Refuses to delete my account. They suspended it (due to "suspicious activity"? I haven't used the account in years so whatever.) and I just said, hey I'm not asking for my account to be reinstated. Delete it as per my GDPR "right to be forgotten". They have disregarded my legal right on multiple occasions. They refuse to delete my account, even though it may be a security risk to myself (after all, I don't know what "suspicious activity" means in the practical sense. Account takeover? Or something else? Are my bank details exposed?) Honestly, baffling behaviour. Never join Patron because apparently you can never leave!

Suspended my account, didnt explain why, didnt respond to nearly 15 emails over a 2 month period and instantly refunded over 40 sales and withheld subscription money from people that wanted to support me completely separate from the product I had for sale, and stole that money too, all without any answer.

Ive moved my product to Sellfy and literally tripled my sales which tells me Patreons payment options, visibility and usability were not acceptable to begin with. So happy they suspended my account but wished they would at least have told me why and let me appeal to which I still would have cancelled with them but felt like I wasnt scammed.

Absolute scam.

They do not actually respond or read your support questions. It is automated copy and paste responses and they will not help you get a refund with creators who scam you.

I do not know what they do. They put a ad on top of my screen that was not welcome and hard to get rid of. They must be scammers and online criminals to have to resort to that. I will never do business with dirt balls like that

I don't know why, but I just got an email out of blue from this company called PATREON.

A friend told me it's probably a criminal gang.

They told me in their email that "my subscription is switched to paying mode". I never heard of them until now! I don't even know what they are selling! Subscription for what!!!

In my email to this gang, I said the following :

"I don't want this subscription!!! And I am NOT INTERESTED!!!

I have already sent your email to the consumer protection organization in Norway as well as the Ministry of industry with my complain filed as a case of business fraud.

Please stop harassing me as you will NOT GET ANYWHERE!

I have already talked to my bank so that they will stop any claim from you.

In the meantime, I will write my experience on Trustpilot on your company. On everage, one negative review will reduce the possibility of getting 1000-2000 potential users, if you know anything about the power of social media. And I will use other media too, Facebook, Twitter, Medium, X, Telegram just to show how nasty group of criminals you really are.

I am a retired person and I have plenty time to fight you. Want to try?"

For anyone who has been scammed or potentially scammed like myself, you know PATREON don't even dare to give you an email address. They send you an email through No-reply email only. But you can write them to : partnerships(at)patreon.com

Clearly this is a group of criminals the Interpol should deal with a long time ago. And all the weak and careless people exploiters in the governments in Europe should get hard kicks in their ass and set out to do something for the people who voted for them.

In beginning she contacted me through Instagram, where we started talking, first friendly then with romantic intentions, in the start she told about her Patreon account, where she do porn, nudes and such content.
I subbed on her Patreon while communicating with her in IG, we had our ups and downs, we agreed for her to come meet me here in Denmark, so i send her money for tickets €172 + €250 for help with a new iphone, last was some she wanted to know i was serious.
departure and return was set to 12th of august and 19th of august, some before departure she said her grandpa was about to die and we agreed for her to cancel trip and go later, when he's death happened, she didn't communicate much, later communication got better, we had some disputes because i talked with other women, she also wanted me to support her monthly with around €150-200 per month, luckily i never got to support her monthly.
I told her some time ago, that a relationship starts when meeting in real life, because chemistry can't happen online, but the latest days she ended it because of a lie about another lady, but now to the point with this review, the last couple of days i've wondered about her breast size difference in her photos, some are they big other small, then i downloaded the photos to Google them and one of them showed that it came from a video shooting with porn actor Lilu Moon doing an anal scene, where she had face swapped her face on (or maybe some one else's face on) and she didn't deny it, but said "that's the business" so seems everything she adds in her Patreon is face and body swapped and maybe she's not even the one she says she is, but what i want is for Patreon to look at it and delete her account.
I would even say that they should refund what i've spent on her account, because i have not gotten the real thing.

So my advice, never buy porn, you can watch it free on pornhub, not even if trying to start a relationship with an adult content creator, amateur or experienced.

Another advice please keep far away from this Anaïs Delillers in IG and Patreon, she is fake.
Another thing, she made a voice message to me, saying that she is not fake, but i'm not sure if it's a specific French accent or an African accent, because it could sound over in the African accent, but i'm not sure.

Patreon is run by criminals. They lock subscribers out of their account by deleting them - except their credit card info. So they continue stealing money from people, but we can't log on to unsubscribe. We can't see any videos either. Only solution is to have the bank closing your payment card, which cost a fee + another fee to get a new payment card.

I did manage to get hold of their support team - and everybody who replied had Russian names.

Sadly, many of the other teaching platforms have similar problems.

Just stay away from Patreon.

This is literally the WORST FUNDING PLATFORM EVER!
1) It takes them MORE THAN ONE WEEK to give you your first payout, because their employees are VERY FEW and you need to spam them in different emails so that they wake up.

2) They hold....20% FROM EVERY SUBSCRIPTION!! SERIOUSLY? The classic "VAT Charge" and OF COURSE they send NO INVOICES to your company.

Who are you? The tax department or something?

3) You are allowed to withdraw money ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS!
You found extra tricks to hold people's money. Right?

4) Not to mention that if you change a payment method it needs like 24 hours for the changes to take effect.

Somebody make ONE Platform with EASY TO USE USER INTERFACE like Patreon and we will go there instantly!

I setup my account as podcast then I got flagged for suspicious activity i just set up my account lol what bad customer service no explanation why my account was flagged I email got no reply bad as big as company they should have better service taking my business elsewhere

Was getting double charged. No way of contacting support. There is no support team for a company this large that is processing this many monthly transactions and payments. Absolutely absurd business. Will not be using Patreon ever again. When asking how to contact support, you get a page that is a wall of text that basically leads to, "Ask us on Twitter except we can't actually help with anything important that you'd be contacting support about." Essentially telling their most loyal customers to F off. I'm done with this phony company. Also, some of the policy changes they've made have limited creators and I will find other ways to support the ones I care about.

I turned off all email notifications, still get spams
I disabled all email notifications, yet I kept getting flooded with spam. Even after deleting my account, they continued to send spam. When I reached out to complain, they responded with instructions to log in, which is ridiculous since I’m no longer a member. To make matters worse, ever since signing up, the amount of spam I receive has multiplied tenfold, likely because they sell their email lists to shady third parties. This company needs to be shut down immediately—please, EU and US authorities, take action!

They just blocked my account and for no reasons and don’t allow to withdraw my money

Patreon has cheated me for $ 3000, which I earned before the deadline of ID verification.

I have not been allowed to withdraw my balance under the pretext that it is under verification, and I have been waiting for two months without any benefit, and there is no technical support!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't received any messages, and I have sent them many, many times without any use.

For a huge company to not have a phone number is unacceptable. I wanted to first start off making that statement; kind of a HUGE red flag in business. Can’t afford a flip phone? Or intentionally avoiding your issues?

Just wanted to share that Alex over at Patreon likes to swindle people that don’t know they’ve sign up, utilized or even have familiarity with this service.

Never once have I used this service, I have no reason to.

But nonetheless, after nine months of being incorrectly charged and two months of emails exchange with documents and pictures, I get told to go screw myself and they don’t care who signed up that’s their money know and they REFUSE to remove my card from their systems and continuously charge me every month. Can’t even live with $5 in my account, why? Because Alex is ready gonna take it.

So know you can go screw yourself Alex.

I received ABSOLUTELY NO renewal notifications for a yearly Patreon account subscription I purchased last year; a charge was posted TODAY on my credit card for another year of membership, and I can't get a refund! Patreon does not issue refunds, and there is no way to contact them to dispute the charge. The only thing stated on the site is to appeal directly to the host/ creator of the Patreon account for a refund. This is nothing short of a scam!

I had changed my email address with Patreon a full year ago but their software does NOT clear the previously used address! Total confusion is therefore no surprise. What is surprising is that the site then instantly deactivates the account, making the expected payment/contribution void. As you can imagine, since a personal email address is changed, so is the email address used by the source of payment – and that is not changed by Patreon either, making the attempt to pay null and void! Worse, there is NO advisement that the expiry date for the account is imminent. Instant deactivation, again! It took SIX days for Patreon to respond as to what is going on with their purported “service”. And what is required to re-instate the account is absurdly onerous for the client, the assumption being that each client is fully and exclusively focused on Patreon as the only app/service in existence, Patreon as center of the client’s universe, asked to provide and list amounts and depth of detail that none but the most obsessively fastidious people would see fit to keep tabs on. Still worse, at least in my case, is that exposition of the problem, as simple as it is, was entirely misconstrued by agents who obviously are challenged in reading beyond a grade 5 level of skill! Presumably, as long as NOTHING is ever changed in a client’s account, Patreon’s rickety, inefficient, and fallible software will maintain the illusion that they are actually doing a good job on your behalf. The truth is drastically different, Patreon seems to be populated by a management whose only skill is siphoning off fees from clients duped into thinking that theirs is a competently supervised service.

I've bought one month of membership on one creator, and when next month was about to come, i wanted to cancel my membership, but patreon blocked my account without any reason, i wasnt even active on there, i just paid so i would be able to download one file... Then i sent message to support, i didnt get any message from them, and still this problem isnt solved and its charging me on monthly basis... Scammers...

Disgusted! Cancelled my membership over a year ago to suddenly discover today, I am being charged for a cancelled membership.
Contacted Patreon, they directed me to creator says they can't do anything and Creator not responding to me.
Now experiencing issues with trying to gain access - funny that!
