This was our second trip to petruth & honestly you cannot find a more welcoming & stunning site to visit.
The staff are amazing, they managed to fit us in with very little notice due to having to leave another site in bath. Incredibly welcoming & honestly nothing seems to much if you need advice or have questions.
Our kids were out making friends the moment the caravan legs went down.
A must is to visit cheddar ales a short walk from site. We also ventured down the strawberry line with our bikes. Plenty of restaurants & bars in cheddar itself with beautiful scenery.
Overall fantastic stay & one we thoroughly enjoyed.
Great staff and location.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
The location is good, with nice views and a brewery close by.
The only fault I can find is the field we stayed in doesn’t drain very well and after heavy rain it was like a marsh.
Overall, nice campsite.

Warm welcome & overall excellence
Warm welcome, excellent facilities (clean toilets & showers etc.), very spacious grounds, a shop (with gluten free options, including beer!) as well as a breakfast van - what more can one ask for - definitely worth 5 stars!!😊
This is a great site
This is a great site. The owners have thought of everything and are nothing is too much for them. it's a short walk from there to cheddar village where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to eat and drink. Also, cheddar ales brewery is 5 mins away by foot. Worth a visit.

Charm of cheddar
Beautiful site in beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere here is so inviting, making a stay here a relaxing event. Great amenities within a short walk, on site facilities are fantastic and always clean. Just a great site ! Will definitely be back.
Weekend break away
Love this site, facilities are exceptional and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The Pizza on site was great. Didn’t hurt that the Ceddar Ale Tap Room is a 5 minute walk. Will definitely be back again.
Gem of a place!
Great, smiley, attentive staff, personal welcome. Beautiful location. Clean toilets & showers. Loved it all!
Great place to stay
All members of Staff super friendly, great facilities, clear information on the area and loads to do. Communication before our booking very clear. Checking in was easy and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. On site shop had plentiful supplies.
Very welcoming and friendly
Very welcoming and friendly. Was accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. Place was clean with good amenities.
Excellent site
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness and high standard of the toilets and shower facilities, useful shop for essentials and tourist information, excellent communications and site app. Will certainly stay at Pentruth Paddocks again.
Fantastic stay
We arrived early (about 10am) which was well before the allocated check in but because the campsite was not busy there was no problem setting up the tents (which was good because it rained later). Everything was clean, there was access to tea and coffee at the right times and the right places and a place to charge phones. Best of all were the friendly staff.
