Very slow

Very slow, lousy customer support. Order was placed over 2 month ago, no shipment, no information. Tried to contact, no answer. But at least the money is already taken, fast in that department!

Misleading shipping costs

Just be aware that if you are out of province, you will have a surprise increase in the shipping costs that are displayed when you first order a produce. The 8.99 shipping and insurance seems to be simply a baseline. For me, it would have been cheaper in the end to buy the product I ordered from a well known "amazing" online retailor. So for trying to support a canadian business I get stiffed with a high and surprise shipping fee. Almost any other retailer will give you either free shipping or honest estimates for you to decide. My personal opinion is that this is a misleading practice at best, and simply dishonest at it's worst. I'll probably not deal with them again because as a consumer, I expect the seller to be honest about what the costs are so that I can make a proper decision without feeling that I have been taken advantage of. Not a lot of money compared to what the item cost...but it's the principle.

Very Disappointed with the NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE - STAY AWAY. Misleading Online Website.

First-time buyer, Very disappointed with the return or Exchange Policy!
By mistake, I ordered the Microsoft Surface Dock with the USB ports I wanted the dock of the USB-C port.

Purchase Date: May 7th, 2020
Payment Method: VISA, Amount Paid $202.99

I ordered the above item but when I opened, it was a previous model with the USB ports but, I was interested in the Surface dock 2 with USB-C ports! I emailed to Daphne Sass-Kortsak, Customer Service & Returns Supervisor: If I can return it? I opened the box side seals but everything inside is completely untouched and unopened.

She responded saying because of the strict manufacturer's policy we can't return or exchange! The manufacture of the item is Microsoft and they don't have such a non-refundable policy.

This is a very disappointing misleading online company in today's world! Nowadays all the resellers and retailers have a return or exchange policy.

PEOPLE, PLEASE STAY AWAY AND ORDER FROM REPUTED ONLINE RETAILERS! ANY WAY OF GIVING NEGATIVE STARS REVIEW?

First time I used them, NEVER AGAIN!

I have never used PC-Canada until last Thursday. I ordered and SSD drive and layer 3 switch. They had good pricing and I was hoping to support a Canadian reseller instead of a big box company.

I looked at the stock and saw everything was in stock in Ontario so I should get the order quickly so I placed the order and paid the 10.99 shipping fee.

The next day in the morning I received a phone call confirming that I ordered the product. I validated again that the product was in stock in Ontario, she looked it up and validated and I should be receiving it probably Monday.

Monday came and went, I went online and noticed it was in processing phase. I emailed and asked when I would be expecting the product if they could let me know.

Tuesday morning I received an email stating that pricing had changed and my product went up $25 and shipping went up to $35.99 and the product was now coming from BC. I argued it was validated, their systems showed live stock at the time and it was all in Ontario. I also argued I was the one that queried about the order and that it should be honoured. No go with them she just said the prices went up so I have to pay or cancel the order.

First time I dealt with them, NEVER again. I told her to cancel the order and also cancel my account. Went on Amazon and ordered it all, I will have it on Friday.

An amazing customer service experience. Color me impressed!

An amazing customer service experience! Especially given the chaos introduced by the current pandemic. I run a small church in BC and needed to get my services in line. I received the pieces I needed in good order and way before expected. I would highly recommend doing business with PC Canada.

I have learned that for people to take in what I preach about, I need to repeat a concept several times. So here goes.

Way above everyone else during this COVID-19 crisis!

The folks at PC-Canada have been absolutely awesome during this COVID-19 crisis - particularly Jeremy!

First I was trying to source urgently some equipment for my home-based virtual studio. Impossible to find them anywhere... but I don't know how, PC-Canada was able to get me what I needed and super fast. Then it turned out that one of the equipment had a faulty component and they got me a replacement the following day!

Above all, the reps were available quickly (both via email and phone) - which wasn't the case with all the other suppliers. They've been super pleasant and mega responsive.

THANKS A LOT Jeremy and the rest of PC-Canada team! You rock!! 🙏🙏🙏

Confusing and Unfair Return Policy

I purchased a network switch from pc-canada.com, and the fan in it was faulty. Within the 15-day return period, I started the return process. I tried for over a month to try and return the item as per their defective item return/exchange policy and was unable to do so. I was told that their distributor had denied the return. I asked if they could simply exchange the item for a functional one but was directed to the manufacturer to go to through the warranty repair/exchange process. The purchase process at pc-canada.com is simple and the shipping is fast, but the return and exchange policies are confusing and unfair. I will not be doing business with pc-canada.com again.

Nothing short of perfect!! Highly recommended!!!

It's been a while since I've had such a good experience with dealing with a company. Every single order we've placed has arrived in perfect condition. The shipping costs are unbelievably reasonable and the shipping time is nothing short of amazing! We receive immediate confirmation emails, and tracking information. When we've had to email to ask questions, the responses are super fast and from a real human. We are absolutely delighted with their product selection, inventory and pricing. Hats off and thank you for everything!!! We are thrilled to be working with such a fantastic company!!

A terrible experience nothing was explained...

This has been a terrible experience and nothing was explained...

Ordered a monitor and was told that it was no longer available at the price ordered.
After email exchanges with customer service all I gathered was that some people got their order "while supplies lasted", while others just don't. This is despite the fact that at the time of order it was stated as in-stock, which is not the customer's fault.

PC-Canada then only offered to increased price on the order and change to being backordered with no expected ship date and nothing else.

When asked if a substitution of a similar product around the same MSRP was possible, it was stated that this was not possible and that different means different(?), with no explanation of reasoning as to why a substitution could not be made.

No other solution was offered and the order was cancelled.

The CSR rep also claimed that it was an issue with the manufacturer not allowing them to set their own prices(?), instead of their poor inventory management.

Fantastic Service

I had some issues dealing with windows activation after losing my motherboard and harddrive that came with a Cyber Power computer I bought through PC Canada. I had "Yenny Justavino" helping me out and she did an absolutely fantastic job with keeping me up to date on what was happening as she dealt with trying to get me the information I needed. She was very pleasant to talk to as well and made my whole ordeal much less troublesome.

5/5 would not hesitate to contact PC Canada support with future issues relating to purchases.

Excellent prices and inventory

It is important to understand their "approach" before buying from PC Canada. They generally expect you to get your product support from the manufacturer. And know what you are buying. But, most of all, you must understand their return policy.

If I'm not 100% positive that I'm buying the right product, I either phone them first and figure it out, or buy locally at a computer store, where I know that I can return almost anything in 7 days by paying a higher price than PC Canada.

Their pricing and inventory is top notch. Within the realm of what they do support, they are really good. For example, I discovered I ordered the wrong product and was able to cancel it before it shipped by dealing with their very responsive support staff.
