Very helpful and found an item I needed which wasn't initially in stock. Good quality items as well.

need spare parts and no response from the company, seems like they're selling their existing stock and not replenishing it, and will not respond to any queries or support requests

its a shame as i chose to buy British to support local businesses and for the usual selling point of customer service, but i have been let down and ultimately as things break i will have to send them to recycling and probably buy something cheap and disposable to replace it

I don't think this business is trading anymore, zero stock on the website and zero response via email. Hugely frustrating when you pay a lot of money for what should be a life time product, and unable to purchase spare parts and replace item.

Great customer service when I bought upgrades to my old rack. Good that they make things backwards compatible.

Supplied spare part for a very old mount: this was excellent. But no ‘phone number given and didn’t answer emails.

I made a couple of attempts to contact the company via the chat which prompted me to email them as i had a few question regarding the ergo however I had no response.

Bit the bullet based on the Mtb review , solid build when it turned up and looks great however upon opening the box there three large dings in the coating of the bar. It does not affect
the product and nobody would know however , did not expect it after spending
£244 on a bike rack

Excellent service, good advice on products quick delivery

Well engineered quality product (Swan Neck to Flange Towbar Adaptor). Rather pricey! Fast shipping. No instructions included, so needed to confirm countersunk washer fitting with Pendle.

Staff really helpful when trying to determine which version I needed.
Fast delivery , easy to mount and put together.
It’s the only rack I could find that would take my e-bike , with a 23kg weight limit.
My only comments are I’ve swapped out the 8mm nyloc nuts for 8mm security nuts and I’ve replaced the star knobs with lockable star knobs . Had a practice run mounting my Haibike e-bike and locks securely in position. I have added extra ratchet strap …. You might pick up on I’m very risk averse lol . All in all , great product and ahead of the pack for e-bike roof carriers …. And it’s still orange

Correspondence with Pendle about a mount for the spare wheel was painful. Poorly formatted email and slow or no replies.

Okay, I’m going to review the professional trailer and also the 4 and 6 bike trailers.

I have 2 professional trailers for 12 bikes and have also had 2 of the smaller trailers in the past.
If longevity was not an issue these would be great little products. But sadly longevity is a major issue.

In 14 months one of our professional trailers has structurally failed just behind the suspension mounts with the frame cracking on both sides.

I would suggest the steel angle iron used on the top rail reeds replacing with box section to stop the flex and subsequent sheer points on the lower box sections.

It simply isn’t up to the job.

Which is a massive shame as it’s a really simple system for attaching the bikes. I really like the product. However, the nail in the coffin is the lack of coms from the company. IE zero.

The smaller trailers, we have had two (some 10 years ago) Both have failed at the draw bar.. This meant that we lost two trailers whilst in transit. Thankfully not with customers bicycles attached, both were empty when they failed.

Bitterly disappointed that Pendle Bike Racks have not responded.

After fairly light use and over 14 months this 1st trailer is being welded and is having webs and braces added.
We will use spray galvanise over the welds, webs and braces. But it will probably rust and at over £3k per trailer it would be nice to get the longevity that I envisaged when buying.

Instead I think I’ll design and market a better trailer for those that actually need a professional bike trailer.with longevity designed in.

Pendle Bike Racks, you haven’t heard the last of me. I want compensation and will be seeking legal advice. If you had of responded, I would have sorted something out. My father is a design engineer, he could have helped with a design revision to solve the problem for your trailers.

The product is excellent, simple design, and no-nonsense. Build quality way ahead of most mainstream bike rack manufacturers. Customer support was very good when trying to establish purchase of bike / axle specific elements. Do not see myself ever having to buy another rack.
