Very petty and stupid. So petty they measure waste bags to check they are 60 litre ones, even though the bags used are only filled to 60 litres. I now have to put any new unused bags with capacity over 60 litres in landfill. Very clever Pembrokeshire. Glad you have the time and money to get your tape measures out to measure domestic refuse bags. Great use of council tax payers money.
Trying to force parking payment by phone on people.
On trying to park in Pembroke today, of the two pay and display machines in the car park one would not take card payments and only allowed payment by phone, but was overly complicated and took everyone multiple attempts (including overseas visitors) to figure out the machine was not working correctly, rather than we had done something wrong. The other machine only worked in Welsh despite repeatedly selecting English. In another car park we passed yet another machine was only allowing payment by phone also using the appallingly rated PaybyPhone App. Clearly, visitors to Pembroke and businesses there are being badly let down by a lazy Pembrokeshire County Council that can't be bothered to maintain its parking machines for card payments (let alone allow cash payment) and instead wants to force payment by phone on everyone regardless of their wishes, or access to / use of smart phones. However, Pembroke Castle was very good with an excellent guided tour.
