I bought a lifetime licence but because my version has now been updated & no longer works - have been advised I now need to pay for an upgrade!

Appalling service.

The program is clumsy. You need to aim to place the writing. Problems creating forms. Responds slowly to commands or does not respond at all.
For private people who use the program from time to time it will do, but that's all. For professionals who must use the program often or daily is a nightmare.

The company offered a licence for ever and then stopped the access to the program after 10 years+

Rubbish product. Doesn't allow editing of the simplest pdf form. Refused a refund when I asked because it was a couple of days outside their 30 day window. Save your money and look elsewhere!

I purchased this software in 2023 and used it and it worked well. So when it came time to renew in 4/2024 I purchased 3 license keys. Things worked well until my PC manufacture did a BIOS Update when issues arrose. Customer Service is done through "ZenDesk" and totally sucks. I can no longer recommend this software. So much for their 100% satisfaction guarantee as listed on their website.

Disgusting company. Paid 50 pence for a sickness form for work. The following week 2 amounts of 39.90 taken out of my account. My email to them requesting a refund has been

SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY from them!
I only needed a 50p SSP and they made an account for me without my permission and subscribed me for 39.90 a month.
How in the world is this even possibile? Do not use for anything at all as you're going to be scammed!

Wish I had seen this reviews before I used this company. If I could give no stars or a minus I would. Cost me £40.40 to print a doctor's sick paper. They don't send you purchase confirmation when you purchase. I remember reading 50p but I don't remember reading about 2day trial. Con artists!! Disgusting Company

Absolutely horrendous company and will steal your money.
Terms and conditions are lies and will take money regardless if you are within the time window.

DON'T USE

Done a self-certification form and paid 50p, then a few weeks later £39.90 came out of my account. I then raised this to customer service, they said I had subscribed and this is the monthly fee(this was not stated clearly). I then asked for a refund and they said this could not be done, even though I had only used thier service once for my self-certification form. Never will I use them again!

As every other review has stated, this software is garbage and they are just stealing money. I downloaded the software and used for a bit in the trial period, it worked fine, so I purchased it. Within 30 days of that I had trouble with the software not working as intended. I contacted tech support and they gave me their stock, and only answer they have, which is the to remove and redownload. I did this twice and each time it corrected the issue, but the second time I thought this seems too frequent. After that the software did an update and this is when it got worse. After that it no longer would even print/save a pdf, the whole reason I purchased it. Again I got the stock answer from the awful tech support lady and nothing fixed it. I kindly asked if I could get a refund and they said no, it doesn't qualify. Support is an absolute joke, they just repeat the same thing over and over, ask for sceenshots and don't even look at them because they will ask over and over again for the same thing. I would recommend to anyone that is considering this, DO NOT DO IT! It is not a large sum of money, but if you pay for it, you will be giving them $50 to be terrible, frustrate you to the point that you go get a new software and just give up. That is the scam that they are running, stay away!

I had the same problem paid 50p for a sick form,which in the end I didn't use,I didn't know I had signed up to anything,2 days later took £29 out of my bank,I emailed saying I want a refund,said no you agreed to the terms and conditions,i should have cancelled ,I didn't even know I had signed up,I agree big con,not happy.

Thought I was paying 50p for a self certified sick note then they took £29.90 out of my bank , I phoned for a refund they said I wouldn't get a refund absolutely discusting company...... DO NOT USE !!!!!

went to buy the windows product pdf pro 10 and it was showing as $59.99 (I removed the online data protection to ensure no extras). in the checkout it was changed to $82.30

These people are sociopaths. The image in their advertising is as close as possible to Adobe Acrobat. They say they are the Acrobat Alternative, which is slimy. And the colors and shapes are as close to the real thing as possible. What trash. I was working on one of my book PDFs, and my research partner asked what you use to edit. I mentioned the name. Wait. It is not Adobe Acrobat. Well, your edits are hard to follow and unclear, and please go back to Acrobat. Why buy this junk when it is close to the real thing? Plastic apple or a real one? FLEE this junk.

Bought a perpetual license several years ago and now the program will not work as it said I have reached the maximum number of uses and they now want to charge me again. Their perpetual license is not perpetual.

I used their service to convert one file for an asked fee of 0.50 euro only to find two days later that they charged me another £39.00 !!!!
I spoke to them and a guy listening to TV behind him speaks with broken English said : ‘yes that will be charged ‘. No way will I agree to pay so much for one file conversion. I believe I was scammed because no where on their site that I could see , mentioned this huge charge for one file conversion.

I paid for ONE file to be merged and luckily saw that they immediately signed me up for a year's subscription, which I cancelled. Hopefully it will not be charged on my card. Further, I could not find the single document that was merged and it was not Emailed to me, as the instructions indicated it would be.

PDF Pro 10 doesn't support half the things that it says it does in their Help. For example, i needed to create non-editable form fields (to be populated from the backend). No way to format the form field (text, currency, etc), no way to set editable/non-editable. I was a big fan of Nuance v5, but this version sucks!!! And support not helpful, but very quick to refund my purchase.
