Hair Extensions by Anna
My experience in the salon in Letterkenny was fantastic, the staff are so helpful and friendly. My stylist was Anna and I can't praise her enough.
Excellent
Love the customer service, staff and salon academy are immaculate. Siana is level 3 due to do exams, she gave me fantastic advice, did a beautiful cut and colour with a treatment included. Twice I have my hair done by Siana and she excelled both times. Her trainer Georgia today also is an amazing hairdresser
Worst place for Mens haircut
They have no clue how to trim and style men's hair. They overcharge you, but their service is actually below average. The staff isn't friendly at all. They need to teach their staff how to deal with customers. I wouldn't recommend them for a men's haircut.

My stylist leanne was just brilliant
My stylist leanne was just brilliant. She listened to me and advised me on what she thought what would work for me . She is fantastic . I love my hair when I come away from peter mark salon
The absolute worst haircut ever
The absolute worst haircut ever! Beyond disgusting that I actually paid for this disaster! My cut has zero shape and style, all she did was cut it extremely short after I talked for about 10 minutes about NOT GOING TOO SHORT!

Poor customer service at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre
Very disappointing customer service. I returned a faulty ghd straightener to Peter Mark and was told it was highly unlikely they would help because it was only 5 days out of warranty, which fell over the Christmas period.
There was no attempt to assess the product or offer any goodwill, just an immediate refusal. Given the high cost of ghd products, I expected a more reasonable and customer-focused approach, particularly considering the time of year.
Based on this experience, I would think twice before buying any high-value electrical products from Peter Mark again.
Unfriendly service and mediocre hair layering
I've visited Peter Mark three times (in Dublin) over the years, and the service has been very hit and miss. The first time I visited, the stylist was lovely and friendly, and extremely good at doing layers. She was very conscientious when cutting my hair, which resulted in a beautiful result which suited my face shape. The next time I visited, however, I got a more senior stylist who didn't say a word to me throughout my entire haircut. She was more interested in chatting to the other customer beside me. She also gave me a woefully average haircut which she didn't layer well to suit my face shape.
After that last incident, I thought I'd give PM one more chance, at a different Dublin salon, based on its very good reviews. However, I regret this decision as I've been left with a terribly layered cut, with the front far too thinned out, and bits of hair constantly falling in my face. I can't even pin it back without these wispy bits sliding out again. It looks like a dog's dinner. This was despite me showing the stylist two pictures of how I wanted my hair layered, and very carefully explaining that I wanted face-framing layers. What she's done does not suit my face at all, and shows a terrible attention to detail. Like the last stylist, this lady also barely said a word throughout my entire appointment, which just felt frosty and uncomfortable.
Frustratingly, it's hard to really gauge how bad a crappy haircut is until days later, once you wash all the styling product is washed out of your hair. It's going to take me months to grow it out, and suffice to say, I won't be returning to Peter Marks again.

Very unprofessional stylist
I have been to multiple Peter Mark's salons over the years for blowdrys, color & cuts.
I was always happy with the experience.
I attended Wilton SC Cork Salon on 6th December 2025 for a wash, cut & blowdry.
The stylist was commenting on my mannerisms & asking why I am so quiet. She made me feel very uncomfortable.
It was totally unprofessional.
I will never be returning to this salon.

I had booked appointment with salon Peter Mark in Wilton. Unfortunately place was very dirty. Hair all over the place, in the sink, on the floor, dirty towels. When another client is coming surrounding should be prepared properly isn’t it? Tidy washing stations and remove dye. Very disappointing, when asked why the place looks like this received explanation that “it is very busy”. Too busy to tidy?In the Dunnes Store always clean and professional service.
I’d give 0 stars if I could.

Have had numerous bad experiences in Blanchardstown.
I’m still in disbelief that you can pay for a senior stylist and then have a trainee colour (and ruin your hair), to be subsequently gaslit into thinking the orange clumpy mess left on your head is lovely and that it’s a “you” problem (you’re just “not used to it”.). When a colleague asked me what had happened to my hair she said “let me guess, did you get it coloured in PM Blanchardstown?” (she had also had a bad experience with colourists).
Added to that...the staff are so rude- they really are very patronising towards customers and could really do with some customer service/ people skills training.
Have found another hairdressers and will never return to PM. Over priced for an awful service.

I had the amazing stylist Sophie at the Rathmines Pete Mark studio. I was a little uncertain about what I wanted but she was very patient and helpful and I'm so happy with my colour and style. Thanks so much, Sophie :)

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. The receptionist was lovely and helped me book quickly, but everything after that went downhill. The woman who did my hair seemed rushed from the moment I sat down, and she was so harsh with my hair that I was in constant pain. She came across quite rude, and it felt like she just wanted to get me out as fast as possible.
I told her I had a lot of breakage, and she said she would apply a special treatment. I ended up paying 100 euros, and there was absolutely no treatment at all—she only shampooed my hair twice, no mask, no conditioner, nothing. She even walked away while washing my hair, and someone else had to come over just to rinse it for her. Then she cut my hair in about five minutes, didn’t check if the length was even, didn’t ask if I liked it, and when I asked for layers, she refused and insisted straight hair would suit me better. I asked for at least some light layers in the front, but what she did doesn’t look like layers at all.
To make it worse, the brush she used wasn’t even clean and had someone else’s hair in it. I left the salon in pain and honestly disgusted by how careless the whole service was. For 100 euros, I expected basic care and professionalism, and I didn’t get either. I will never, never go there again, and I’m waiting for someone to contact me about this complaint. Her name Nadine.
I have just had my haircut with Katie
I have just had my haircut with Katie, a lovely young lady who was so precise and careful with me. I have done it as a walk-in service but I would definitely recommend her as professional in Cork City Center. Thank you!

Navan Peter Mark Ripped off completely in Peter Mark…
Ripped off completely in Peter Mark Navan. Asked for a straight blowdry charged 38 for a curly one as the stylist added that to the bill. Told I would have 10% off as first time customer and they took it off the least expensive item in the bill, the hair mask so I got €2 off a €230 bill! I found the whole experience negative and disappointing. The stylist had made sure to quash any expectations I had of going from already blonde balayage to lighter balayage… just can’t be done apparently! I was so disappointed with colour she gave me, it was the same as when I went in. She made sure to say I told you so at the beginning when I tried to say how dissatisfied I was. I will never go there again, awful staff and experience overall. So sorry I spent my money in the place.

“Extremely stressful visit”
“Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience at this salon. I paid £44.50 for a service that was not carried out properly. When I tried to resolve the issue at the salon, my request for a refund was refused, which caused me significant stress and emotional upset — I was brought to tears. The situation ruined my weekend and left me feeling embarrassed. I cannot recommend this salon due to the poor handling of customer concerns.”

I went to Peter Mark in navan this…
I went to Peter Mark in navan this evening, this was my 2nd time going to this particular salon. The 1st time I didn't get the cut and colour I asked for but in fairness It didn't look to bad and I thought maybe I didn't explain it correctly. However I was there this evening and I told the stylist and showed her pictures of what I wanted which was an angled bob hairstyle and she was nodding not saying any reason if she couldn't. My hair is now an ordinary looking short bob not what I asked for. I said to her that I thought it was meant to be short bob style at the back and then angled longer at the front. She said if I did that you would see my hairline??????. But when i showed her what i wanted when i first got there she didnt say she couldn't do it or that it might be an issue, she just keep saying yes, i know what you mean yeah that's no problem. The bottom line is that
I left that Peter Mark in navan this evening very upset and angry as I did not get what I asked for the stylist just didn't listen to me,and I am not happy at all. I paid just over €180 for this hairstyle I hate. I will not be recommending this salon to anyone and I'd be telling them to avoid at all costs. Peter Mark in Navan shopping centre.
