I was in dire need of a new TV, did some research, ran to PC Richards Wayne. NJ Met Manny, who was wonderful, to the point i was having difficulty connectig my Denon to the LG TV. Manny came to my house at 8PM, and got it working perfectly. I will always trust PC Richard, let alone Manny is total value to your company, see you next time Gregg
I purchased a Frigidaire last week which was delivered and arrived the date of arrival however after the install the allegedly “brand new” fridge never got cold. A technician who was rude upon arrival stated I needed a compressor. Since then I’ve been calling the Customer service department only to be hung up on twice. This is the worse experience I’ve received after purchasing a “brand new” appliance.
Sale of dryer went well but delivery was a hot mess. Told me I would be given 3 hour window but actually it was a 4 hour window that kept on being delayed as day went on. Has to spend the whole day waiting for them. Won’t be using them again. Sad since in past they were good.
After 6 months my Fridge was failing. Tech came and evaluated the situation. Got an automated call saying the replacement parts are ready. It will take a week before tech can come and fix the fridge. Unbelievable !!
Horrible customer service.
We called and asked the salesman to send a
Bosch dishwasher comparable to our old one that just conked out.
He sent a piece of junk - nothing like our find old dishwasher.
PC refuses to take it back. They said once it's installed, you own it.
We begged them to let us pay more for a better model.
They will not allow it.
PC said their policy was to not allow "trials."
This was not a "trial". We had requested a comparable model, and what they sent was so crappy we don't use it. We wash by hand now.
We thought the sales people in the Stony Brook store were very helpful & knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them.
My wife and I ordered a dishwasher from the Whippany store on RT. 10. At the time of the purchase, salesperson Paul was quick to seal the deal and process the transaction. What he failed to share with us was there were 30 customers ahead of us who had purchased the same unit. As a result we were placed on a waiting list. It has now been almost two weeks and I was told that we are 25th on the waiting list. When I called to check on the status of our delivery I had asked this representative of PC Richard to have Salesperson Paul to give me a call. Never happened! I had to hunt him down.
We will continue to wash our dishes and receive the dishwasher whenever it arrives. However, we will never order anything else from PC Richard. They lost a faithful customer who has spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the last few decades. All due to the shady practices of Salesperson Paul.
I’ve been happy with dealing with them twice for appliances. Their service was good and prices competitive.
Purchased a Bosch dishwasher without problem! Installer came and told me he had to replace all the valves that to which the dishwasher was connected. Since we have a new kitchen, I questioned it and he said I would have to sign a waiver saying any water damage that occurred would not be his responsibility if I did not allow him to change all the valves. I know a little about plumbing but am not an expert. I suspected something fishy and said no. I asked my usual plumber to come over--which he did approx 15m after the installer (NOT a licensed plumber) left. There was NOTHING wrong with the valves!

I just got the worst customer service experience with PC Richard & Son service department. I was gifted a brand new Samsung television for Christmas. The television was turned on Christmas Day. Everything was great until end of January when all of a sudden the TV wouldn’t turn on. I tried everything. I used the TV remote, the cable box remote, and found the button on the TV and tried that. they sent out a service person to do a diagnostic and he determined that the televisions computer and screen were bad and needed to be replaced. I asked him why wouldn’t I get a new TV since it’s so new. He stated over 30 days so doesn’t qualify for replacement. I told him it was 35 days. that’s ridiculous. I’ve been a client for over 30 years. have purchased all items from then and always received superior customer service except now. I have their credit card and I will no longer purchase any items from them again. I will go to their competitors (Bestbuy) and others to purchase items. Ridiculous how they would treat a long time client like this on a 5 day difference to get a replacement. Be very careful when purchasing items there because it appears they don’t care about their clients. Very poor customer service and I was in customer service industry my entire working career.
Purchased LG washer & dryer 12/9/22. Receipt states items would be delivered in 3 weeks. 6 weeks later they finally were delivered. Paid for delivery & installation & the delivery guys did hook up the machines however the dryer door needed to be reversed. As of now I need to reach over the door to load laundry into dryer. Did not notice this until after delivery guys left as they had machines running & advised me to let them complete cycle. Reached out to PC Richards & was told that it’s an additional $50 to reverse the door. I have purchased 3 dryers in the last 30 years from Home Depot & install charge ALWAYS included the door opening to whichever side necessary. This place is just the worst appliance store. When I replace my kitchen appliances I’ll go back to Home Depot.
Gentlemen, I came into PC Richards to buy a washer and I spoke to a gentleman name Chris who was very know,ledgable, He explained in detail about a few of the different type washers and the important features of each machine and I just want you know how fortunate PC Richards is to have Chris as an employee. The least helpful sales people I've ever encountered. I've done business at the stores on route 22/union and another store next to the Walmart in the blue star/watchung shopping center.ALWAYS the same: the salesperson follows you everywhere shadows your every step like vultures hovering over their prey. And of course, they'll say anything to get that commission out of you. I asked him how much a particular sound bar system cost. Without hesitation, he said, "three hunnit." At the cash register, 3 hunnit turned into $459.00. I liked the sound system, so I overpaid by 160 bucks. NEVER NEVER going back.

Just purchased a mattress, got a free tv, 2 free pillows and a mattress protector. Also purchased a TV. Ali Kazim was my salesperson and he is truly phenomenal.
He goes above and beyond to help. The manager was equally as phenomenal and helpful.
It's a wonderful situation when doing the "right" thing is also a great experience.
I try to purchase items from local businesses, but sometimes their prices or level of service makes that a difficult decision.
In my experience, as a local business, P.C. Richards beats the big guys every time.
Specifically, I've been buying appliances from P.C. Richards for decades including our refrigerator, the only (12,000 BTU Friedrich) air conditioner in our home, etc.
Summary - it's difficult to get good service, but the real test for me is how a company handles issues when they arise. P.C. Richards exceeded my expectations in this situation. Details below:
I needed a new washing machine, and shopped around to figure out what would work best both in terms of functionality and price. Given my limited space and budget, this was a challenge.
As has often been the case, P.C. Richards won the race.
They delivered the exact model at the specified price on the indicated date and time. Well done, but unfortunately, there were issues with the machine which could not have been predicted.
I contacted my local store (UWS) and spoke to the manager named Carlos. He patiently listened to my story and concerns, and resolved them well beyond my expectations.
At this point, I have a machine that works perfectly, at a price that others couldn't beat and am delighted to recommend P.C. Richards without reservation.

Extremely satisfied with PC Richards. Excellent sales people who know what they sell (appliances tv etc.) great instillation by qualified technicians. Mauricio and Javier. Have shopped there many years and will continue to do so. Don’t waste your time at or Home Depot.
Haier fridge freezer delivered two years ago. Bad icing problem. Defrosting freezer weekly and cleaning up floor weekly. First tech said not meant for this climate; use child safety lock. Didnt solve the problem. Second tech said defective. Third GE “Factory Service” tech whom I called directly and knew what he was doing assessed as “bad install’ by PCR can be repaired for about $600 but PCR has to make service appt. 38 callers in line. Never, never, never PCR again.

Service reps are the worse. Also service is bad. Problem with stove 2nd time and they state tech said it was fine. Unable to find our washer/dryer info.
