Frequently delayed, 2-8 minute-long and loud announcements
1. The trains are frequently delayed, crowded, or just don't come.
2. On warm days, the air conditioning often doesn't work, resulting in hours of a literal sauna feeling on the train.
3. The announcements are the most useless announcements I have ever heard. They start listing all the stations the train will stop at, resulting in 2-8 minute-long announcements. I have to work on the train, and concentration is zero if somebody is talking to you at full speaker volume. Even in the quiet compartments, they let the announcements run—nothing is quiet about that. They repeat in Swedish and English... it is very unnecessary.
4. The tickets are super expensive. I pay more than 3000 SEK traveling between Malmö and Copenhagen.
Now to the positive side:
1. The personnel are usually quite polite.
2. The view is nice on the bridge.
3. You can lend your ticket to other people.
That's about it, and I have to admit it's probably one of the worst train experiences I have had. I am from Germany and used to DB...
Horrible horrible Öresundstågen and Transdev
Horrible. Again and again and again. Travelling on June 12 on train 1058 from Copenhagen to Gothenburg. Half of the carriages closed of from Copenhagen to Malmö resulting in complete chaos with packed of people standing in the aisles with luggage, people not getting their reserved seats. Having so many people standing is a serious safety concern and surely against regulations. The state of the carriages is awful. Waste and litter on the floor, filthy toilets etc etc.
If this was a one off I wouldn’t necessarily say anything but what we are experiencing today happens again and again. In one shape or form.
What is Öresundstågen and Transdev as an operator thinner and do about it ? Do you actually care as this has been going on for quite some time ? Is this how to treat customers ? Have a look at the customer reviews and promotional scores you are getting. If it wasn’t for the close to monopoly like situation you are enjoying, customers would have abandoned you a long time ago. Also, it leads customers to take the car or bus instead So the way you are conducting your services is leading people to increase the carbon footprint.
Would be appropriate to let customers know what You think and how you intend to correct your short comings. You have operated the services since 2022 so there should be no excuses.
Cross border commuting
Rushing out of work just to find that the train has been cancelled. Nothing about it in the app. Nothing on the signs. You just have to stand there and find out for yourself that the train is not coming.
Then youll also be standing in Hyllie for another 20 mins for whatever reason.
This is just an avarage day of cross commuting to work late at night. Absolutely terrible.
Huge delays most of the times
Huge delays most of the times . Not recommend
Everyday is full and late
If not during rush hour
Three times in a short time we have now travelled with the Öresund train. No fuss at all, times have held, everything has worked. That's probably also the case, if you don't travel during rush hour or if SJ trains are competing for the track.

Öresundstag is probably one of the worst train services in Europe.
Today (10/11_2023) they have canceled several trains with little or no information att all to passengers.
They should be ashamed.
Avoid this company, but unfortunately it is a monopoly.
How is it possible to be this bad
As someone who lives in Malmö and works in Copenhagen - I'm genuinely at a loss for words over how bad this train service is. In the last year I've:
✅ Missed my girlfriends graduation
✅ Almost missed a flight
✅ Been late to work 20+ times
✅ Spent hours just waiting around on train platforms for delayed or cancelled trains.
For me what takes the cake is that, whenever it happens, you never receive even the tiniest bit of sincere empathy. "The next train doesn't stop at Triangeln, so just take a taxi," "the 2:02 train has been cancelled, the next train to Sweden is at 3:02." I'd understand it if there were some severe infrastructural problems or issues facing DSB, but really? SEK 130kr each way and for what? Signal failure every other service? Absolute joke.
A commuter’s worst nightmare
I have been commuting for a little over 8 years between Malmö and Älmhult. Almost every other week there is issues on the tracks. Almost never is a train on time. Very often trains are cancelled. When replacement busses are needed we joke between us commuters that it is a safer bet to just go have a drink/meal and wait for train traffic to resume than to wait for a replacement bus to arrive. When they do come there is always too little and it is a fight to get on one. I always let out a sigh of relief when I get to Lund because then at least I know I can get home by bus or taxi. I don’t understand how in the 8 years I have commuted there has been no significant improvement in train tracks, replacement service or alternative forms of travel.

Rude and racist conductor
9:53 train from Malmö to Copenhagen. Very rude and even racist conductor. He seems to have a problem with my being a Spaniard.
Worst Scandic train, blindly choose another train service.
If i could give zero stars i would.
Worst train I have been on ever. Just pay a little more for a better trains service. A shame to the Scandic countries, a poor representation.
Forget about the AC not working but there was no air in the carriages. Felt sick and passed out while i was perfectly fine before getting onboard.
I will never choose this in my life again.
Avoid at any cost
Avoid at any cost! This is the worst travel experience and even worst customer treatment. In the train wagons there were customers standing on some part of the traveling from Copenhagen Centralstation to Göteborg Central Station and no ac working!! But it seems that there’s always some kind of a reason that this company is using in order to excuse its behavior to its costumers.
ALWAYS cancelled or late!
ALWAYS cancelled or at least 10–15 minutes late!!! How hard can it be?!?
Disaster complete catastrophe
Disaster complete catastrophe, equal to train system in 3rd world country's. Super expensive for the service they provide.....
Daily traveler with almost daily…
Daily traveler with almost daily problems. Trains are recently more often late than on time. I don't even want to mention multiple cancelations and freezing at the station while waiting more than 20 minutes. Afterward, nothing better than squeezing in with hundreds of people (multiple coughing without covering their mouths, because it seems like a hard thing to do for some people here) for 1 hour on a train. Even as a traveler with 1st class ticket, it is not easy to relax while traveling like that. Not to mention that 1st class sometimes becomes as full as the 2nd class or even fuller (Although, multiple passengers most of the time do not have 1st class tickets). I guess there are also no fines for the people without 1st class tickets sitting in the 1st class because, most of the time, they are just escorted out of the wagon. I believe that more employees would be needed to regulate that chaos, check tickets more frequently, and give fines to the ones without them.
