Do not sign up for “free” trial

Similar to all of the recent reviews from others, I too was charged a monthly fee after cancelling my free trial within the 7 day window. After sending two emails to customer services complaining , I received the following response:

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. We'd like to explain.

A monthly subscription was activated through (website link) after your trial ended. The trial was not canceled and this is why you were charged.

If you need to cancel a subscription in the future, you can head to (website/account) > log in with the email used to sign up (shown at the top right of the Photoleap invoice that was sent to your email inbox) > tap Cancel your subscription.

Nevertheless, we have canceled your subscription and issued a refund for your purchase.

Pleased to have been refunded however what they are saying is incorrect as did in fact cancel my trial. Shocking that they are potentially getting away with this!!

I downloaded this app from the App…

I downloaded this app from the App Store. I’ll admit I forgot to cancel the subscription through the App Store so I was charged for a yearly subscription which I will not use as the app was of no use to me. Skip 6 months forward and I find out I’ve been getting charged a monthly subscription on top of the yearly fee I already paid since April. The support team has claimed I signed up again through there website directly.

I first got a response from the support team that they could not do anything as they did not have my banking details. Then somehow they manage to give me back one month of a refund. They are still due me a full refund for all of the other months they have charged me for as I did not sign up for there app. They are SCAMMERS!!! Do not sign up for this app unless you are prepared to pay more than you signed up for.

If I could give 0 stars then I would.

Free trial....how?

Super confusing to start a trial. No idea what they thought about when landing into 'How your free trial works' and not giving an option to do anything

Wish I could give 0 stars

Wish I could give 0 stars! I canceled before the trail ended and they took my money.
There is no subscription and paid history in my Apple account at all. There is no way to unsubscribe, I tried every way.
I called my bank and reported fraud. My bank should give me my money back. However because I have no way to unsubscribe they can keep taking my money. Bank froze anybody being able to take money through Apple. Now I have to go in and change my debit card and do all that.
I have contacted them and they asked for a receipt thanks Apple for giving me that at least. Do NOT get their free trail scammers should be charged for what they’re doing to people. But since I’m in Canada and they’re in Israel how do I or others charge from another country?
I repeat do NOT get their free trail they’ll keep robbing you.

Unsubscribed two days before the trial…

Unsubscribed two days before the trial end, get charged for a month anyway. Just now found the second email from them warning that two days of trial left, clicked there and was brough to a different page which showed I am still on! So, unsubscribed again. Dodgy way of doing business.

This company is quite a scam

This company is quite a scam. They make it impossible to unsubscribe, and as a result I have now already paid 100 euros to this company that they refuse to refund. Do not get a subscription!!

The app tool for generating images in…

The app tool for generating images in my opinion is not the best. You always get the opposite of what you’re asking. It’s basic AI if you’re not paying more than $40 a year I’m assuming. So it hasn’t been ideal to use to create my stories with eleven labs. I would prefer to draw my own images. As far as folks not being able to cancel their subscription it has never been a task for me to do. Just go into either your google play subscription account or Apple Pay and view your active subscriptions and cancel from there. However if you’ve paid outside from your phone you will have to go to their site per desktop method and cancel that way. It’s definitely user error.

SCAM!! THEY GOT MY CARD DETAILS

After noticing the second unauthorized charge deducted from my bank account, I am greatly frustrated, particularly as there was no invoice or email notification for the initial unauthorized transaction—I only became aware of it through my bank statement. Despite diligently searching, I could not locate any subscription associated with your application, as I never knowingly subscribed to it. Furthermore, I have deleted the app and checked both my account and Apple account, finding no evidence of any active subscriptions.

I demand a refund for these unauthorized charges and insist that you cease any further attempts to withdraw funds from my bank account. This experience has raised serious concerns regarding the security of my card details, especially considering the charges were not made via the App Store.

I strongly advise caution when downloading this app, as it appears to have unauthorized access to users' card details.

Photoleap… pure scam

Again they took my money from my account even after contacting them and the bank. There is no way to cancel from the app and they don’t respond to emails. I asked my bank to stop them and still I’ve been charged. DO NOT DOWNLOAD their app as it is a pure scam!!!! Contacted the Apple App Store and no response… what a surprise

Photoleap wants to force me to pay…

Photoleap wants to force me to pay twice to start using my laptop for the service when they say I can use my subscription on an additional devise. THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE. Photoleap wants me to start a completely separate paid subscription for each and every devise that I use. It refuses to acknowledge my IOS subscription on my laptop and only provides away to start a separate subscription. Pretty scammy

I did a free trial

I did a free trial, I unsubscribed it in time, and they still charged me. Then I went to unsubscribe again and they try to trick you to click on 'keep subscription' by making the button more prominent and where logically, the confirm unsubscription button should be.
Edit: they gave me the refund after writing to their customer service, so I am glad about that.

Don't do it!

Don't do it!

They lure you in with a free trial subscription, but then you still need to pay for any actual generation. But the worst is that once you go through with the trial, they basically hide any way of unsubscribing without actually going through the paywall. Dodgy, deceptive company.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Do not sign up to no trial. Have reported them to Apple and have also managed to update the card used so they cannot take any funds from my credit card. I will also go a step ahead and report them to fbi.

False advertising with there free trial all intended to get your card information and never let you cancel.
