Great value for money

I have saved hundreds of pounds this year with my hotel bookings thanks to Opodo. I have always had good customer service to them and feel valued as a customer. I’ve never had any difficulty getting to customer service on the phone ans the agents are polite and helpful.

I had an extremely disappointing…

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Opodo. I booked a flight through them because they advertised a “price guarantee” — essentially promising a refund if I found the same ticket cheaper elsewhere. That reassurance is what convinced me to go ahead with the booking.

Shortly after, I did find a cheaper deal and submitted clear evidence, exactly as requested. Instead of honoring their promise, they refused to issue the refund. It felt like the guarantee was nothing more than a tactic to get customers to book through their platform.

Dealing with customer service only made things worse. The responses were unhelpful, inconsistent, and at times felt deliberately evasive. Even when escalating the issue, the outcome didn’t change just more frustration and wasted time.

In my experience, this company makes promises it does not intend to keep. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and not rely on their so-called guarantees and premium services when making a booking.

Sanjo is the best

Sanjo is the best. He is doing his job very well. Please give him a great customer service award. He understand my situation and help me make options and understand. He is a great asset of your company. He can replace his manager because his manager is not helping. Make him the team leader or manager.

Deceitful and unethical

Booked a flight via Opodo which was cancelled by the airline. Despite Opodo saying the flight was refunded by the airline, they have never refunded me for the booking. They say something different every time I speak to them and I have now concluded the only way to get my money back is through legal proceedings. I am sure they will deny it but they are clearly an unethical and dishonest organisation. I have documentary proof of their deceit and the debt they owe me, so their denial would be futile. A disgusting organisation which cannot be trusted to act in customers’ best interests.

This company is excellent at hiding therefore not providing customer service! n booking flight and hotel through…

When booking flight and hotel through this site for the first time I did not see the hotel address which is on a completely different Isle in Scotland! As soon as I realized I contacted the hotel which has excellent customer service (The Royal Hotel, Isle of Lewis) however because I booked 3rd party I must cancel direct. It is impossible to reach anyone by phone from Canada on their sites of numbers provided! They have my money and have no way of getting in touch. Every email is ignored. Good and bad

18.5.26: What I half-expected might be a difficult experience was transformed by your telephone agent Himanshu's positive, courteous and well-informed approach to finding a solution.
