when I placed the order). I requested a refund (which you would expect to be done automatically when an item is out of stock) and despite being told by Kelly (when I phoned on 16th January) that the refund was processed on 10 January, my account was not credited until 27 January. Very poor.

disappointing

Delivery was two days earlier than agreed. Delivery driver would not wait for delivery to be checked as stated it was.required to be. Staff were very unhelpful when telephoned. Would not use this company again.

In response to this matter no failure was made at any time by onlinebathrooms.com in delivering an excellent standard of service. You placed the order on 1/01/14 at 8pm – We then called you to arrange a suitable delivery date on 2nd – 4th – 6th and all times left messages on your Mobile number asking you to contact us to arrange a suitable delivery date, you then contacted us direct on the 9th to ask for delivery on Friday 10th
The delivery arrived with you as arranged on Friday 10th

We did send an email on 2nd to inform you of the delivery terms & conditions which stated

1) PALLETRACK - The pallet will only be delivered to your door. No items will be removed from the pallet and taken inside the property, nor will the pallet be taken inside or up and steps for insurance reasons. We strongly recommend you have help available for the checking of goods on arrival and also for unloading the pallet in to your property, as the delivery drivers will not be able to assist you past your front door for insurance reasons

Took heed of advice & very happy.

Looking through the reviews here I decided to order the basics (without fittings) and pick the kit up myself. All the kit was waiting for me on a pallet when I arrived and the helpful staff helped me load my van. Glad to report that when I opened the boxes (12 of them) at home everything was in perfect condition (the boxes looked like they'd been treated with care in the warehouse). Perhaps Dale could review the performance of their couriers (or even do it 'in-house') as I'm sure this is the root cause of most of the poor feedback on this site. Glad I made an informed choice here and really chuffed with the savings I've made :-)

Item not as described

Although fast service and helpful - item was not as described - we telephoned and specifically asked for unit to be with one shelf - it was not.

Otherwise, price slightly high - we find same quality units are available for less.

What a Waste of Time

What a waste of my time, effort and Money Onlinebathrooms was. Their staff are unhelpful and Lie! After chasing for a e-mail conformation that never came, and nearly missing my delivery because they didn't both to tell me the good where being shipped out, again via an e-mail that never came. They then 'tried to call me' on the Friday before my Monday delivery - which i had book the day off for and had my builders coming in to help it all be moved. they then didn't have three of my items in stock, which they 'only found out that day'. They refused to offer any compensation and said they had left 8 voice mails..... I got one and one missed call. they also promised they would be cheaper than another site i was looking at, and they ended up being more expensive one they added on their shipping fees. I would go else where for your bathrooms.

incompetence at best and criminal at worst

I ordered various bathroom stuff for about £500. Price, quality and delivery was fine. A few weeks later I checked my credit card bill and saw that they had deducted the money twice. Rang to complain and was told that it was my fault because I "must have clicked the order button twice", which I know I didn't. Anyway this is nonsense, you can't accidentally double your order by clicking twice. I said in that case why didn't they send me two order confirmations and two set of goods? Or alternatively, why didn't they notice the error and refund the money? They had no answers and no apology, just said it was my fault but promised a refund. 4 weeks later: no refund. Called to complain and was told that only the manager could authorise the refund and he wasn't available. No explanation why it hadn't been done in 4 weeks. Finally the refund was put through but i still demanded to speak to the manager to get an explanation. I have left 3 messages for him to call me, but still no call back. My theory: they took the money and hung on to it hoping I wouldn't notice and have no explanations. This is incompetence at best and criminal at worst.
