Notorious Slow Shipping

Just like every other review, this shipper is notoriously a slow shipper; waiting 2 weeks for a simple package delivery and still waiting for a purchase made on 12/31/23. Obviously, this shipper accumulates packages and sends them out in bulk!! Why a seller would continue to use them and damage the reputation of their own business is beyond me.

I too have a package which is currently…

I too have a package which is currently in the apparent "black hole" of OSM's claimed forwarding or delivery service. Whatever money the bookseller I've ordered from has saved by using them will result in losing them my future business. Sellers need to realize that supposed thrift in shipping injures their book purchaser/customers in a meaningful way, as they may be in actual need, as I am, of what they've ordered. There seems to be no way to gain information on the progress of my package, although it's been allegedly sitting in OSM's facility in Aston, PA since January 5, 2024, without being simply and responsibly turned over to USPS for delivery. Given my experience, and that of others, I wonder if I might never receive the research volume I have paid good money to obtain.

Slowest company out there

Slowest company out there. My package left the Dallas area Thursday at 6:01 pm and has not made it to Oklahoma yet, at worst it is a 6 hour drive, giving them 2 hours for traffic, so it should have been in Oklahoma by 12:01am Friday. It is now Saturday 12:15 pm and there is no update to tracking status.
Update it arrived at the Tulsa USPS Distribution Center Saturday at 3:56 pm. It just took about 46 hours!
This is my second experience with this company and it has not improved.

Can I give them a zero?

If I could assign a zero to this company, I would. I placed an order with Daedalus Books that was processed on December 14 and turned over to OSM. As for January 6 it is still in limbo and I have no idea where it is. If Daedalus continues to use this company I will no longer do business with them, and that would end a relationship of over 20 years.

What's taking OSM so long to move packages?

The partner shipper (OSM) has had my package since December 15 (according to the shipper). It took two weeks for the tracking number to be active in the system. It is now at a facility 100 miles from my house in York PA. The notification says it left the facility on Dec 30 and the USPS is waiting for said package. It feels like "left the facility" means they put it on the truck and parked it in the parking lot.
I see many reviews with similar complaints posted last year. I saw only one positive review of OSM by "Person Human." That looks like a fraudulent review to me.

Trash Company!

Really bad customer service and shipping speeds are abysmal.

Customer service doesn’t take accountability and will not give you any information.

They have made me start to inquire about shipping service used by companies and I will no longer purchase from any company that uses them as a third party shipper.

I have packages that have been sitting with them for weeks (4 at this point)!

Seriously, go out of business because you are adding no value to our human existence and are wasting peoples time and money.

Beware!!! OSM world wide shipping is the slowest shipper ive ever delt with
Little if any tracking
After two weeks to ship a envelope size cd a cpl of states away still havnt reiceved barely any tracking info at all.
Really how hard is it to document location
.praying i even get my package at this point

If it were possible I would give 0…

If it were possible I would give 0 stars, this has to be the SLOWEST shipper I have ever had the misfortune to do business with. Honestly, I would Prefer to pay a little more for shipping and actually receive my package BEFORE the NEW YEAR ( order placed December 3).

I actually placed another order at the same time, which shipped from Australia, and it arrived in 4 days! This shipper, OMS WORLDWIDE, rates SLOWER than "snail mail". Once my package actually moves, and it moves S-L-O-W, to another destination it just sits there for days. This has been such a bad experience that if I ever see that They are the shipper (I will be sure to check) handling my order, I'll cancel my order.

JUST USE USPS!!

OSM P/U MY PACKAGE IN DETROIT THE 8TH, 122 MILES FROM MY HOME. NEXT STOP IS YORK, PA. TODAY, 393 MILES FROM MY HOME.
IF IT TRAVELED ON THE OHIO TURNPIKE, @ ONE TIME IT WAS 4 MILES FROM MY HOME.
DEPARTED YORK, PA TODAY, WONDER WHERE IT IS HEADED NOW.

Dumpster Fire

Very slow shipping. Never on time. Packages will stay at locations for days without updating. Packages get lost. Not trustworthy. Füm I’m talking to you. Get another shipper.

There is a 4-star review by “Person Human”. I am only guessing, but that review might be an employee of OSM, as OSM is NOT a 4-star company. Like all of the other 1-star reviews, my experience has been rather awful. If there was a serious reduction in shipping costs, then I could somewhat understand, but the costs are relatively the same as with the other delivery groups.

My first experience was when HP sent me something. Frankly, I am stunned that HP would use this service, but to HP’s credit, they shipped the product again via another service, and I received that…BEFORE I received the OSM shipment. How pathetic is that?!

Currently, I have another package by another vendor that used OSM. It has been sitting in York, PA for four business days, and York is about one hour from me. Do they have one employee in York? What is going on?!

I have to agree with other reviewers and will simply never ever buy from a vendor that ships via OSM. They are truly THAT bad.

NOTE: The last time I wrote a negative 1-star review on any site was so many years ago, that I don’t even remember. I take no joy in writing negative reviews, but OSM’s service is so profoundly pathetic, that I really had to comment.

OSM is Garbage

This company is so incredibly slow it’s pathetic. My package left GA headed to Texas on December 2. It has been “arrived at partner shipping facility” for the past two days now. I’m in CSTAT which is only a couple hours from Houston where the package supposedly is at. I had another package ship through OSM a few months ago from the same company and it arrived a month late.

This carrier is as slow as Molasses

This is my second experience in the last few weeks where a merchant used OSM Worldwide for a package shipment. The first package took 13 business days to arrive from NY to NV. The second package has now sat in York, PA for over a week and I tracked it today and it is still there. I don't understand what the value is utilizing this company instead of just shipping directly with USPS? It should not take multiple weeks to transport something that any other carrier would deliver in 3-5 business days at the latest.

Eleven days from NJ and it is in LAS…

Eleven days from NJ and it is in LAS Vegas; seems they are placing a bet on when this will be delivered; had been scheduled by as late as 11/21/23; it took pony express about the same amount of time to deliver from NYC to Livingston, Montana but it was on time: if you really are reading these comments you will notice that the ratings for your service is a high 1, only because there is not a zero!
