Looking at 241 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently reported significant dissatisfaction with customer service, citing unhelpful agents with limited English and templated responses. The online testing process was widely criticized for being frustrating, annoying, and difficult to navigate due to buggy software and unclear requirements. Many also found staff, including proctors, to be rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Some people also noted issues with inflexible rescheduling policies and proctors unexpectedly terminating exams or causing disruptions, even when users believed they were following rules.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. On Vue is clunky and hit or miss, communicating in English is difficult and there is no customer support. I wouldn't use them again if I didn't have to. Test in person if you can. Their online testing is bad.

If I could give it one star I would

If I could give it one star I would. I logged in before my exam and waiting in a queue so long that it kicked me out before my exam and told me to reschedule. For someone with small children who had to hire sitters and prepare for this exam this is unacceptable. Over twenty minutes to check my id and photo to get logged into an exam and ultimately I was unable to write it.

No speakers no exam despite sitting 2 others with the exact same setup.

Sat two other exams with this company and both times I didn't have speakers (who uses speakers in 2025) and they were happy to proceed and let me sit the exam. Yesterday no speakers, and the proctor closed the exam without even letting me talk to him. Customer service is absolutely useless. They will not give you the time of day or listen to what you are trying to tell them, and then my appeal email rejection says that my internet was not good enough, yet my issue was with not having speakers. I recommend people avoid this company when booking an exam.

NEGATIVE 10 STARS if I could!

This has been the most horrible experience I’ve ever had with a testing company — Pearson VUE is absolutely awful.
I took my exam at their testing center a week ago, and I STILL don’t have my results. My exam has two parts: the State and the National. I already passed the State portion earlier this year with PSI, so I only needed to retake the National portion.
Before scheduling, I even called Pearson VUE and was told to take just the National portion and stop after that. But when I showed up at the testing center, the staff acted like they had NEVER heard of anyone doing that before. The proctor had no idea how to close out my test and told me to “call Pearson VUE” for my results.
Now, my account says “delivery failed,” and Pearson VUE keeps giving me the same runaround — “We’re working on it,” “You’ll get an email soon.” It’s been seven days. Nothing. No results, no follow-up, no accountability!!!!
To make things worse, I can’t even reschedule because my account says I have an “open registration.” So I’m completely stuck while they figure out their own mess!!!!!
I’m now reaching out to my state commission to file a formal complaint and beg them to go back to PSI. Pearson VUE’s customer service is nonexistent, their communication is terrible, and their testing process is a disaster.
If I could give them negative 10 stars, I would. Absolutely unacceptable.

Horrendous

Scheduled an online exam. Passed the system test, but the OnVue app got stuck at "loading..." even after rebooting system and trying all sorts of suggestions mentioned online to fix it. When I finally was able to launch the app, it was 15 minutes after my scheduled time and I was not able to proceed.

I spent 45 minutes with the online Pearson VUE support, repeating questions over and over, which were just dodged. I was not provided with any assistance whatsoever. The representative, Doe, briefly filed a "case" but refused to send me a confirmation e-mail of the case. Moreover, the Doe declined to confirm in writing that she or he was unable to help me log in and take my exam.

Pearson VUE Croydon.

Pearson VUE Croydon.

AVOID, please do your test elsewhere, I did my B1 test here but before any review let me tell you that yes, I passed first time in spite of the issues with this center.
Now, the staff was ok but there is no organization when it comes to queuing, when you arrive they tell you to have a seat but then no one call your name to be seen in a arriving order, I believe that they expect everyone to be polite but thats not the case, that is not the biggest issue but is still annoying.
The test room has the worst possible conditions, the headphones do not block the sound at all the cubicles do not block any noise with around 15 people all reading very similar texts at all given time when you need to concentrate and repeat what you listened on the headphones, I did point out to the chaperone about the distraction this was causing but the answer I got was that the distraction is part of the test. The room is too small for the amount of people and you have a similar experience to that of a call center the only difference is that here what you need to ear matters.
This method of testing needs to be assessed by the home office as this is not fit for purpose.
Please check other places for your exames and unlike me please read reviews before booking.
Hope this helps someone.

Unbelievable incompetence from Pearson staff that has essentially come down to being robbed of a nearly $300 exam voucher

Went through the entire pre-check process for the test. I went above and beyond to make sure my area met the criteria. There were no issues during pre-check, or when I was reading and agreeing to the disclosures. This was a lengthy process and there was ample opportunity to address any issues on behalf of the proctor. Shortly after I start my test, the proctor informs me that I’m not bright enough. They won’t stop the time, and I’m required to fix it without leaving the area. My room was lit by an overhead light and my monitor was on max brightness. I removed everything else due to the rules, so these demands were impossible to meet and clearly not my fault. The proctor refused to let me speak to a supervisor, pause the timer, or reschedule and promptly canceled my exam that I cleared the day for. They gave me a case number and after reaching out to customer service, which had major language barriers, I was informed there was nothing they could do and the review process will take three days. Long story short, they failed to correct issues before the exam started, interrupted the exam with no possibility of stopping the time, or any real ability for me to troubleshoot the issue due to their restrictions. Now I’m out the cost of the nearly $300 exam voucher and the day I set aside to take the test.

Terrible Experience !

Terrible Experience !! on 12th October 2025.
Candidate ID : a9WRf00000026fnMAA

First on this is not a way to treat salesforce professional that are working hard to stay relevant in the industry by spending time and investing money to pass certification exam!

I have logged 30 minutes before today's exam. I have done all the checking requirements.
1- Selfie
2- Photo of ID (back and forth)
3- Photo of my desk space (right, left, behind, in front) in which I will take my exam

-> Then a first call from an agent (a lady) came asking me to "remove all my items on the desk (a cup , some salesforce goodies) »
After that he asked me to go a second time through the verification phase with all the photos (right, left, behind, in front) of my desk to confirm I had made the cleaning.

After I did, nothing for 10 mins. No explanation, no messages, no news ! While I was already stressing out with the exam, this did not help at all to stay focus.

So I started to speak in the recorded camera, until another proctor (a guy) got in touch with me.
Telling me this. « I had also to clean the row below my desk space (like folders and other working items) » I told him I had all my stuff was in that row as its my working office (folders, files, and that I cannot access to them anyway during the exam).

He pressured me into doing it saying he will revoke me from the exam (the first threat).

So I removed all my space in another room (please see below the image). This became so stressing and made me totally unfocus to the actual exam.

But THIS IS NOT IT.
I did it follow all the instructions, BUT the proctor came back to me with this "There are many people walking behind you".
I explained to him that the "many people" is just my wife, that we had a little space in the appartement and the bathroom door was behind my office desk.

I asked about the possibility that she might come once during the exam to do her needs.

He concluded that I should let he know to not come during the exam during.

I SAID OK !

Meanwhile he started the exam but I have not started it myself. So , I went to my wife in her room to say what proctor told me « Don’t come nearby even if you have a need for the bathroom ».

When I came back and sat, I accepted the last exam conditions then started to answer the first questions.

I then received this message « Please excuse the interruption, but I observed you leaving the testing space. This action violates our OnVUE testing policies. Unfortunately, I must revoke your exam session. The following case has been created to document this situation: 13670802. »

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE POINT mistreated your actual customers like this?
I have prepared hard for this exam. The conditions were tough, and more to that, I have respected every rule and every conditions and this is what actually made me kicked out of the exam.

I paid for the exam , I should not be treated this way. I have blocked a Sunday morning to pass the exam, I have prepared for weeks . ALL FOR NOTHING? To be kicked out like a total bug .

Terrible.

I had an exam on OnVUE and completed the pre-check which went through perfectly. When going into my exam, I was #1 in the queue and waited 20 minutes for the proctor to come on. He told me that I needed to upload an ID photo and to exit the system and come back in. I tried again and there was no option for an ID photo so I waited 25 more minutes for the proctor to come back on and say the same thing. I called customer support and they told me that they are revoking my exam and not allowing me to reschedule because I was so late. I was NOT late but due to the technical error, I now have to pay to reschedule my exam.

Absolutely hands down the worst

Absolutely hands down the worst. I wish they cared about their customers, or their employees. I have spent way too much time and money using this service for a career, and there is no alternative. And since theres none, company has no reason to shape up. Hostile and incompetent staff, outsourced and uneducated call lines, and overall bad structure. Hate em

Very bad experience I had with Pearson…

Very bad experience I had with Pearson centre. I attendes there in time there in time two weeks ago. The person at the reception was rude with me and made me in axiety. As family name was mistankly registeree by me online they havn’t acceptes to help resolving my issue, I even suggested to write a kind of statement which shows that I am the same person by providing my ID document. This person was just refusing to talk to me and then rearing me to leave the building immediately. I was deseperate and when I asked him to check with the management hoping they can help me with this issue, or whether there is any way to change my test’ He only gave me a phone number of their call center and orders me in arise way once again to leave immediately the building as he said i cannot call them inside the building. When ai come back home after 20 minutes I have called the centre and explained them what happen. They told me yea we will assist you with resolving your problem. After one week the replied by email confirming that they have updatesd my name and the I should pay once again £160 to rebook my test. So they charged me 160£ at the first time and wanted me to pay another £160 to rebook my test. What kind of centre is this one! In conclusion I do not recommend this centre.

Useless would be too kind...

This is, without fear of contradiction, the worst Company I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.

I had to write an English exam for Home Office UK. I had a deadline and this has now passed, due to the Customer (dis)Service being unable to assist in explaining a review process, ignoranuses. No manager available. Assume they are hiding in a cupboard somewhere. Also, no Head Office type telephone number. Huge amount of online information that has made it impossible to find anyone in authority.
Perhaps this works for the companies that contract their services, but certainly not for the users.
Clearly, they do not care. They should be mortified at the overall score they have received. Stay away, if you can.

If i could give 0 stars i would

If i could give 0 stars i would. avoid this exam board at all costs!!!! not only did they totally mess up the marking of my a level paper, but even after a £204 remark they refused to accept responsibility. They somehow “missed” numerous marks (much more than just 1,2 or 3 marks) in a singular one of my papers, therefore i wasn’t let into university. After my remark i was reinstated but due to their ridiculous mistake I lost my uni accommodation and am now expected to pay £7,400 more than i originally was. i can tell you now, an average person, nevermind a student, can absolutely not afford to pay £17,500 including travel for university, not to mention the bare necessities like food, toiletries and supplies. After endlessly reaching out, they continued to ignore me, only bothering to tell me they refuse to accept responsibility for the mistake and were not going to compensate me in any way. Students should NEVER be forced to deal with so much financial hardship because of no fault of their own. Honestly, their actions and response was despicable and if i could do anything other than this meaningless review, i would. The accommodation i have been forced to stay in, is beyond what i can afford, and is a 1.5 hour commute to central london one way. Words can’t express how disgusted i am with this company, solely in it for the money with absolutely no care for students whatsoever. 4 year old kids learn that you should say sorry, and they couldn’t even bring themselves to do just that.
