Great customer service, Steve from Pavestone is always just a phone call away if we ever need anything. A wide range of quality products and if there's an item which our local building supplier doesn't stock it's never to much trouble to sort out. We even used some of the Pavestone range at an exhibition garden for the BBC gardeners world fair which loads of people made positive comments on the quality of the porcelain tiles supplied by Pavestone. Great company to deal with. I requested some samples of their resin products and found their customer service, really efficient. I have also contacted them in the past with a couple of queries regarding the Indian sandstone I had purchased. They were very helpful and replied promptly with great suggestions.

Disappointing …
I have to agree with a previous reviewer. We were recommended Pavestone by our landscaper and builder. It was completed in March and were recommended Pavestone as it looked fantastic and would be low maintenance. It shows every mark from footsteps to bird mess and wet dog paws. We are constantly washing and sweeping to try and keep it clean. We now have pots with feet and the staining from every watering is intolerable. A rep from Pavestone has been to admire it and the builder has been back to high pressure hose it before photographers spent a long day for their upcoming brochure. We are very disappointed but in its favour it looks good when clean and very safe to walk on in wet weather. But would not recommend if you’re looking for low maintenance.

Porcelain paving is easier to clean compared to other paving products. This is because porcelain tiles are vitrified during the manufacturing process under extreme heat, which creates a “glazed” non-porous, hard as glass surface. In comparison, concrete and stone paving tiles have porous surfaces that allow dirt and algae spores to penetrate the paving, making it difficult to restore them to a ‘like new’ state, without significant scrubbing and applied chemical cleaners. Porcelain, conversely, can usually be cleaned with soapy water and with a patio cleaner, to remove any heavy soiling, relatively easily, to return it to a ‘like new’ condition.
However, it should be recognised that different environments and conditions can affect how often a paved area in the garden needs to be cleaned. For example, in wooded areas, especially when surrounded by trees, more frequent cleaning will be required when compared to less rural environments. The time of year also has an impact; for instance, in autumn, fallen leaves can temporarily stain if left to decompose, and bird excrement, especially after berry eating, can also necessitate the need to clean more frequently.
The choice of colour for a garden paving will also influence the amount of cleaning required. In wooded or rural areas, brown and grey colours will require less frequent cleaning as the colour will mask the accumulation. Conversely, white or light-coloured paving will be less likely to mask dirty marks and will necessitate more cleaning than the darker shades.
We are pleased to hear that your paving looks good when clean and that you find it safe to walk on in wet weather. Looks good, but so difficult to keep clean.
Although the porcelain tiles look great, we are having massive issues wirh staining and marking, only been down three weeks and in that time, we have had a lot of issues, even just walking on the lawn and then on the patio leaves large footprints we can't remove - water drops, plant debris everything leaves a mark - we are so dissapointed as we went for porcelain over sandstone due to its low maintenance... and we went for pavestone as we thought it was the better choice.

So happy I chose this company, from the initial call to the office for some advice on their products and being walked through my choices by Gary an external rep helping me decide on the right product for my property, supplying me handy sized samples, he even supplied me with a list of the Pavestone preferred Installers to contact to quote for the installation. I ended up choosing a beautiful porcelain they call Dolomite Mars Rust. I cant wait for the project to finish and I will upload photos once it’s completed. We had our driveway and paths replaced using Pavestone products. Can't fault them, fantastic service. I've lost count of the number of people who have stopped to tell us how lovely it is now looking. We will definitely be using their products for the patio and path to the rear.
