Worst experience / customer service
Worst experience / customer service I’ve ever received.
They delivered using uber - we ordered direct. The uber driver got lost and when he finally arrived the pizza was stone cold. When we finally got through to the branch they were initially accommodating but then hung up on us mid conversation as we asked to speak with their manager- disgusting customer service
Good pizza, teenie weenie 'cookies'
Hastings branch, Good pizza, ordered some cookies to go with pizza.. they are tiny! Smaller than a digestive biscuit £3.29 for two tiny biscuits.
My last papajohn order.. shame.
Was once the best pizza in wrexham
Was once the best pizza in wrexham
It’s now the worse and delivery takes for ever, order for a business meeting with clients they’d been and gone and the food had still not arrived until 90 mins later and was cold.
Absolutely love their pizzas
Absolutely love their pizzas, very well flavoured, lovely stuffed crust and base. We use feed the fam, good price for what we receive. Delivery has always been around 30-40mins which i find very acceptable. Use regularly . Literally have never had any issues with them
Not good
Order took ages, had a message saying cancelled, but website tracking said on the way. Called them to ask if order was cancelled or on the way, the gentleman is immediately said it will be with you in a few mins, I said do you not want to ask which order? He seemed to want to get off the phone but asked for my address, I gave him the road name. He said it's definitely on its way. I waited another 25 mins then called again (app said it's with you, enjoy!) and another gentleman said it's definitely on the way. Pizza finally arrived, I was waiting at the open door and heard the driver knock on some random door at midnight before finding the right house, he greeted me with confusion about how house numbers work ("12, 14, 16, I don't know!")
The pizza itself was not nice. Still warm but just really not nice. Odd herbs in the tomato sauce. Cheap kebab shop garlic dip couldn't save it, either could a random McDonald's dip I had lying around. Threw most of it away.
Would not order again.
Terrible customer service from UK Head…
Terrible customer service from UK Head Office. They'll do everything they can to not refund you when a store screws up.
Well there is a reason I dont order…
Well there is a reason I dont order from Papa John's - and a reason I won't again
Ordered 4 pizzas. 3 were delivered. Queried this with the delivery driver "Call manager" I am told.
Called the Manager to complain "yes yes, 5-10 minutes" I am told.
30 mins later I call again and state not happy - No pizza delivered. Was told that the pizza originally was cold (according to driver) and they wanted to send a new one. I told him this was a lie and the driver had only bthree pizzas. Told the manager he was lying. He said I could complain. I said I was by speaking to him. He made unintelligible sounds and I gave up.
I guess when you speak to a fool, the response is probably going to be rubbish.
Avoid Papa John's Bedford. Delivery poor, manager unhelpful and pizza is mediocre.
I have used this company many many…
Barkingside Ilford Branch …I have used this company many many times in past and been happy but didn’t order for about a year due to been on diet 😅 Ordered today via papa johns website and was dismayed when received text from uber say they were delivering if id known they used uber drivers i wouldn’t have ordered.I did consider cancel but papa johns tracking said order was already in oven so i hoped be ok.IT WASNT took 20min from papa johns say food ready for it to be picked up then took another 45min to arrive despite shop been 5min drive away.Papa johns sent me delivered notification 20min before was actually delivered. The food was all cold not Luke warm but cold and honestly most of it went in bin.Very very disappointed and won’t use again

The pizza and tots delivered from the Watford- Market Street store were Burnt and ice cold.
When we rang the store, the staff said there is "nothing" we can do.
We cannot resend nor can we send you a refund nor a store credit.
Refused to give his name or even whem the manager would next be in.
When I said I will.habe to raise a complaint to the head office amd put this review here he simply said - its ok- do it
So rude and so unprofessional
We have ordered x2 pizzas
We have ordered x2 pizzas. After 50 minutes of waiting and no order we called the store, just to been advised that our order been sent by Uber driver and we have to contact them ourselves ( no any number to Uber driver provided!) I called store again, they said Uber couldn’t deliver due some road works ( no any road works here!) They will make another order and will be with us is 30 minutes, after 45 minutes I called store again coz still no ordered pizzas. The staff told they sent it again by Uber but she doesn’t now where is it.
So after 1.5 hours of my actual order I finally was able to claim refund. After second attempt staff didn’t want hear and offer to send another order.
Absolutely disgraceful and very poor customer service.

Bosh Bosh Bosh!!!
Bosh! Sarah’s customer service skills were on point (especially as I had about 5 questions before continuing to order).
Secondly Geoff was on point being your delivery driver! (Friendly, happy and upbeat).
What a team you have!

I would give 0 stars if I could
I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered 2x pizzas and 3x sides online & when the confirmation came through, there was no reference number for the order. There were also no pizzas on the order, so I called the branch (Bulwell, Nottingham). They confirmed no pizzas were ordered (although I have a screenshot confirming when they were ordered). They offered to put the order through for pizza, but we'd have to pay delivery again. They claimed that the order had left the premises, which was a lie because not enough time had passed between the order being put through and the call to them. The person on the call then laughed at me, as if I'm being stupid, I then asked to speak to the manager & they blatantly refused. I then asked them to cancel the order & they again refused. I was so infuriated, I put the phone down on them.
When the food that they claimed had already left arrived (after about 20 minutes, despite the store being less than a 5-minute drive), it was cold and bland.
The customer service was non-existant and though we've ordered from them previously, they will never get another penny from me.
Avoid at all costs
Ordered a deal, turned up cold and late despite pre ordering in advance, food awful, delivered late and cold. Staff abrupt and cold reason was they are busy but they had enough notice. Avoid at all costs go to Dominoes better food and service
The worst pizza chain with rude managers and useless staff.
Would give it zero.
Plymouth store at woolwell.
Took 1hr and 45 mins to deliver. I refused it and was offered it for free so took the pizza.
Pizza was lukewarm, they forgot the ice cream. Came back with vegan ice cream, wrong flavour 45 mins later.
Told me I’d get the pizza for free and then didn’t get a penny back. Just the worst pizza chain going. Shame because when it’s done right, it’s really good pizza but the people who run these places are idiots and don’t care about the brand.
Have used PJ for a long time but there’s just no way I’d use them again after that experience.
This is the probably the 5th time I…
This is the probably the 5th time I have ordered from the Haywards Heath branch and got a phone call after them confirming my order and taking my money saying they have no driver to deliver to me. However I can order from delivery no problem and get it delivered after them saying they can’t even get a third party to deliver it. Absolutely rubbish service.
