The worst service I have ever…

The worst service I have ever experienced. After 18 days of trying to activate my ip phone line, I finally gave up. The agents answering the phones are nice, they just are not able to resolve the issue. After the last attempt, the Orange agent on the technical help line told me to go back to the store and try the router with an Orange phone and that the employees at the store will help resolve the issue, I went to Carré Eden but still no success (this is the third attempt to actually go to an Orange store). The sales guy (Nabil EL Khorchi) said all he could do is log another incident ticket with Orange. I asked him to go ahead cancel my account and he refused to do it. He asked me to come back a couple days later, the first of July 2021, so I could cancel. He lied to me about my account balance not being up to date and he made me pay for the month of July early. I will dispute this charge with my credit card company once I get back home. I refused to leave the store and being in Morocco my cousin had the store manager intervene and the agent finally cancelled my account after tending to other customers making me wait. He then came by and rudely handed me the cancellation paper work. Seeing the number of negative reviews not sure if Orange is actually doing anything about the quality of their service.

I came to Morocco for a couple of months to do some remote work nearby the ocean. The overall quality of all ISPs is bad and Orange isn't different. I trusted the brand name as I use orange frequently while in Europe and bought its dar box. Honestly, it's better than other options I was offered by my host (adsl and inwi router) as they didn't work at all. Orange works decently most of the day providing ~5 mbps instead of agreed 12, but during the evenings it goes below 1mbps almost every time. I don't know what it is, but for sure I won't come to Morocco as digital nomad.

If I could give Orange -10/10 I would... with no second thought

Orange Morocco is fooling people and everyone know that, the internet speeds are way below what they advertise. I pay 240 MAD (~27$) for 12mbps, do you know what I get? A FREAKING 0.2mbps. the contract doesn't mean a thing for them, except that it makes you pay the full price even if their services are sh!t. You have a meeting or an online class, call the costumer service and they will hold you on wait for 15 minutes then they ask what is the problem, you explain that the speed is 0.8mbps tops and you should get at least 9 or 10mbps, they answer with cold voice: the internet speed can range between 0.5mbps and 12mbps and you are getting 0.8mbps that is totally normal. well what about paying 27$ for 0.8mbps how that sounds? Some call center agents would transfer you to technical support and they would say the line seems okay there is no problem from their part (if they could tell you that it your problem they would), some others would ask you to remove the SIM card and re enter it, rebooting the router or resetting it, is that how you solve internet problems? they try to fool people as if they are illiterate (not to mention that most people working in Orange agencies and technical support are not as tech savvy as you might think, the real ones that would understand you are actually hiding setting up DATA CAPS and bandwidth throttling)
I am in urban city and 4G coverage is great and that means that whatever they are doing to your internet speed, they are doing it deliberately and gladly, you don't matter as a customer, what matters is their lying advertisement and fishing people to sign the contract and waste their money on nothing (and there is not way round that, if you have already signed you should pay the full price for their sh!tty services each month)
Internet in Morocco as way below average, customer rights are a joke here (there is no such thing), Internet Service Providers know that people here don't know what "mbps" means, and they are using their illiteracy to make them agree on contracts (many don't read them they just sign, and others read but don't understand because contracts are not standard at all, they are linguistically vague), Morocco -because of it's geographic location- can provide every house with gigabit internet, but people don't know that, and many are happy with 0.8mbps. the biggest problem is coming from citizens more than ISPs (they pay 27$ -which is 3 working days salary for most people- and still... happy with 0.8mbps).

company now just lies to you

Horrible.. Just absolutely horrible. If there's an antonym to the word speed, it would be perfect to describe Orange. I'm getting speeds I didn't even know existed in our age 0.02 mb/s 0.01mb/s... Let me type that again ZERO POINT ZERO ONE!!!!!
This company must be a leading force in the aggravation of the diabetic situation in Morocco. Ya tfou!

I think one star is too much

I think one star is too much. When a company sells a service, and they tell you here is what you get, then you go home, And you find out it is not, you think maybe there is a mistake. Trust me, orange knows exactly what they are doing. They are simply deceiving people, and your best decision that you can make is to never look at buying their service. That’s the best thing you can do for yourself. They have no customer support, no one to fix your problem, or ever make you feel like a customer. It’s a shame. I am upset and disappointed because no one acknowledges the problem. The best bandwidth speed you get is just under 1 meg , and you pay for 20megs. It’s unbelievable the level of incompetence.

biggest disappointment

at the beginning it was good, but as the number of clients increased due to their ads that promise u the best internet, it seems like the servers cannot handle the amount of users they seem to have, also it doesnt make sense as why they would have offers of 8 mb or 12 mb that differ in price but in the end those who pay for either one of them get the same amount which could be lower than 4 and as worse as 0,8.
Biggest scam, i dont recommend their internet box.
PS : their workers dont even know what they are talking about, imagine paying for 12 mb and being told ur internet download speed could vary between 2 to 12 ( never 12 by the way, average is 4 at best literally ), so following this logic why is there even a price difference between 8 mb and 12 mb when it * varies * anyway????

Wow that was "very helpful" thanks for nothing. 👎

avoid at all cost , i had dar box 12mp , net is decent in the day , but evening or night goes to 0.03mb , not only that , but also they have changed their net policy which is no long unlimited network , so you only get 300GB per month for the cost of 240 dhs ,

Very bad service

Very bad service. Worst customer service ever. if i pay for a service i expect that it works. wifi dar box is a joke. now it has been 1 month since the speed is so slow 1.23, 0 Mbps and sometimes I cannot even connect to WIFI while i am paying for 12 Mbps. I called but nobody answers, i chat with their customer service agents all they have to say is that we sent your request to the technical support and that they will contact within 24hrs and then they stop the chat without even letting me talk. Unfortunately, i havent heard from them. i reach out to them the second time and they say same thing and the 3rd time as well. Orange really sucks, i am canceling it. robbery bl3alali. they say that the reason is because of the covid-19 crisis and that everybody is at home that is why it is slow. You know what, that is not really my problem. if you can't handle the job let other companies do it because when the month ends you guys dont give me any discount because it was not working. They expect us to pay, we expect them to deliver the promised service./ AVOID !!!!!! orange

Orange Casablanca Airport workers steal money

Casablanca airport at 6.01.2020, there were 1 guy and 2 girls worked at Orange desk.
And one of girls (fat one with poor hair and bad teeth hah) which supposed to give free cards to tourists took money for it! 10 euros. When i asked if it’s free she told me it’s not and i should give her 10 euro. Hope that girl will become the poorest person ever and lost much more than f””cking 10 euros, just hate when such people lie to someone who just arrived to the country. Disgusting. So angry now.
Orange, tell airport workers they shouldnt take money, and i hope ALL of them that work nowadays in Casa airport will be fired because they all demand money for cards.
