Paypal sided with frauds

I created a case against a fraudulent company that charged me wrongfully for their subscription and PayPal sided with the fraudulent company. I think they support the criminals more than their customers.

Unclear refund where it goes

Less than a year's experience with paypal, where when I applied for a refund I submitted according to the procedure, the service provider had agreed to a refund via paypal and returned it to my credit card, but paypal had a successful statement about the refund to the credit card, Turns out I checked thoroughly into my credit card account. No refunds were received, I checked with the service provider that I previously subscribed to, nor was I credited to the account balance there, so I tried to contact the credit card provider. He said there was no refund data at that time. So where did my fund go? Why paypal thinks the refund is successful while the funds are not received anywhere.

PayPal functionality Sucks Fraud…

PayPal functionality Sucks Fraud Likely, their system and verification process is stupid as can be, approved for a credit card but before using said credit card (for a small reward) I must connect my bank account? God Bless Apple Pay, PayPal sucks

DOne after 21 years over 2 cent mistake they made

After 21 years of continuous service, I am terminating my relationship with PayPal. My account was flagged due to fraudulent micro-deposits ($0.01 on March 11 and March 27). Despite PayPal’s fraud department verifying these were unauthorized, they allowed a $0.02 negative balance to trigger a total account freeze.

On April 29, I manually paid the $0.02 balance to restore service. My bank has confirmed the funds were successfully transferred and accepted. However, PayPal’s internal systems are out of sync; the dashboard shows the payment as received, yet support agents claim they have no record of it and refuse to restore access until May 5.

This "holding period" is causing cascading failures for my other recurring bills. PayPal has chosen to prioritize a flawed automated risk algorithm over a 21-year human relationship. Their refusal to provide a simple manual credit for two cents to resolve a verified fraud issue is a staggering display of incompetence. I am moving my business to platforms that actually understand customer service and basic accounting.

PayPal does not protect it's users

PayPal does not protect it's users from companies online that use deceptive tactics. I filed a fraud case which was denied. I then appealed it which was denied. I've had to talk and/or text with customer service wasting hours. Now I just want my account closed and information deleted. They won't, citing the.reason as I still have a dispute open. I don't, you are allowing this scamming company to keep the money. PayPal is not trustworthy. And I'm tired of talking to customer service representatives that I have to struggle to understand.

Submitted a dispute for a charge I did…

Submitted a dispute for a charge I did not authorize. PayPal turned around and dismissed my dispute on the grounds that, apparently, in all of my communications with PayPal and the entity that made the unauthorized charge I had only requested that the charge be paused and not reversed.

Blatant and total lie. I have dozens of emails demanding that the charge be refunded and at no point did I tell PayPal that I wanted anything other than a refund.

And of course now they won't let me delete my account and data from their system.

Paypal Protection Is For The Supplier Not The Consumer

Zero protection with Paypal unless you are a Chinese supplier. You pay for the product, the company doesn't deliver, you ask for product or refund and the company but tells you to continue to wait and someday it may arrive. Paypal sides with them and pushes out the dispute. Never again will I use Paypal.

PayPal buyer protection is non existent

I purchased a pack of four fridge filters from Joom SIA and paid using PayPal, expecting support if there was a problem. The delivery was weeks late and the package contained only one filter. I made a claim through PayPal and despite providing the requested information and reporting as fraud my claim was refused. I should also point out that Joom accepted that they were at fault but did not reimburse me as promised. Conclusion is that PayPal buyer protection is non existent.

Dreadful dont use them

Dreadful. When something goes wrong paypal can end up holding your money and wont cancel the transaction, and the merchant doesnt get the money either. Its just stuck in paypal, i guess they make a profit from it... their help is telling me to wait a week but why should i wait whilst they hang onto my money, seems like theft

PayPal is horrible.

When it comes to purchasing I'm very hesitant making any purchases nowadays because I'm not guaranteed my money back even though some sellers are fraudulent. This is something PayPal needs to improve on is by standing with their customers against these type of sellers. PayPal is horrible. They obviously don't care that they have bad reviews. And PayPal can be shut down if nobody is using it.

Completely unhinged.

I received a threatening overseas call (possibly from China) in the middle of my workday claiming I’d missed a payment — with zero prior notice, no email, nothing.
The issue was a failed payment due to a new debit card. That’s it. There is absolutely no justification for aggressive, threatening calls over something like that. Mob behavior,
Incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. I have been using them for over 10 years but won’t be using them again.

The worst app and the worst service for…

The worst app and the worst service for money transactions. I am definitely done with it now, and I am removing this app from my payment methods. It is an absolute rip-off—especially regarding cryptocurrencies—given what they do with their crypto service.

Worst company ever

Was charged a 3.5% international transaction fee from my bank as PayPal doesn't disclose whether the merchant is processing the payment locally or overseas even though I paid in my local currency.

It's impossible to get a hold of customer service and if by a miracle you do then it's like speaking to a drone.
