Excellent weekend for children to try new activities. Staff were great. Lots & lots of walking!Overall good fun

PGL are a fantastic company, whether it's your first residential or not, they can be trusted to deliver an excellent experience to all. The rooms were lovely, the beds were so comfortable, the food was gorgeous and the staff were super helpful and professional. The pupils and teachers had the best time!

A fabulous experience, amazing staff that go above and beyond to keep everyone happy.
Accomodation was the best clean and plenty of space.
Activities were exciting and well managed with safety a top priority.
Food was delicious plenty of choice to they cater for all needs.
We have booked again for next year and our Guides and Brownies and leaders can not wait!

Took Year 5/6 in September. Second time visit. Great location. Children loved activities. Many was first time away. Settled well accommodation excellent. Food good. Staff friendly and helpful. Booking process easy. Special diets accommodated.

We have just got back from a very happy week at Overstrand. The venue was great with a jam packed programme. The leaders managed the children really well. It was my first experience of a Y6 residential and I am looking forward to going back next year.

2025 was our second trip to PGL Liddington, although we had in the past been to Disneyland Paris several times with our Brownies, Guides and Rangers.
The experience has been consistent - Excellent from start to finish which resulted in happy girls and happy, although exhausted, leaders.
The group leader is supported and advised through the whole process - just pick up the phone and someone will be there to help.
Help doesn't stop when you arrive at your destination - you are assigned your very own group PGL staff member.
I highly recommend PGL.

Our small Guide group enjoyed a fabulous autumn weekend of activities. It's hard work for a small group to arrange these things independently, so using PGL means we can get a wide variety of activities for the girls to take part in, food and accommodation all sorted too! Dietary requirements were no problem. We loved going at this time of year, the site was much quieter. The staff were all fabulous from the first enquiry through to the end of our stay.

Great venue, easy access, huge site, great staff

As a SENCO, I recently organised a residential trip to PGL Liddington for a group of SEND pupils, and I cannot praise the experience enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated genuine care, patience, and understanding of our pupils' diverse needs.
Accommodation was clean and accessible, and the catering team were brilliant at handling dietary requirements and sensory sensitivities around food. One of our neurodivergent pupils even commented, “This is the best place I’ve ever been!”
We’ll absolutely be returning next year. Thank you, PGL Liddington, for making outdoor adventure truly accessible for all.

PGL's communication leading up to the trip was excellent. Emails were responded to quickly and further emails were sent to remind us of documentation to complete prior to our visit.
Having activities on the day of arrival was a great addition this year.
The activities planned were organised well and met our expectations.
The catering team provided a fabulous menu for the week, and were very supportive when some children needed an additional option.
Another great and successful trip this year. We are already looking forward to PGL 2026.
