My wife and I were moving to the UK from Hong Kong with our 15-year-old pug and 13-year-old cat. Given their age we could not risk taking British Airline, which would treat pets as “cargo”. We picked KLM instead because they allow pets in the cabin. But the trade-off is that we would need to fly to Amsterdam first, then go to the UK on road.

One could imagine how challenging the whole trip would be: It took 16 hours to fly from Hong Kong to Amsterdam, another 6 to 7 hours to travel on road from Schiphol to my house in the UK. Also, under the covid 19 pandemic, everything about traveling is getting extremely complicated and full of contingencies. After booking our flight with KLM, our next hurdle is to find a reliable and effective pet van company.

We did a lot of online research and emailed five to six pet van companies. While some never replied, some rejected us right away because of the lockdown and the uncertainties over the border control and pet relocation arrangements between the UK and the EU after Brexit.

It was Pets2go2 that finally made our road trip possible. Gordon was very helpful throughout the process. He is a honest guy. I raised some very difficult questions about pet relocation after Brexit. He never pretended he knew every answer. I was well informed about what was feasible, and where the potential difficulties would be. After a great deal of email exchanges, we finally chose Pets2go2.

It turned out that we made the correct decision! My wife, my dog, my cat and I all arrived at the UK safely as planned!

During the road trip we were well taken care of by our driver, Maddie. Maddie is a friendly, responsible, and very sensible young lady. We enjoyed the chats with her during the whole journey. When we arrived at the Eurotunnel, some unexpected event happened, which could have made our long journey even much longer. We were fortunate to have Maddie as our driver. She tried her very best to find a solution for us. I can see she really cared about the welfare of her passengers (both human beings and pets) and fully respect her job. I am very impressed by her strong sense of responsibility. With her help, we finally made through it and arrive at the UK.

Maddle‘s driving skill is great too! She drives safely and politely. She is a very good driver.

I would recommend Pets2go2 with no reservations. Congratulations to Gordon and Maddie. You are really doing good in your jobs! Bravo!

Excellent service, Gordon always does his best to fulfill the job, transferred already a couple of times my lovely boy from Paris airport to my home in London. I definitely don’t put a 3 kilo Maltese in the luggage area in the airplane. Prefer an easy transfer by car and Pet2go2

Really really good, very very pleasant and made a very stressful journey for my Elderly Mum and her two cats from Thouars, France to Solihull, England very enjoyable, relaxed and thoroughly well looked after.

I can not recommend this company enough. They have just brought back to the UK from the South of France my elderly parents with their cat and dog during a very difficult time. I was concerned the journey would be very stressful for all concerned but my mother says it was an enjoyable experience and she cannot praise Maddie, the driver, enough. Many many thanks.

Gordon & his team were amazing. We moved to Spain last week with our 2 cats & tortoise & the experience was stress free. We had had to change our plans quite close to our original departure date due to unforeseen circumstances, but Gordon could not have been more helpful and his calm reassuring manner de-stressed a very stressed pet parent! Very poor customer service, I was belittled down the phone and I could hear someone else yelling and swearing at someone else on the phone too.
Wouldn't trust with a pet snail.

Absolutely horrible company, Gordon Brine is so rude. I asked a polite question via email and he told me to stop wasting his time. So disrespectful.

Really good service, we had our dog brought back from north Italy back to Hove. No problems and we were in constant communication with the driver, which kept my wife’s mind at ease. Thank you & we shall be using your service when we do the return leg.

Horrible experience! They more or less blackmailed/threatened me ...I was so scared!!!These were my pets!!!do nt trust them!!!

I am having to edit my original review as the company have objected to some of my comments so here goes....

These people took responsibility of our pet Peewee on Wednesday 7th of March 2017 in Puglia Southern Italy. We employed them to bring her, our two dogs and two cats from Puglia Southern Italy to Herefordshire.
We got a call that Wednesday evening to say that our dog had been run over on a motorway in Switzerland as she had slipped her lead during her walk! What near a motorway?
Is that why she was so afraid?

Two of our three dogs were returned to us.....

This really hurt. We have had no official report or explanation but we are glad that they have now moved on!
