Optical Express Haymarket Edinburgh Experience
I am writing this without specs for the first time in my life after having Lens Replacement Surgery. The fantastic team at Edinburgh Haymarket from start to finish made it easy. The wonderful team Georgina, Danielle, David, Paul, Lyn and each one of them made it so much easier. Everything was explained, they were so supportive on the day and with all my questions afterwards. My vision is fantastic and even better than expected and everyday I waken up surprised and humbled that I can see. I can read, drive and complete everything in my life without specs. I highly recommend the team at Edinburgh and the wonderful people there.

Optical Express - Central Milton Keynes
Today I Nan had an appointment at Optical Express UK in Milton Keynes.
The staff are amazing, although my Nan was referred to them for her cataracts, she was not treated any different to someone that had paid to have the same treatment.

Staff at OE in Aberdeen and their…
Staff at OE in Aberdeen and their Glasgow Clinic excellent. Facilities at Glasgow clinic excellent. Procedure totally painless and would have no hesitation in recommending the Glasgow clinic and their staff.
That said their aftercare was disappointing. I was aware that cataract surgery would resolve my cataract issue but not my diplopia (double vision). Without question my clarity of vision improved immensely but my diplopia is still very bad. I am unable to drive, watch any television or travel in any form of transport unless I keep my eyes closed. Keeping them open causes what is akin to travel sickness. To compound matters I cannot get an appointment for an eye test until 6weeks after my surgery. Currently it is one week down and 5 to go. Once I get my eyes tested I estimate it will be another 2 weeks to get my glasses. The 3 star rating is because I feel that when I made my appointment at Aberdeen OE for the surgery they could also have set the appointments for surgery after care. This could have potentially meant that I only would have had 4 weeks after surgery before an eye test. If this eye test had shown I was not ready for glasses then fine. But at least I may not have had to wait possibly as long as 2 months before I could drive of use public transport to get about.

A 5 star experience, treated with warmth and humility. Very efficient and everything done as described. Visiting OE at Hulme was a joy and Marie-Ann looked after everything superbly. Marie-Ann was particularly attentive and made me feel welcome and informed every step of the way. I have no hesitation in recommending Optical Express for any eye surgery.

Am delighted with my experience. Staff are so friendly which really helped me as was nervous but they put me at ease. Was a quick pain free surgery. Wish I had done it sooner. Definitely a 5star experience with Inverness branch . I did have few issues with customer service with phone calls and emails to start but did get sorted.

Great experience
From start to finish my journey at the Cardiff clinic was amazing. From my initial consultation with Christian who was very informative about the whole journey, and my time with Elly the optometrist was very thorough and gained all the necessary information. Yesterday was my surgery day which I lad laser surgery, the day was very quick and efficient and was only in clinic less than an hour, and had my follow up check this morning in which I was able to read the bottom line on the chart, where as before surgery the whole chart would have been a blur without my glasses, very happy with my journey and would recommend.
