We have read your review and please rest assured that we take these matters very seriously. We have listened to the conversation again (on our phone call log) and, based on the recorded conversation, we are perplexed by your review content. We feel that we should respond to your review, not only to clarify the actual content of our conversation but so that any misunderstanding can be cleared up.
To clarify:
1) It was clearly stated that we were happy to provide you with a quote for the items you wanted
2) My colleague had stated that to produce a quote he would need 3 items, door manufacturer, door range and door colour, which would enable him to give you a price over the phone
3) My colleague had also clearly stated that he was not being awkward, but without this information he was unable to provide the requested quote as the pricing software requires this information to form the basis for quoting.
4) Throughout the conversation, we requested that you confirm the actual door style, manufacturer / door range and colour (all of which have a bearing on the quoted cost)
5) Throughout the conversation you did not confirm the actual door style or a manufacurer/door range or colour
6) We advised that we would not be able to confirm a cost for you if you were unable to confirm the door style, range, manufacturer or colour, on numerous occasions during our conversation
If you would like us to send you a copy of the recording, then please let us know
To this end, despite our numerous attempts to help you with the quote you’ve requested, you didn’t enable us to assist you as you would not confirm the door style, range, manufacturer or colour that you wanted.
We are still happy to help you with a quote, however we do need these criteria confirmed in order to do so.
