Just brilliant
Just brilliant! I phoned the shop, as my boots were leaking and so needed to replace them straight-away, and could not go into the shop as I have been "shielding" since, forever! So talked to a chap there who asked what boots I already had, and what ones I fancied buying, and he compared-and-contrasted the two, and told me that it was a pretty good match in the fitting between the two boots.
Then, he posted the boots to me the very day, and they arrived the next !
What more can one say? Well, I can say a very big "THANK YOU!"

I now wish I had taken more notice of…
I now wish I had taken more notice of the negative reviews for this company in regarding the terrible customer service before ordering. I didn't think I would need to worry about issues with returns/refunds as I was ordering a Fjallraven shirt that I had ordered on a different site a few weeks earlier in a different colour but same size. However, there was an issue with the sizing of the shirt from Open Air Cambridge. There was less material across the width of the sleeves and across the top of the back section of the shirt. The way the shirt had been cut meant it was not true to size, didn't fit properly, and I considered to be faulty.
Open Air Cambridge said I could return the shirt but that they would not refund the shipping costs as they didn't consider there to be a problem with the shirt. They then agreed to send me a pre-paid returns label, but said if when they received the shirt back they didn't deem the shirt to be faulty they would keep the cost of return postage from my refund. They said they would compare the shirt to another one when they got it back. It is worth pointing out that they did not have another shirt in the same size in stock, so there is no real way for them to compare it like for like with another shirt. They have acknowledged receipt of the return now, and have said they have contacted Fjallraven for comment. I am now waiting for further response from Open Air Cambridge, and also a full refund which to date has not been forthcoming.
I have bought Fjallraven products elsewhere before and never had issue before. I believe this is a one off issue with the shirt, and am greatly disappointed that Open Air Cambridge have refused to accept it as such and issue a full refund. They can after all take it up with Fjallraven who have a great reputation for quality and returns as a company.
I was using Open Air Cambridge as they had a good price on the shirt and I wanted to try and support an independent store. However, I now regret that decision and will not be shopping with them again, and do not recommend them at all. I am still waiting for my refund of nearly £100 for the shirt.

As we have explained directly, we compared the sizing of the Canada Shirt you received with the rest of our range of brand new Autumn/Winter 2021/22 stock and the fit is fully consistent across the full range of sizes. Product sizing can change from year to year and this would not be considered a fault.
We have offered to help investigate whether your other shirt is an older version with a different cut (even if it was purchased recently) and are continuing to try and resolve the issue satisfactorily. Where items are faulty, we do our best to resolve issues as quickly as possible, but sadly we can't offer free returns for unwanted items, as this would mean we need to increase prices.

Excellent service. Boots look good but haven’t used them yet so can’t comment on comfort on walks or how they will last. Seem a good fit and true to size. I would say they are on the narrow side and certainly not a wide fit.

Puchace of anarak
I purchaced an anarak and wanted it fully waterproof. The order was placed and the item arrived promptly. I have used Open Air for a number of years and have been satisfied with the produce. I have been disapointed that the shop has closed as I prefer to see what I am getting. I must admit that your website is excelent and easy to follow. I also think that having a shop for boots and shoes works well.
