My colleague and I attended a two-day photography course with Paul on the South Bank, which we thoroughly enjoyed and which equipped us with a comprehensive toolkit for taking decent photos for work. Paul is a great teacher, he kept the momentum going throughout, frequently testing us to check that we'd taken everything on board. He explained everything in terms we understood and didn't overcomplicate the science for us. I particularly enjoyed taking photos of the river in challenging light and the nearby Leake Street Arches. I've been using my newfound skills and feel far more confident now that I have a clearer idea of how to balance a photo using the Exposure Triangle. Thanks, Paul!

My wife and I recently completed a day's photography course with Paul. We had a superb day and walked away with much more knowledge and more importantly the ability to put that knowledge into practice. We started from very different points but Paul's way of coaching enabled us both to get much from the day. He doesn't try to bamboozle you with jargon, it's simple to understand the points he is making and this makes for a very worthwhile experience. This course has certainly given us confidence to push our photography to a higher level and we can't wait to put our new found skills to the test on our upcoming safari.

I had a day with Paul working on my underwater photography. He was brilliant! I am so grateful for his detailed help and tuition. He quickly ascertained what I wanted to achieve and his detailed advice and direction on photography techniques, advice on equipment and photo editing was excellent: thank you Paul! We took Pauls videography course in Birmingham back in March and it was excellent from start to finish. His style of teaching is a mix of talking through the theory and then getting out onto the streets to put the theory into practice. Me and my colleague throughly enjoyed and took away so much from this course and have been putting what we learnt into practice as much as possible.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Paul’s course! As a complete beginner, I was feeling unsure of where to start, but Paul made everything so accessible and enjoyable. His teaching style is incredibly clear, patient, and engaging, and he really took the time to explain the technical aspects in a way that was easy to understand.

What really stood out to me was how Paul not only taught the mechanics of using the camera but also inspired me with his passion for filmmaking. Paul really listened to what our learning goals were. He took it from basics to more advanced at right pace. Good advice re getting the right kit at a budget we could afford. Very hands on course which suited me. Bit more time doing the video editing maybe but we covered a lot of other ground. Covered everything I wanted in a 1 day course. Excellent teaching skills. Spent a couple of days with Paul on a 1: 1 videography course. Quite simply - it was superb. The pace, the detail, the ground we covered was all brilliant. Paul's ability to suss out his client almost instantly and then pitch the course to their needs was very impressive. I came away not only technically more aware, but also inspired to go and try out my new found techniques and skills. Cannot recommend Paul highly enough.

I did a studio lighting course with Paul. I went knowing very little about the subject, I left much the wiser and full of confidence. I learnt way more than I thought I would in a one day course. I will be returning to do another course in the near future. Delighted with the knowledge I learnt and the course I undertook.

Myself and my daughter booked a photo training day with Paul. Paul identified what we required to enhance our photography and he knew exactly what we required. His explanations of the processes was easy to follow and understand. Our photos now look sharp and more professional.

Myself and my wife went on Paul's Filmmaking day in Newquay, unfortunately the weather wasn't the best but that didn't stop Paul providing and extremely interesting and wonderful day about using your dslr to produce video. His knowledge in the subject was outstanding and taught it in a way to make it interesting and fun to do. We covered all basic subjects about using your dslr from setting it up to using and editing your results as well. I would highly recommend Paul he's a great guy and very knowledgeable.

An amazing day of drone flying instruction – highly recommended. 5 stars!
As complete novices, Paul introduced us to the world of drone flying for photography and video. He was prompt, engaging and so friendly. He tailored the entire day to our needs and we spent the maximum amount of time flying the drone.
After a quick briefing (health & safety, legal and designing our experience around our needs) we were flying a drone! Such an exciting experience and Paul was quick to hand over the controls. We were very nervous but Paul was reassuring and helpful in instructing us in its care and control.
We visited several locations to fly the drone (which was also a great opportunity to see the local area) and quickly learnt drone photography and videography methods and techniques. By the end, we had learnt so much and felt confident in using a drone.
Many thanks, Paul for a wonderful day – so hands on and engaging for the both of us. The time simply evaporated and we learnt so much, including gaining confidence to fly our own drone.

I enjoyed my hour session on Teams. As a novice, I was worried I was too basic for his guidance but not at all. He was very patient and explained what was good and what could be improved on a selection of photos. Then explained how to get more out my camera to improve my photography. I learned so much in a short time and look forward to using what I learned. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for more tuition in the future.

I cannot recommend Paul’s photography course enough. We had a fantastic time learning how to confidently use our cameras and by the end of the day I felt much more competent and reassured as a beginner photographer.

Paul was great company and a professional teacher who explained theory in an accessible way and then helped us put our learning into practice on the wonderful beaches of Newquay. I started off the course being almost afraid to use my camera for fear of getting it wrong, (always defaulting to my mobile phone for photos instead). However, I ended the course excited about what my camera is capable of now that I have the newly acquired knowledge from Paul to use it.

It was a really enjoyable day and well worth doing.
