Disinterested Service
Just been to local PC World as I am in desperate need of a printer. Never had such a disinterested sales assistant EVER! I explained I needed good quality print as I use it for card making/photos but got no recommendations but told to read reviews.
Needless to say, I walked out without purchasing.

I purchased a TV online advising that I didnt want any contact from the currys marketing team.
Within a short while of recieving the TV I recieved a phone call from car phone warehouse trying to sell me a care plan. When I advised them they had broken the law by contacting me, the response was it was not their problem as my details had been passed to them by Currys. I was told to ring their customer service and complain to them.
This was done, a complaint was registered and despite me ringing them back 7 times and being told everything from someone will ring back within 72 hours, to a manager will ring you at a given time, to my complaint has now been passed to chief office which means I will be contact by them, noone has.
Some 6 weeks later it has become apparent that Currys feel the best way to deal with complaints is to ignore them. i have never known such contempt for customers who have spent a lot of money with them.
Their reply is typical of the disgusting way they treat customers, their comment says if you still need help, do this. I think my comment is quiet clear, it states quiet clearly that no one at pc world has been bothered to deal with my complaint and that's after 7 weeks.

Hi those who are having a problems…
Hi those who are having a problems getting your refund . I had the same problem when I received a broken TV and wanted a refund. If you have paid by credit card, contact your credit card company. Explain your situation and also send any correspondence you had with this company and your receipt. I did this and within 2 weeks I received my card was credited. You will wait ages to get your refund back.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Genuinely the WORST service I have ever recieved from a company in my entire life. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
I paid extra for my item to be delivered on sunday. My item does not show up. Over the course of the next few days, I am told everything from 'your item is in transit and will show up today' to 'your item is lost in transit' to 'your item is out of stock and the warehouse cant get it in'
They have REFUSED to even give me a refund until they have 'investigated' - which I am told can take up to TWO WEEKS.
Absolutely ridiculous. Useless customer service are no help, and outright refuse to transfer you to a manager. I had one woman HANG UP ON ME. Absolutely shocking.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED.

Ordered a monitor
Ordered a monitor in East Kilbride shop and told to collect in a few days. A week later had to go to shop to be told unit no longer available. Had to cancel and refund. No contact from them to update situation. Manager was most obnoxious and ignorant person in shop. Paperwork thrust in my hand and he walked away,no explanation. Wont be back to that branch

Ref order number: CUR2107542464
Yesterday I visited Curry's PC World in Swansea and bought a replacement washing machine. I am writing to tell you how helpful, knowledgeable and patient was HARVEY. I am an OAP, I live on my own and have little knowledge or support on how to go about replacing my broken washing machine. I felt safe and valued. Kindly pass on my appreciation of the service given to me to Harvey

Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. I didn't receive some headphones that were supposed to come with the £1k laptop I ordered. So I've been trying to phone them up to get them.
So far I've called them more then 10 times. 9/10 times I've been told a manager will call me back. No one ever does. I've been given time scales ranging from half an hour to 48 hours. It's all a lie because the managers never actually contact you and I'm told have no direct contact details. The other time someone told me they'd sent the headphones out, that turned out to be a lie when I chased it up a week later.
I don't think managers actually exist on their help line, they just employ people to fob you off until you give up.
This has been going on for months now and I'm at the point where I'm going to just so a chargeback for the £200 the headphones are worth from my card provider.
*UPDATE*
Don't think the replies on TrustPilot are PC World helping customers. The people who respond don't actually help, they appear to be the same group of liars who will just mess you about.

Just shop elsewhere.
I first ordered a smartphone. They insisted this has been delivered when it hadn't. I then asked for a refund, which they said they would issue but never did. The phone arrived at my door 2 MONTHS later; just as well because they never refunded me.
Next, I ordered myself a laptop over £1k, and selected next day delivery. The next day I received a 2014 model PS4 instead of the laptop I ordered, worth around £170 of the £1200 I paid. Contacting them, they first fob me off to DPD before agreeing to collect and replace the item, stating that it could take weeks, with no compensation for the lost so-called "next-day delivery", or the fact that I urgently needed this laptop to be able to continue with my coursework, so I am stuck for weeks. I was then sent a false email about the order being refunded and cancelled, which they assured me over the phone had never been sent. I am yet to see if this was the truth or yet another of their lies. Absolutely disgusting.

Press 1 for bad service, press 2 for...
Called customer services but the options on the automated system don't cover "website isn't working". So I got through to some very rude lady who abruptly told me I was not her problem, and when I explained I'm trying to make a £3000 purchase she said "then you can't do it". She berated me for expecting her to be able to help me and the conversation turned into a slanging match, I hung up.

4 different members of staff and 3 different devices told me different information about the same product. I gave feedback saying this was very confusing and that i didnt quite understand what was going on with their system, I was then told that they are a transactional department and so its different for them. Ithen said that I do not know what that means and that from a customer point of view im very lost by all the different information that directly contradicted the last. She then told me to "order it over the phone yourself then" (which i was trying to do) in a very aggressive way and was hung up on! shocking. Didn't help that her english was shocking and clearly couldn't understand me, not a good idea to have people with poor english skills on the phone!!!

I have never experienced as bad…
I have never experienced as bad customer service as that from curry’s pc world. I booked to have a new oven fitted and the old one removed. I had to wait and pay extra for the delivery to be made on same day as fitting. The fitters failed to turn up, when I called the next day they stated that although they had broken a contract and took my money on false pretences, the earliest they could fit it would be another three weeks time on September 10th when I had paid them in July. This is not customer service they don’t give a dam about their customers as long as the money is in their till. Asked if they will compensate for three days taken off work due to their incompetence the answer from senior management at head office was no. That says it all. I cancelled my order and have bought from one of their competitors. Every should do the same as the only way they will change is it hits their pocket.

All the cleaners I saw in line weren’t available in store despite signs saying take home today. When I finally chose a cleaner and asked the till assistant for managers contact details to complain about the service she went to him got his details and Hanes Ed them to me. THE MANAGER COULDNT BE BOTHERED TO COME AND SPEAK TO ME. RUDE OFFHAND SERVICE

Never use this company
Never use this company. My story: they sold me a washing machine to collect in store last November. Then told me they actually didn’t have one in store, but because of company policy I couldn’t transfer my purchase to another store but would need instead to buy another machine to collect in another store and then I would be refunded for the first purchase. I acted on good faith and did this.
Well it is now August and still no refund for the first machine. Over dozens of calls to customer service, interactions on the chat function on their website and a visit to their actual store. Every single time told they can see the issue and my refund will be processed in 7-14 days. AND IT NEVER IS.
Beyond a joke. This is totally unacceptable. I am missing hundreds of pounds for a product they never even had to sell me. Disgusting treatment. Would suggest everyone avoids.
