Parkgate Mobility Reviews 

I contacted Parkgate Mobility to book a service. The telephone staff were bright, cheerful, and very helpful, and they repeatedly checked that I fully understood what was involved with the service of my mobility scooter. Philip was the engineer that came to complete the service, and he was a friendly & very conscientious worker; he explained what the service entailed and treated my scooter with great care. He even gave it a light waxing, which I consider to be going the extra mile, he is a credit to his company , I highly recommend him and his company.

I first contacted this company, a couple or so years ago, to arrange a stairlift taking out of my relatives house, and fitting in my house. They arranged and completed the job quickly and efficiently.

I have since then, had Fred come to service the stairlift. When calling to make the appointments, I have not had long to wait, I am given a morning or afternoon and the engineer calls about 30 mins prior, to let me know he is on the way.
Fred is friendly, works diligently and quietly and makes sure everything is running smoothly and as it should be.
I have no hesitation in recommending Parkgate as a Company and Fred in particular.

Adrian at the Wakefield site was very helpful when we had gone in on Thursday 9th April. Needed to find a wheel chair for my mum and he was very knowledgeable.

I went to the Batley store on 9th April and was assisted by Bernie who was an absolute gem. She was extremely patient with all my questions and trying out products again and again to be sure that I choose the right product for myself. I chose the Genie Folding Mobility Scooter and I am extremely happy with it. Bernie also explained to me about the insurance and I have called Mark Bates and sorted that today too. Without Bernie's help, I would still be confused and most likely looking for the right one. So glad I went to the store and now can feel a little independent when going out or shopping with my 3 children. Thank you Bernie @ Parkgate Mobility.

My husband and l visited the new shop at Swinton. We were both very impressed by the shop assistant. Very good informative service. She demonstrated how to dismantle and reassemble a mobility scooter for the car. Helpful and pleasant.

My sister has just bought a New mobility scooter from parkgate mobility Wakefield,the salesman Adrian,was very professional and courteous,he explained everything clearly including the operation of the scooter and the paperwork, insurance and care .he also had the scooter delivered the same day.an excellent salesman in a excellent company,we cannot fault them, thanks again.

Lovely friendly service from Sam in the Hillsborough branch, very knowledgeable and took lots of time to explain how the frames worked with my dad. Definitely would recommend x

Parkgate Mobility, Pontefract.
I can’t recommend Parkgate Mobility in Pontefract highly enough. Helen and Jayne are friendly, helpful and professional. When you walk into the shop you are always greeted with a smile and an upbeat hello.

I have needed to use this shop for my Mum over the last year and the amazing service is consistent. I recently needed to get a high back chair quickly and Jayne pulled out all of the stops to make it happen on a bank holiday weekend. Matt delivered the chair, brought it in and made sure it was suitable for Mum. He chatted to us the whole time he was here and made it clear that if Mum wasn’t happy with the chair he would happily take it back. Amazing staff and amazing service! Thank you.

Always have Wayne to service my mobility scooter, it's nice to have the same person and you get to know them and build up trust. He's a lovely genuine man. It's good that the cost hasn't increased otherwise I wouldn't be able to have it serviced every year.

Visited the Wakefield branch with my dad last week looking to buy a mobility scooter. Adrian was great, really patient, and answered all our questions. Adrian went through how to operate the scooter with my dad and made sure he had a test drive and was comfortable with it before he bought it. Price was great and delivery was fast.

Darren was so helpful told me all about it how things went with doing it for first time on mobility scheme and showed me how things worked on dash board and made me feel so at ease with it so was able to use it comfortably.

Thank you so much to Ian and his colleague at Retford who went above and beyond recently when my husband was in an accident and we urgently needed a number of mobility assistance items and a rise and tip chair to enable him to recover at home. They were extremely helpful and accommodating and even delivered the chair within 24hrs making a significant difference to our ability to make my husband comfortable during his recovery.

Today i had a full set of new solid tyres fitted by Mick,i would just like to say he was very friendly and curtious,he was also efficient and he came on the alloted time.

keith at castleford was very helpful he showed us all the chairs without trying to get us to buy a particular one the choice off chairs we bought became our own preference a brilliant shop assistance i would highly recommend. thank you very much keith.

Brilliant five-star service by Kev A, a Parkgate mobility engineer, completing the repair a day ahead of schedule just because he happened to be in my area and well under the 30-minute free labour limit included in my callout - top notch service would definitely recommend him to anyone I know who uses or has purchased services from Parkgate mobility and will definitely be asking for him by name if I need any future repairs

We went to the Wakefield store to look at a mobility scooter and were greeted by Adrian. He talked us through the options available based on dad’s needs and answered all our questions. He also brought to our attention that dad’s walking stick was too short, and therefore he was stooping. One adjustable left handed stick was trialed and he was like a different person. Adrian was great, not pushy at all and very knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend a visit ( and hopefully Adrian will be working)
