Got a refund after discovering much lower price for express shipping with Australia Post. Guys at Pack and Send kept repeating to me, as though I don't understand, that courier and postal services are different even after I told them that I will delete my review if Australia Post is as slow as they say. On another note, please don't tell me you're happy to allow me to pay the custom/tax fees for the recipient and then next day tell me you'd rather not allow that...it's the main reason I went to you.

Pack & Send have been good but the Christmas period deliveries was abysmal. Booked on the 18th December, delivered on the 8th January. (different delivery to the one below)

This service is the fantastic, Sent a package to the USA which arrived on the date they estimated 6 days unlike Australia Post where you pay for 6 days and it takes 3 weeks. Door to door service and when I searched my options, was the best price. Was nervous as I had never used it before and I wanted the package to get their on time for Christmas, will never use anyone else now to send a package overseas. Very happy customer, thank you.

I booked and paid for a booking…
I booked and paid for a booking including paying for insurance indemnity cover for loss or damage of my product. AFTER the carton was picked up by the courier - Pack and Send Springwood sent me an email stating I would only be covered for loss and not damage.
If i had known this before booking I would not have booked and booked elsewhere. The product turned up damaged to receiver and they wont' do anything about it.

Not happy hidden cost
Not happy hidden cost at customs an extra $161 To pay to realise item and threaten with a 30 a day fee if not paid in three days. To bad that I was overseas and had to organise someone to pay it. Then I get notification it was delivered. But USP had just dumped it at post office for them to deliver the next day. Never ever use pack n send again. It would have been half the price if I just posted it with auspost and no custom release fee.

Overall crap service.
Item wasn't scanned in on pick up, so thought it may have been stolen. Took 30 minutes on hold twice to finally discover it had been collected.
Arrived broken. This was a cast alloy engine cover. A big lump of metal. And they broke it.
Didn't want to know about the breakage. Said basically that's your problem, pal.
So: crap service. Broken in transit. Didn't care.

In all freight services there is the risk of damage and to compensate for any damages that may occur, we always recommend taking out the Freight Plus Warranty option with our shipments. This ensures a Warranty Claim can then be assessed if the goods are found to be in order with our online guidelines and not a POG (Prohibited Online Good). Again we apologies for this inconvenience and hope to see your business again in future.
