POOR SERVICE. DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY CARAVAN AND NO RESPONSE TO MY COMPLAINT MADE VIA EMAIL.
IF YOU WANT BLOOD STAINED MATTRESSES, STALE SMOKE CARAVAN AND ROTTEN MOULDY FOOD LEFT IN THE OVEN THEN BOOK A PARKDEAN CARAVAN.
We had a nice time and the caravan was ok - the beds were clean and the kitchen had what it needed but the entrance floor and bathroom floor were very dirty. I don’t think they’d ever been mopped. When I washed my face in the bathroom the water went on the floor and it went all muddy and dirty. I shouldn’t feel the need to buy a mop and cleaning items when I go on holiday. I think this a point I should make so it’s better in the future. We enjoyed our stay and will come back but will go for a better caravan next time. It’s just in the summer months the prices are very high - too high for what we had, and at the very least the floors should be clean. Children play on them.
Not the easiest website to navigate when trying to locate information. We specifically chose the Newquay park because our children love to swim. We booked in some extra activities too! Really disappointed to discover you even need to book the pool for a bit of a swim and there will be no space for us to swim at any point during our stay in any of the 3 pools the website boasts. Really disappointing because this is the main reason for choosing the site. We are now not really looking forward to our stay on the site and are dubious about what else we will need to book/bring. Apparently we even need to bring our own toilet roll and washing up equipment for a luxury lodge!!!
We come to southveiw often and it’s a lovely site for old and younger.
The location of this park to enjoy a stunningly beautiful part of Scotland is worth the trip alone, 10 minutes away you can park at spots along loch tummel and swim or kayak or just relax, amazing walks and a cool castle and gardens nearby
We spend Great time with family and friends, football, mini golf, beach
We stayed at Sunnydale, on arrival our key didn’t open the caravan I had to go back and get a new one.
The park is more suited to people with younger children, it’s a lovely small park with a small Play park, a small arcade, it’s very dog friendly and club house, as well as a pool you have to book in advance, which is understandable in a holiday park, the sessions where a maximum of 45 minute. My husband said the life guards where not helpful when he went into gain informations and they came across unbothered and where eating (mouth full) whilst talking to him also.
Sadly the caravan experience itself on arrival was not great. There were crumbs on the side in the kitchen. The toilet seat lids(both toilets) were stained with urine. Behind the toilet it appeared not to have been cleaned as urine and dust were there too. But the smell of bleach from in the toilet was strong.
The sofa was dirty and had a rip in it. Over night we noticed a few other unhygienic issues and a spider that was in a glass under one of the beds, it had been there for a while going by the dent in the carpet and the web in the glass. The curtain end fell off in the room narrowly missing my daughter. The bedding was ripped and other bedding had black marks over it.
Saturday morning, I went and spoke to the very helpful member of staff who listened and apologised for our experience. They offered to move our caravan and showed us the new one. Which they insured would be cleaned for when we got back from going out for the day.
The new caravan was cleaner, only issue was the toilet seat was broken but they fixed this when I reported it.
Despite the initial issues we had a lovely stay. The staff including security were helpful and very friendly, we truly appreciated all their help and the vouchers where a lovely touch
The food served in the club house my family said was really lovely, sadly I didn’t eat as they didn’t cater for vegans and their vegetarian options were very limited. I would say food and drinks are a little pricey but enjoyable. The staff in the club house/bar were very friendly and helpful.
Overall a lovely and quiet park, great for short peaceful stays.
Very easy, straightforward, and all well explained in booking. Great price too!
I have booked a holiday for November at Bowness in the Lake District we have been here before a few times and had great experiences so I am hoping this will be the same the booking experience was great really easy to do and loved the discount we received off the holiday price really reasonable price
I was a pleasure to book with Parkdean by phone and actually speak to a human being for once. We actually got a discount as the class of caravan we wanted had all been booked and the person went over and above to get us 2 caravans near to each other and at a similar price to what we originally required. Would definitely phone next time we go

I booked and paid almost £900 for a caravan with disabled facilities, on arrival reception claimed that l had not and was offered a caravan with no disabled facilities whatsoever. I was obliged to abandon the holiday and return home. £900 lighter.

Location of the site is great and the glamping area was nice and quiet. The safari tent was okay. Very vary basic, lights didn't work outside which wasn't ideal. No cleaning items like sponge, washing up liquid or even a drying rack for the plates etc. No grill or toaster just a hob, microwave and kettle. Could be really lovely with a few other details.
The shower facilities were the worst for me, very old and shabby. Only hooks on the back of the doors but no where to put your shower bits not even a shelf. Made it extremly awkward with children.
The camp itself seemed very quiet, not alot going on. But we really did love the pool, that was the best bit for us. Not a very deep pool but it was nice and heated. The arcade and entertainment area also good, seemed newish.
Good for a long weekend but unfoetunately wouldn't return.

Just booked our 4th stay at West bay, absolutely love west bay, and the caravan park is sooooo central, everything is on your doorstep! Great places to eat and drink, great beaches especially if you have the good weather. Loads of places to visit just a short drive away too

Re: Park Resorts Booking Ref: 12532775 Kessingland 15th June. Despite my letter of complaint, sent by recorded delivery on 1st July I have received nothing from this company. They acknowledged my complaint on Trustpilot, claimed to have e-mailed me then suggested I communicate with a bot!
