Location of the site is great and the glamping area was nice and quiet. The safari tent was okay. Very vary basic, lights didn't work outside which wasn't ideal. No cleaning items like sponge, washing up liquid or even a drying rack for the plates etc. No grill or toaster just a hob, microwave and kettle. Could be really lovely with a few other details.
The shower facilities were the worst for me, very old and shabby. Only hooks on the back of the doors but no where to put your shower bits not even a shelf. Made it extremly awkward with children.
The camp itself seemed very quiet, not alot going on. But we really did love the pool, that was the best bit for us. Not a very deep pool but it was nice and heated. The arcade and entertainment area also good, seemed newish.
Good for a long weekend but unfoetunately wouldn't return.

Just booked our 4th stay at West bay, absolutely love west bay, and the caravan park is sooooo central, everything is on your doorstep! Great places to eat and drink, great beaches especially if you have the good weather. Loads of places to visit just a short drive away too

The booking was really easy looking forward to our away break
Cheers

Re: Park Resorts Booking Ref: 12532775 Kessingland 15th June. Despite my letter of complaint, sent by recorded delivery on 1st July I have received nothing from this company. They acknowledged my complaint on Trustpilot, claimed to have e-mailed me then suggested I communicate with a bot! I have no confidence in this company and would advise anyone considering using them to think again.
To far away from everything when we had difficulty walking caravan covered in dog hair. Windows and mirrors not been cleaned in a long time bed uncomfortable overall cleaning below par

My daughter and I stayed at Looe Bay holiday resort.
A great location near Looe.
We both walked to Looe and back, once via Milendreath, and the second time straight down through Barbican, over the field and down the hill.
Very very scenic views on route. A killer of a walk but the sun was out.
The camp site is looking a little tired.
Restaurant food quite poor quality.
The takeaway food very expensive.
On-site shop has what you’d expect.
Caravan was basic but clean. Location on the park was good, number 285.
Very disappointed that the tv signal was very poor, but more importantly there was no internet.
Ended up phoning tech support to get online. They couldn’t resolve the issue over the phone so raised a ticket, so we would have had no TV or internet.
Imagine the grief you’d get from the kids.
I’m quite tech savvy so resolved the issue myself quite simply by rebooting the router.
Last year we stayed in the Bodmin lodge caravan, a completely different experience.
Would we stay here again? Yes.
I’d move to Cornwall if I could.
Honestly, we knew what we were getting, but for me, you can’t beat Haven Perransands.
Had a great stay at Looe Bay.
I will be back.
Easy to book, no hassle. Hopefully the holiday is the same..

The caravan was advertised as Gold Standard accommodation, but unfortunately it fell well below the standard we expected. There were virtually no basic amenities provided at all , not even hand soap. For a caravan advertised as Gold Standard, we expected at least the most basic provisions to be available, but there was essentially nothing provided.
The carpet was stained, and the fold-out bed, which was intended to be used as an actual bed as there were seven of us staying in the caravan, had an extremely thin and dingy mattress. It was completely unsuitable for sleeping on and resulted in the worst night’s sleep I’ve had in a very long time. The mattress was so uncomfortable that we were left with significant back pain and had to take painkillers throughout the weekend just to manage it.
The swimming pool was also extremely disappointing. The chlorine levels appeared to be completely unbalanced, as the water caused everyone’s eyes to sting, yet despite this, the pool water was still noticeably murky.
Overall, the accommodation, facilities and cleanliness were nowhere near what we would expect from Gold Standard accommodation. Given the price we paid, the condition of the caravan and the lack of even basic amenities were completely unacceptable.
Good place, my kids liked, there was a lot of things to do, the staff is helpful, and the weather was perfect

WITHERNSEA SANDS
Unfortunately, this caravan was disappointing, especially in terms of cleanliness and general condition.
We arrived nearly at 8pm, and I would like to mention that the security staff were very helpful and welcoming when we arrived.
However, when we entered the caravan, we immediately noticed several cleanliness and safety issues. When I pulled out one of the dining chairs, there appeared to be blood stains on the seat and also on the side of the chair. We were obviously very unhappy to find this, especially with three children with us. We had to move the chair aside near the bin.
There was also a broken folding chair. Although it somehow still supported the weight of my seven-year-old daughter, this was concerning and should have been noticed before the caravan was handed over to guests.
There were crumbs around the bedside cabinet which I initially didn't notice because they were a similar colour to the surface. I only realised when I lifted my phone from the area. When I looked underneath the bed, there was also litter.
There was a nail with a window tie left on the bed and another on the floor, which was particularly concerning with children staying in the caravan. There were also patches of what appeared to be poo on the exterior glass.
The cooking utensils had not been cleaned properly either, with what appeared to be leftover pasta sauce still on them.
There was also a strong smell of urine around the corner of the pool area. It was noticeable as soon as we entered.
I understand that the caravan had been cleaned and inspected before our arrival, but unfortunately the standard of cleaning we experienced made us question how thoroughly the final inspection had been carried out.
If cleaners are being given the time and resources to clean the caravans and there is also an inspection process afterwards, the issues we found should ideally have been identified and resolved before guests arrived.
I have booked a holiday for September, however I am informed that there’s a problem with ID, however I haven’t been informed what the problem is?
I have submitted four emails, engaged in two web chats and phoned. Numerous time. To date no one had got back to me. The web chat was non existent, so I’m not sure if anyone was on the other end!
Communication with this company is dire, and in the 21st century I am surprised that no one isn’t at the end of a phone, or able to respond to an email or engage in a web chat.
I am informed that the company will cancel my holiday if the ID isn’t approved, so are they going wait until I arrive on the 14 September to let me know this nugget of information. Shocking and very inconvenient, all for a four day break !!

The caravan was clean and spacious for four people . The surroundings were clean and the atmosphere was calm and quiet . The kids swimming area is slightly small and the shower facilities need updating at the node point park . Overall kids swimming facilities were a disappointment

We booked two caravan holidays through the Sun Holidays promotional offer for Camber Sands, both identical, same dates, same price, £262 each once you add on all the extra "Hub Pass" and "Newspaper Upgrade" charges they don't properly explain at booking. Turns out those charges are compulsory regardless of how many people you're actually travelling with, so don't expect a discount for a smaller party.
On arrival, one caravan had 2 bedrooms as expected. The other, exact same price, exact same promo, only had 1 bedroom. We were a family of 3. When we went to reception to sort it out, we were told there was "nothing they could do," that we'd have to sleep on the sofa, and that it was "nothing to do with Parkdean," we needed to contact Sun Holidays. Except Sun Holidays don't have a customer service line, which we told her, and she still had no answer. We asked to speak to a manager and were told the person we were speaking to WAS the supervisor and couldn't help. We could actually hear other staff at reception talking about the mistake between themselves.
The sofa bed we were told to sleep on for 3 nights was disgusting. Worn through, maybe 2 inches thick, you could feel every spring through it. We pulled it out to find wrappers and dirt underneath that clearly hadn't been cleaned. A rep who came round the next morning was visibly shocked when we told her and brought us extra quilts, so even their own staff knew this wasn't right.
We complained formally after the holiday. Parkdean's "investigation" came back denying everything, claiming the two chalets were "both suitable" because they both technically slept 4, completely ignoring that we paid the exact same price with zero way of knowing one had half the bedrooms. They also brushed off the sofa bed photos as "not evidencing a cleanliness failure," despite what we experienced. We pushed back and were told we'd be "escalated" to their head office team. That was weeks ago. Total silence since.
If you're considering the Sun Holidays promo with Parkdean, please think twice. You have no idea what accommodation you'll actually get for your money, their reception staff will tell you it's not their problem, and their complaints process is designed to wear you down until you give up. We won't be using Parkdean or Sun Holidays again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
really helpful from start ensuring we had the best experinces thus great memories to boot.

Just left from our 3 days at oceans edge. We had a brilliant time as a family. Megan and freya were brilliant from entertainment team especially at their kazooo playing mt bf now favourite thing to do (annoyingly) haha. Caravan was spotless beds were very comfy. Everything was easy to book or pay for. We will be back.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location is amazing for beaches and alton towers was only 2 hour drive.

HOLYWELL BAY.
Shambles. Caravans are dirty and in poor state. Absolutely covered in cobwebs and dirt. Paid for 7 full meals in ellenglazebar. Food was brought out with half the meal missing and was told we have run out it's tough. That happened twice. So we were buying meals but only getting some of the food. No wifi unless you pay £30. How ridiculous is that!!
⭐ 1-STAR REVIEW – ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
I am absolutely appalled by the condition of the caravan we were given at Cayton Bay. What was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday has been completely ruined by the state of the accommodation.
From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the caravan had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard. It was dirty, and the overall condition was nowhere near what you would reasonably expect when paying for holiday accommodation.
But the worst and most unacceptable issue was discovering DOG FLEAS IN THE BED. Yes — fleas where we were expected to sleep. This is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. Nobody should have to get into a bed on holiday and discover fleas, especially when the accommodation is supposed to have been cleaned and prepared for new guests.
The fact that there were fleas in the bed raises serious questions about how thoroughly this caravan is actually cleaned and checked between guests. We should not have to worry about bringing fleas home with us, having them on our belongings or dealing with the consequences after our holiday.
On top of this, we also feel that the caravan was misleadingly advertised regarding the balcony. The way the accommodation was advertised gave us the clear impression that we were booking a caravan with a balcony, yet what we were actually provided with did not match what we reasonably believed we had booked. If an important feature such as a balcony isn't included, it should be made completely clear before someone pays for their holiday.
We paid our money expecting a clean, hygienic and accurately advertised caravan. Instead, we were left dealing with dirt, fleas in the bed and accommodation that did not match our expectations from the listing.
This isn't simply a case of the caravan being a little tired or needing a better clean. Fleas in a bed is a serious hygiene issue and completely unacceptable in holiday accommodation.
Cayton Bay really needs to look seriously at how this accommodation is being inspected and cleaned between guests. Had we known the condition of the caravan beforehand, we would never have booked it.
This experience has left us extremely disappointed, angry and concerned about what we may have brought home with us. A holiday should not involve worrying about fleas in your bed.
Absolutely unacceptable. We would NOT stay in this caravan again and would strongly advise anyone booking to check exactly what accommodation they are being given and what is actually included.
We booked a very late 3 night stay for 5. Booking was very easy and a bonus that they accept blue light card discount. On arrival, the caravan was exceptionally clean, well equipped and as described on booking. We had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed and staff were attentive, extremely helpful and delivered. All interactions with staff were great and informative, despite them being obviously very busy. The facilities were as described, yes the site has some tired areas that could do with refreshing but don’t affect the stay. The location is fantastic, the beach (Cayton bay) being the biggest asset. Had a fabulous short, well needed break with the family.
On arrival we spent the first hour and a half cleaning until security came as we asked for a mop and bucket and he told us to stop and they moved us for the night! Caravan was filthy, cupboard doors hanging off in the kitchen, ants everywhere, sofas filthy and the whole place smelt of dog! There was a dirty cloth on the floor, the TV had come off the wall, the lino was lifting, cobwebs on the radiators, a broken dvd player with a screw someone had poked in there. Bathroom smelt of urine, the caravan was old, needed refurbishing let alone a deep clean! We couldn't unpack as they told us we could only stay for one night. The next day a rather unbothered manager Blythe said we had to go back, they would clean it but there was nothing available. The clean was done around 4.30pm! When we went to check it, it smelt awful so we refused to stay, we offered to pay for an upgrade, they did then move us to a two bedroom when we had booked a three but this was cleaner and not derelict! Our holiday improved from there. It's a real shame as Trecco Bay as a whole is a lovely place with lots to do, fab entertainment but the vans really let them down. We were not once offered any compensation, only when we checked out and I asked how we make a formal complaint, the lovely Megan spoke to Blythe who then offered us a food and drink voucher or a discount on another booking. As we were about to leave we chose the discount which we are able to use on any site. The whole experience was very stressful and upsetting, I also have a disability and the constant back and for to reception was not great at all. Trecco Bay really needs to do better get rid of the outdated, not fit for purpose caravans and employ more cleaners!
