Panther Taxis Reviews 

After having issues with Panther taxis for many years, we decided to try them again last night.

Once again the app wasn’t working, so we phoned them and after CLEARLY AND SLOWLY asking the staff for a taxi several times, they had absolutely no idea where the address was that we needed picking up from, and where the destination was I was going to.

PLEASE CAN I HAVE A TAXI FROM BROWNS RESTAURANT ON TRUMPINGTON STREET CAMBRIDGE TO HIGH STREET PLEASE

The team are obviously not local or maybe even in the UK so have no local geographical knowledge, so communicating details of addresses is near on impossible and very frustrating. We wasted over 45 minutes and ended up getting a bus.

It’s about time these companies sorted themselves out, especially when vulnerable people need transport urgently.

Excellent all through out despite the website and app problems the rides and drivers were amazing

The operators are rude and useless. The drivers are usually decent but the app is shocking because the operators are not good at their job

Thank you to the lady receptionist who trusted us. My credit card was frozen due to being used in a different country, and we had to use cash to pay for our trip. Our collection point was from the Imperial War Museum. James, our driver was a gentleman, such a lovely man.
Highly recommended.

Ordered a car - it came on time, good journey no probs good price.
However I left my glasses on rear seat!!
Called next morning and asked to call back later when driver awake.
Did so and put in direct contact with driver who had glasses and was more than happy to drive quite a distance to my hotel and drop them off to me….. many thanks for this has restored my faith in human nature.
Will be using you again👍👍👍

Panther Cabs is absolutely awful. From call centre to app to of course driver .
Most bookings these days which are pre-booked in advance have last minute cancellations- e.g waiting on a driver to almost arrive then it suddenly gets cancelled and transferred to another driver much further away or when the time comes to book and the app offers to schedule a car , after filling in details it just says ‘can’t accept bookings at this time’ at my wits end with relying on the so called services provided by panther.very minuscule consideration for the actual well-being of clientele . Disgusting .

Avoid at all cost

Delayed pick up. Driver was falling a sleep while driving .

Pre-booked a taxi to take us to the station for a train to London. Taxi arrived 12 mins late and with rush hour traffic, was close to missing our train. Unnecessary stress when we were travelling for a hospital appointment. Driver was hugely unapologetic but this is no doubt down to the fact that he is probably sick of picking up unhappy customers due to Panther’s shoddy operation. Next time we’ll get the bus! Laughable that Cambridge bus service is now more reliable than Panther’s taxi service!

£40 for a taxi 8 minutes up the road!!!! Are you completely crazy. Please send me across your payment plan so we can see why the hell an 8 minute journey cost £40!!! I will be getting in touch with people to try and shut your awful excuse of a cab company down.

Called for a taxi at 535 to be picked up fro Colchester zoo to the train station , I have a 9 year old , a daughter that had recently had back surgery and a mum struggling to walk and we were left stranded apparently no booking, the guy we spoke to was not helpful no apology just said no booking and nothing would not recommend

Panther completely let us down when we pre booked a 5.30am taxi to take us Stansted to catch a flight yesterday. After 30 mins the dispatcher still couldn’t tell us when he would have a driver available for us, despite the fact that I booked several days in advance. Ended up having to drive ourselves which made a very stressful start to the holiday. Avoid at all costs. Having a booking means nothing. They don’t care about letting customers down.

I'm giving you one star only because I can't give you ZERO

We were down from Manchester at a family wedding. They didn't turn up for the time it was ordered. A large family group were waiting outside 15 minutes before pick up, but apparently they came nearly 20 minutes before pick up time and then said they couldn't send another to come back. What is the point of pre-ordering cabs if they can't turn up at the right time. We were left stranded late at night with young children tired and upset. Absolutely disgusting company who we would never use again when in Colchester.

What an absolute joke of a taxi firm, booked a taxi for 0015, been outside waiting since 0000 and the taxi firm send a message at 0005 stating they were outside and now they have left so would need to rebook.

They wasn’t outside at all and when I called the number to question then they lied blue in the face to me and laughed down the phone stating they was there at 0015.

Staff totally rude down the phone and lie through their teeth, not reliable.

The worse part is I have young kids that need to go back to our hotel!

Speaking on behalf of my mother she ordered a taxi for 9.30am on tuesday 26th of july to be at a dance class at 10am ,after several phone calls saying it was on it's way the taxi eventually turned up at 10 30 am {The person that took the first request booked it for 10 15 am } and eventually arrived at her destination at 10 40 am which put my mother in a bad mood and she did'nt enjoy the rest of the morning at all , judging by some of the reviews on trustpilot they dont seem to care if they let people down .

Not ever happening again.
Especially when its apparently a fixed price of £11 from anywhere in our village to anywhere in our village. We were literally in the car for 3 minutes. 😡😡😡

A friend of mine called a taxi for me. The ride was good, but both of our banks detected the transaction as fraud and blocked it. When my friend tried to contact the customer support, they were very arrogant and insolent instead of helping us to solve the issue.

Please save your money and choose another taxi service so you not promote such type of behavior.

Very bad service! Called a taxi for some friend, the driver barely knew any English and the customer service called and demanded the money rudely because the payment hadn’t gone through. Definitely not recommend! Almost missed a flight with the company’s lack of communication.

Usually excellent. If I could give minus stars I would for this booked taxi. Didn’t turn up despite pre booking. Disgusting amount of excuses, lack of care despite explaining had a couple of little ones in tow - turned up, but nearly 2 hours late. Seriously poor service. Well done 👏🏻 Panther for ruining what was otherwise a great night…
