Full bathroom make over

My mum had a full makeover for her bathroom. Bath removed , walk in shower and basin and WC . This company was efficient , professional and did a sterling job. The main ingredient was Suki Singh , his work is exemplary and he was courteous and considerate at all times. A rare gem. Thank you once again.

Garage leaking problems

I bought a large double garage from Passmores to go with our existing Passmores stables. I asked them if they could recommend a firm that could lay the concrete base. They could not do so and they did not have any names of firms used in the past. I asked them to erect the garage in contact with the stables. They said they would not be able to do that so I got some local helpful workmen to do it. These workmen had no trouble doing so. To fit the up and over garage door needed a flat surface inside the garage as expected. The surface was not flat as some of the area was boarded and some had not been boarded. I had to remove the rather thin board and replace it with thicker board over the whole area around the opening to enable the door installer to fit the door. Passmores paperwork stated that they could not guarantee the strength of the walls against wind loads because of the wide door opening. If they had used the thicker board over the whole area around the opening, I feel sure that they would not have needed this get out clause. Even though the builders did a good job erecting the garage each wall panel joint leaks water into the garage staining the building paper and wetting the floor. The garage was draughty and hundreds of spiders got in because there were gaps all the way round between the tops of the side panels and the roof. Passmores said this was normal. I asked if I could buy and collect matching stripwood from them to cover the gaps. They said no I would have get matching wood from local timber merchants or wait for weeks while they cut some up for me. I could not find a stockist that could supply matching wood so I made 30 off individual pieces of board to cover the gaps in the eaves from the inside. I informed them of these problems but their after sales service was minimalist, unhelpful, even dismissive.
