Top-shelf work, solicitous customer service, superb gifts for Dad
My wife surprised me with a bracelet from Papasplatz as an early Father's Day gift. We'd talked about things like Mother's rings, but something intended for men and representing each child in the family. I wanted something so comfortable and durable that I could wear it basically any time I could wear my wedding band. After all, fatherhood is a similar commitment. The jewelry should match.
Papasplatz delivered on all counts. The item they made was of top-grade waterproof leather and marine grade stainless steel, and the workmanship was superb.
The wrinkle here was a sizing issue. The bracelet was too long (my wife had guessed a medium and what we got was a large). How a maker deals with his own mistake is far more important to me than that the mistake. Papasplatz was quick to respond and equally quick to fix the mistake. I've dealt with other businesses who expected me to pay the shipping when their error necessitated shipping to start with. Papasplatz did not. They were courteous and communicative as well. Be aware that international orders are...well, international, with long shipping and customs. But things arrived as expected.

Ordered my husband a bracelet for Christmas (standard size) it was HUGE NOT STANDARD AT ALL. Fine, paid $40 to send it back and get resized to 19.5 cm wrist, came back after 10 days measuring a little more than 18.5 cm. Contacted them letting them know and send a picture of bracelet with measuring tape right above it to prove it and they told me that’s the size I ordered. Now I have a bracelet absolutely no one can use. Wasted not only money, but a whole lot of time. They refuse to give me a refund or find any solution for me. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! And no you don’t offer sizing for free is $15.00
Worse customer service in history. They didn’t even apologize for messing up the bracelet and refuse to give me a refund. Done with this company.OBVIOUSLY I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR ORDER EVER AGAIN….

I still have not received the bracelet and it was ordered weeks ago. My tracking number on the item says it is on the way, but the location of my package is still overseas.
