The party receiving our packages was hit with a major undocumented request for payment, that had to be paid before the packages (3) could be handed over in Denmark. Claiming that this was customs duty on second hand goods (?). Customs duty on new goods in this case is 25% however the charge was equal to 38% duty based on the sum insured on the paperwork.

As you are probably aware Duties & Taxes are beyond our control and the responsibility of the receiver in the relevant country unless you as the sender choose to pay them on their behalf. In future, the best option would be to visit a service centre and speak with our freight experts who will be able to help with international freight enquiries. Thank you again for your feedback.

Poor service
Poor service, booked collection on a Wednesday and item was not collected till following Tuesday. Booked another item and same delay, called to follow up and was told they use sub contracts and apologised for delay.

Best price, easy to send and very fast for very big items
I had to send a very big box to the USA and not only were Pack & Send the cheapest (around $200 cheaper than the next best) but the whole process was super easy. To top it off the box arrived in the middle of the USA in the same week.

First time using Pack and Send - but didn't work out
I used pack send reading great online reviews and because it was quick and cost efficient. I booked my Documents to be sent via the online service to India on 21/3/19. It was quick and smooth online and I dropped off my envelope which had few scan copies of documents. It was sent on time to India however after reaching there DHL demanded to pay them additional $20 as part of duty and other taxes. This additional payment was a surprise. I contacted the Pack and Send Erina office and they promised to fix it. However DHL in India said they won't deliver unless the money was paid. We had no option but to pay the additional $20. We have send documents via Australia Post in the past and have never had to pay anything for delivery - no stamp/ customs duty. So in all we ended up paying more that what we would have paid to send via Australia Post. The reason provided by DHL was this envelope was sent as a Parcel and not documents from Australia. So unfortunately for me it was a bad experience. Feel free to reach out to me for more information.
In all delivery was fast but I ended up paying more money and the hassle of arranging the money in India to get the documents delivered.

The Online service has limited services available and does not offer a 'documents only' service at this time. All documents should be sent through the Service Centre to avoid any delays or local charges applied.
